CHAPTER 105: DREADFUL DECISION
Tessa didn't know where she was and how she should get out of trouble with these men so she followed them in their car. She was bundled into the car, her hands tied so she wouldn't escape.

From the way they were dressed and the way they spoke, Tessa knew that she was dealing with mafia Lords, dangerous and ruthless ones.

The man who Tessa had suspected to be the boss was talking about how his money got stolen by a woman who had deceived him.

“That bitch. After she took Tisa, she had to steal my money too. I don't understand what I would do now but I'm sure I'll get back at her soon enough. I promise her and she'll pay my money through her nose.” The leader cried.

Tessa didn't want to listen to what they had to say. Most times, her mind drifted to Drelo and the pain he would be going through at the hospital, for Christ's sake she just wanted to live a peaceful life with everyone she cared about. Is that too much to ask for?

“I think we should find her and make sure she pays. I think she's doing everything she can to run away from the fact that she took that money from me.” The leader, whom Tessa later found out his name was Ifti, responded.

They had taken her to a big dark apartment where they were planning to kill her. From all she heard them say, she believed that they thought that Tisa and someone stole their money and they were yet to be found so when they saw her, they thought she was Tisa.

Of course, she couldn't keep mute and let them kill her for a crime she didn't commit.“Sir, please.”
She went on her knees. “I don't know what the problem is but please I'm not the one you are looking for, actually, Tisa was my sister.”

“What the fuck are you talking about?” Ifti asked, boiling in anger. “Was?” “Yes. I was with her like eight hours ago but I think she might have died in a fire outbreak while she was trying to kill me..”

“That's Bullshill!” Ifti slammed his fist on the wall. He had this Italian accent that made him more scary than he looked. “You stole my money and now you're lying to me? Where is that bitch, your accomplice?”

Tessa didn't know of any accomplice Tisa could ever have, she just met the girl hours ago! Why won't anyone listen to her? Why does she have to get into trouble this way? And is this man blind, couldn't he differentiate his girlfriend from her?

Then, a man came in and whispered into the ears of the boss. All the men there looked intimidating and scared, and coupled with that all of them had a gun. Tessa didn't know what to feel or how.

“Hmm..” Ifti thought out loud. “You do look a bit different. Tisa, I mean she had pink hair while you have brown hair. Did you dye your hair?” He asked.

“No, stupid. I'm her sister who found out about her hours ago.” Tessa's head was screaming these words but how could she say them when her life depended on this man? “No, it's because I'm not Tisa, I'm her sister.”

Ifti laughed again. He probably still thought Tessa was still lying. “What? So you don't remember going to Vote Rida with me? Those steamy nights at the hotel? Nothing?”

Tessa wanted to scream disgusting but she dared not, she only sat and glared at him with wide open eyes. It seemed that he was beginning to believe that she didn't know her from anywhere.

“Then who are you?” Tessa was convinced that these guys were dummies. She had stated many times that she was Tisa's sister but no one was listening. Why would Tisa date idiots?

“I am her sister and I got introduced to her by Talia just a few hours ago and ..” she was trying to explain to them how Tisa might have died but they interrupted her.

“Talia? Do you know Talia?” Ifti turned to his men and they nodded at him.“Yes, I do.” “How do you know her? She was the one that made the cake here with you and she stole my money, both of you!” He screamed. “Well, you said she's your sister. Well, I don't care! I just want my money.”

They all looked at Tessa like there was a response they were expecting. Oh.. they had expected for her to help find the money but she had no time for that.

“Please Sir, listen to me. Since I'm not the one you're looking for, could I please leave? I have someone at the hospital and he needs my attention.” Tessa, at this point, didn't care about her appearance, all she wanted to do was visit Drelo and make sure he was alright.

“Well, I can't let you go like that,” Ifti responded.
“You are my oyster hope of getting my money back so I won't let you go.” Ifti nodded.

Oh God. Tessa felt like the whole world was against her. How she got entangled in this was a thing of surprise. Would it have been better if she had died in the fire? No, her family needed her!

“Why do you need me?” She asked, summoning some courage.“Since you know this Talia, you'll help me retrieve my money from her and then I'll set you free and you can go and see whomever it is you want.

I just need my money back. Then you go.” He smirked, hoping he had made a good deal. Tessa thought about it for a while. This meant that she would be free for some time even though their eyes would be on her but she could finally visit home and check on Drelo's progress.

The men stood quiet waiting for her to make her decision. The single word she could say could either make or destroy her. Of course, they were powerful men and could easily find Talia if they put their minds to it. “I'll do it.”
