Chapter 594: Bastard Lawrence, Put Me Down

Chapter 594: Bastard Lawrence, Put Me Down

A cool breeze blew her hair back, the sound of the wind roaring in her ears.

Just when she thought she was about to lose those bodyguards, she suddenly heard footsteps getting closer behind her.

Instinctively, she turned to look, only to see a swarm of bodyguards in black suits chasing her relentlessly!

It seemed like they were about to catch up to her.

Molly gritted her teeth and ran with all her might.

She heard a loud thud and felt like she had hit something. Her head buzzed, her vision went black, and her body fell backward.

Just when she thought she was going to hit the ground, a strong arm caught her waist, holding her up.

As Molly was relieved she hadn't fallen, she heard a familiar heavy breathing above her.

She froze slightly and looked up, unexpectedly meeting a pair of deep, familiar eyes.

Those eyes were too familiar to her, especially with the gold-rimmed glasses.

Realizing who it was, Molly's face turned pale, as if she had seen something terrifying, her eyes filled with fear.

The man hooked her waist with one hand, while the other gently patted her face. "Why are you running? So eager to see me? Don't worry, I'm right here, not going anywhere."

Molly's fear gradually turned into disgust. "Get lost! Don't touch me!"

She couldn't help but shout at him, feeling utterly repulsed by his touch.

But the next second, Lawrence smirked and effortlessly hoisted her up.

Molly tried to struggle, but Lawrence controlled her legs, leaving her to pound on him with her fists.

"Lawrence, you jerk! Put me down!"

Lawrence ignored her, carrying her forward with large strides.

He quickly walked out of the small forest, heading towards a silver-gray sports car parked by the roadside.

Seeing the car, Molly immediately had an idea.

She could escape when Lawrence tried to put her in the car!

As she was feeling pleased with her plan, Lawrence stopped by the car and turned to Indigo, who was following behind. "Got the stuff ready?"

Indigo nodded quickly and looked at the bodyguards behind him.

The bodyguards understood and immediately brought out the prepared rope.

Lawrence sneered coldly. "What are you waiting for? Tie her up!"

As soon as he finished speaking, the bodyguards swiftly tied Molly's feet and then her hands.

Molly was furious and couldn't help but curse, "Lawrence, you..."

Before she could finish, Indigo walked over and taped her mouth shut.

Indigo pretended to apologize, "Ms. Koch, I'm really sorry."

Molly glared at him, making muffled sounds.

Anyone could tell she was cursing him out, but with her mouth taped, it was inaudible.

Lawrence carried her to the passenger seat, opened the door, and roughly threw her inside.

Molly's head accidentally hit the seat, causing her face to pale with pain and anger.

She glared at Lawrence, wishing she could bite him to death.

Lawrence raised an eyebrow, smirked, and pinched her face. "I love how you want to kill me but can't. Be good, I'll buckle your seatbelt."

Then he walked around the car, got into the driver's seat, started the car, and sped away.

The sports car headed towards the suburbs, driving for nearly an hour before gradually slowing down.

Finally, the car stopped in front of a villa in a suburban area.

The scenery here was quite nice, with a creek and artificial hills in front of the villa area.

After security confirmation, Lawrence drove into the villa area, stopping in front of a modern-style villa.

As soon as the car stopped, Lawrence unbuckled his seatbelt, walked around the car, opened the passenger door, and lifted Molly out like she weighed nothing.

He carried her horizontally, looking at her with a mocking smile.

Molly's hands and feet were tied, her mouth taped, leaving her unable to attack Lawrence, only glaring at him with eyes full of anger.

Lawrence ignored her angry glare and carried her into the villa.

The villa had a small yard with a vibrant lawn.

Entering the villa, Lawrence threw her onto the sofa. Molly felt like she was being tossed around like garbage.

She struggled to sit up, shaking off the hair stuck to her face, and saw Lawrence approaching.

Molly glared at him, making muffled sounds, seemingly saying, "Untie me!"

Lawrence approached her, smirking, enjoying her angry glare.

He smiled, raised his hand to touch her face, pinching and rubbing it for a while before finally peeling off the tape from her mouth.

With a ripping sound, Molly felt a burning pain around her mouth, her hair pulled off!

She winced in pain, glaring at him. "Lawrence, are you trying to kill me? Let me go!"

Lawrence smirked, lifting her chin with one hand. "Let you go? So you can go drink with your ex and watch you two get back together?"

Molly raised an eyebrow, her expression cold. "Lawrence, you stalked me!"

Lawrence ignored her words, staring at her swollen lips and murmuring, "Molly, I was actually planning to let you go. But seeing you with Billy, having dinner, him looking at you so lovingly, reminded me of what you did to me before. I'm very angry now, in a bad mood. What should I do?"

Molly was speechless. "That was in the past. Can't you get over it? Can you be a bit more magnanimous?"

Lawrence took a deep breath, suddenly tightening his grip on her chin. "Molly, you call me petty? Have you forgotten that I cut ties with the Parker family to be with you? I endured humiliation for you! And you? You cheated on me with Billy for a better life! Now you want me to be magnanimous? I can't! Don't take me for a fool!"

His voice grew colder, his eyes filled with deep anger, staring at her.

Molly felt scared, wanting to turn away, but her chin was held, forcing her to look at him.

Lawrence sneered, "Feeling guilty because I hit the nail on the head? Can't look at me?"

Molly lowered her eyes, slowly speaking, "I was wrong back then. I apologize. I was locked up by you for over a year, eating countless pieces of bread, and now you're the richest man in Regal City, with a different status."

Lawrence smirked, "So? You think your past actions can be erased now?"

Molly looked at him. "Can it?"

Her eyes were slightly red, with tears if you looked closely.

Her appearance made Lawrence pause, but the next second, he smiled thinly. "You want to reconcile? I tell you, no way! You'll never escape my grasp in this lifetime!"

Molly gritted her teeth, softly explaining, "I wasn't trying to get back with Billy. I was having dinner with him to clear things up!"

Lawrence sneered, pinching her face. "Molly, you mean what I saw was fake? You're really good at lying now, not even blushing."

Molly glared at him. "I'm not lying! I'm telling the truth!"

Lawrence scoffed. "Molly, do you remember when I cut ties with the Parker family for you, living in a cramped apartment, you swore to stay with me no matter what?"

Molly bit her lip, unsure what to say.

Lawrence chuckled. "Molly, when you fulfill all the promises you made, then you can leave."

Molly froze, feeling a heavy stone in her chest, making her very uncomfortable.
