91. Taking her away!
Author's POV
"How did he get in? Who is the security incharge today?"
Rose turned mad when she realized that their biggest enemy is standing in their garden and they didn't even know about it.
"Mom, I let him in."
Arthur declared and everyone frowned at him.
"May I know the reason?"
Rose glared at him.
"Of course he has the reason..."
Egon replied on behalf of him.
"Afterall I am bride's brother."
His voice had too much pride in it.
His declaration popped everyone's eyes out with shock.
"Arabella?"
Rose looked at her in disbelief.
"I can explain."
Arabella saw broken trust in Rose's eyes.
"Please trust me."
Egon stated walking toward them and Rose blocked his way, her hand was firm on his chest. He stopped and looked at her mischievously.
"Leave before it turns ugly."
Rose warned.
Egon removed her hand from his chest.
"It will turn ugly if you touch me again."
"Mom, please... You are not well."
Oliver requested, realizing Rose didn't like his presence here.
"Dad, please stop her."
Damian pulled her away from Egon, he knows that she can still fight with him but he doesn't want her to get hurt.
"I believe our sons know what they are doing."
Egon went closer to Arabella who gulped as he looked straight in her eyes.
"Nice try but you should know that you can't trick me."
He grabbed her hand but Arthur stopped him.
"We let you in because we wanted you to participate in her happiness. You are crossing limits now, Egon."
Arthur warned.
"She is ours."
Egon smirked.
"You can be more convincing"
"Three of us has suffered enough, you don't have to come between us all of a sudden and ruin it."
Oliver pulled her away from Egon.
"I understand that you have overprotectiveness for you newly found sister and you are right about it but is shouldn't cost us."
"I don't give a fuck about whatever happened in the past. I am new in the story so I need assurance."
He sounded deadly.
"She is my only family now, show me that you can protect her and I won't come between you."
"You don't want to go back alive!?"
Oliver gritted, standing eye to eye with him.
Egon chuckled deeply.
"Look at me, you think I fear death."
His smirk was psychotic.
"You have only one option, defeat her threat and take her back from me."
"You are crossing limits, Egon. Leave!"
Arthur warned.
"Make me!"
He challenged.
They were close to grabbing each other's throat but Arabella stopped them.
"Please!"
She Pleaded.
"All of you matter to me. I don't want to see you hurting each other."
She looked at Egon pleadingly.
"Don't do this. Please! I know what is good for me."
Egon looked down at her and fixed her veil gently.
"After keeping yourself away from the royal life and hiding from me till now, sacrificing safety and choosing wild life. Yeah! I think you definitely know what is good for you."
He took a deep ragged breath.
"I can't let you do this until I make sure that the people you are choosing are safe for you... You didn't let me become your brother till now but I guess I should at least have a right to protect you, considering you are my only living family. I am not going from here without you, decision is yours."
Arabella's chest filled with guilt when she heard him, the only thing he wanted was family and she didn't gave him that chance. It was also sure that he wasn't going to back out, she had to make decision before situation turns ugly.
She turned towards Knight brothers.
"Please!"
"No!"
They growled in unison.
She grabbed their hands.
"I love you and I believe in you. I can't loose you but I also don't want to loose my family. I want all of us together, this is our golden opportunity to end this rivalry."
They pulled her in hug, not wanting to let her go.
"You said, you will believe in me and whatever decision I make. I need your support in this. Please. Match is in two days and I know you are going to win, I want him to see that you are the best choice for me, no one should be doubting our worth."
She hugged them tightly.
They had no plan to let her go but she was right, they also don't want her to stay away from her brother. May be this would be the chance to fix everything.
Egon grabbed her hand when they released her from their hold.
"See you at the match."
Both of them watched her as her brother led her away from them. One thing they liked about Egon was, he was brave and passionate enough to enter his enemy's house for his sister whom he doesn't even know properly.
Arabella sat inside the car and Egon sat on driver's seat.
His phone rang and he put it on speaker.
"I got Arabella, Rancho... Now you can kill Knights."
She frowned at him when he said that.
