92. The Hidden Movie!
Author's POV

Arabella entered the mansion and all those scary and traumatic memories flashed in front of her.

The clicking of keys on the wooden surface made her turn around. Egon was behind her, he took off his jacket and looked at her.
"Do you want something?"

Arabella looked at the mansion and nodded.
"Can we go to some other location... I don't like this castle."

"You should be the strongest when it comes to emotions... Knights are making you soft or what?"
He pulled out his gun and placed it near keys.

"No, they are just making sure that I am human with feelings and emotions..."
She replied and took off her heels. Her feet was aching.

She looked around and someone looked missing.
"Where is that girl?"

Egon ignored her question, gently grabbed her hand and made her sit on the couch.
"I need to know what happened that night."

Arabella understood that something must have happened with that girl so she didn't ask again but she was not ready to tell about herself either.
"It's not important now, I am tired... Do I have a room to rest?"

He nodded.
"Your own room."

She got up and walked towards the direction of her room. Her feet felt heavy as she got closer, it's not like she has only bad memories of that room, there are many good and happy memories too but bad memories are stronger. That one Nightmare which haunted her since childhood has happened in that room only.

She wanted to turn around and ask for another room but it will show her as a weak person and she doesn't want to look like one, not in front of him at least.

She took a deep breath and pushed open the door. The sound of the door gave her deja vu. Her bed was as it is, the interior was also same, it looked like someone didn't let it loose it's innocence. She touched her soft toys, they were still vibrant but what grabbed her attention was the teddy bear which was used to suffocate her.

She turned around when she felt presence by the door.
"I thought you would like to see your room like this..."
He entered.
"It was locked after your death, anyone hardly came here."

"It's just a room, doesn't matter."
She didn't want to show her emotions to him but he could see it.

"Who tried to kill you?"
He asked again.
"I need to know because I am the king now and you are in my kingdom... I want to know who was that traitor."

Arabella smiled bitterly.
"Digging graves will give you nothing but rotten reality..."

"I am fond of dead bodies... Tell me!"
He sat on the bed.

Arabella grabbed the teddy.
"It was my mother!"

Egon didn't react like he was somewhere doubtful about it. Her confession just cleared his vision.
"I am all ears!"

"She tried to suffocate me with this."
She tossed the teddy bear on the floor and grabbed the lighter which was kept near candle holder.
Egon watched her as she set the soft toy on fire.
"It didn't work, someone came before she could stop my breath..."
She stood by the window looking out towards the ocean which wasn't far from the castle.
"That night I tried to run away from the house, thinking no one wants me and my mother will try to kill me again. I was unaware of her reason and had no time to figure out."

She recalled that night when her life took drastic turns.

Her little feet were running towards the ocean. There was a boat which used to go in the main city every night and return in the morning with required necessities.
She was planning to escape with the help of that.

But before she could climb it, someone grabbed her and muffled her screams. She thrashed in the hold but she was too tiny to fight. The person took her towards the heel which was close to deep ocean water, there was no beach.

She was thrown harshly on the ground and finally got the chance to see the person, it was her mother.
"Mom?"
Her eyes widened as she got up with the pain in her ribs, any child would feel happy to see mother but she was terrified because she knew that she would hurt her.

Her mother smiled at her but it was obviously fake.
"What are trying to do, Arabella?"

The little girl was shaking in fear.
"I want to go away from you and everyone... You don't love me anymore, no one loves me... I'll go far from you all."

Her mother chuckled.
"Trust me, I want the same."

Arabella stepped back when her mother touched her cheek.
"You want to kill me... You are a dirty mom... I hate you!"

"See, honey! I need power which is not possible until you are alive... You have to die, and now that you want to go away from everyone then why not we sent you really far away where no one can find you... My work will be a lot easier..."
She looked around to make sure that no one is watching them.

Arabella tried to run away but she grabbed her arm and yanked her back. She thrashed in the hold.
"Mom, please leave me... Please!"
She cried but her little heart screamed horrified when she was thrown down from the heel.

Arabella fell into deep water and struggled, her tiny lungs started burning in salty water. Her struggles died down as blackness took over.

Egon took a deep breath like he was trying to control his anger.
"How did you ended up with Rancho?"

"His father Renzo was the one who saved me..."
She remembered the conversation. Renzo was family member so he was present in the castle for a discussion. Thankfully he brought her out of the water on time.

"You mean Agatha tossed you in the water?"
Renzo tried to confirm again when Arabella was recovered. She was hiding in his cottage.
"Are you sure, girl?"

"Yes!"
She confirmed.
"I should inform dad... He will punish her!"
She got up to leave but Renzo stopped her.

"You really think that will happen?"
Renzo asked her disappointedly.
"It will ruin your father's image as a King... He won't help you and you already know how much you matter."

Arabella started crying, feeling helpless.
"But__"

"Your mother has achieved what she wanted... She wanted position of mother queen and she got it by taking sympathy after your death. Who won't care for the mental health of a woman who has lost her only child?... She knew what she was doing... You were the only barrier between her and the little throne she got today."
Renzo wasn't gentle with words.

"She really did that?"
The situation had already snatched her innocence and childhood from her.

Renzo grabbed her arm and dragged her out towards the corner from where the a celebration was visible. She saw her mother receiving good wishes and her heart broke into thousand pieces.

"I don't know what to do now."
She looked at him helplessly.

"You can join my agency... After a few years they will anyhow forget how you look. No one comes there. You will become a strong woman and then you might also come back to take your revenge."
He was mischievous.

"Strong woman?"
Arabella mumbled, the word sounded appealing.
"Okay!"
She wasn't aware what she was signing for. Renzo just wanted a pawn to destroy Bismarck family who refused to gave him his rights and he got one. He kept her hidden from everyone to make her his Ace but he died before he could do anything with her.

Arabella sighed.
"After growing up, I realised that Renzo might have had his own motives but it was too late, he was dead by then... His psycho son took over and my life became more fucked up... Anything else, do you want more spice?"
She looked at him.

Egon looked at her eyes which were filled with hate.
"What do you want me to do now?"

"Why are you siding with Rancho?"
She asked annoyed.

"Because I hate Knights!"
He smirked.
