Chapter 163: Bianca Knows the Secret!
"This company was founded by Willie and me!" Olivia said.
Olivia stood up. In her high heels, she was half a head taller than Bianca, with a powerful presence. "When we were starting up, where were the Reed family members? Now you're saying my company is yours? That's ridiculous, Bianca. Why don't you go ask the court whether this company belongs to the Reed family or to Willie and me!"
Bianca was left speechless.
It was true that the company was founded by Olivia and Willie, but she just felt upset, really upset. She turned to look at Willie.
Willie was helpless, too.
Olivia was indeed the second-largest shareholder.
Seeing the Reed family members uncomfortable, Olivia felt she had bet right. Yes, she wasn't afraid anymore. The ones who should be afraid were the Reed family.
Olivia said slowly, "Willie, either divorce me and estimate the value of Apex Technologies Corporation, give me half the money, or I won't leave here easily. And you, Bianca, I'm the second shareholder of Apex Technologies Corporation. If you dare disrespect me again, I'll fire you. And Terry, go tell him that his office used to be mine. Tell him to get out and give that office back to me."
After speaking, Olivia said to Nora, "Nora, let's go."
She'd leave the rest for them to figure out - whether to settle the divorce properly or go down together, it was just a matter of choice.
After Olivia and Nora left, Bianca immediately started cursing, "That bitch! Willie, are you just going to let her take over five hundred thousand dollars like that?"
Willie's face darkened. "What else can we do?"
"That's over five hundred thousand dollars!" Bianca refused to let Olivia have that much money.
She turned around and went to complain to Eleanor.
When Eleanor heard this, she jumped up from her chair in anger. "Olivia took $540,000 from the company?"
"Yes, Mom. She also said she's the second shareholder of Apex Technologies Corporation, and I'm just a manager with no right to control her. She said if I keep talking nonsense, she'll fire me."
"How dare she! Does she think our family runs a bank? No way, I need to call Willie."
Olivia had caused Eleanor's sister to go to jail. Eleanor was now completely at odds with her and immediately called Willie. "Willie, did Olivia come to the company to cause trouble?"
"Yes, she wants to divorce and divide the assets." Willie's tone wasn't good.
He didn't want a divorce, and couldn't get divorced. He had invested in a factory that was half-built. If he had to give half the assets to Olivia, his factory wouldn't be able to continue, and it would cause a financial crisis!
Besides, seeing how beautiful Olivia looked today made him even less willing to divorce her.
Eleanor said coldly, "Divide what assets? What assets does she have? If she wants a divorce, she leaves with nothing!"
Willie frowned, his voice showing fatigue. "Whether she leaves with nothing isn't up to us. She's already hired a lawyer. Even if I drag it out and refuse to sign the divorce papers, I can only hold out for half a year at most. But now she says she wants to come back to work at the company. It's not something I can stop just because I want to."
Eleanor often assumed everyone needed to follow her arrangements completely.
Eleanor's face darkened. "I still can't agree to give her money! No, I'll go find her tonight. I need to get that five hundred thousand dollars back!"
"Stop making more trouble." Willie was fed up. "If we really end up divorced, it won't just be about five hundred thousand dollars."
This was the first time Eleanor had been yelled at by Willie. Her face looked terrible.
Willie rubbed his temples and explained to her, "I really can't divorce her right now. If I divorce her, I'm pretty much done for too."
Willie explained his situation.
Eleanor still cared about Willie. They definitely couldn't give Olivia all that money. She thought for a moment and said, "Then don't divorce her. First, coax her back home, then slowly make her give back those hundreds of thousands of dollars ."
"Olivia, are you really going back to work at Apex Technologies Corporation?" After leaving Apex Technologies Corporation, Nora asked Olivia.
Olivia nodded. "If I don't go back, Willie won't agree to divorce easily. I've looked into it - if the man refuses to divorce, even if you file a lawsuit, they won't grant a divorce the first time. The second time would have to wait another six months. I don't want to drag it out that long."
After Steven's guidance, Olivia now knew what to do. "Right now, I need to make a scene. Only when I make it big enough will the Reed family be scared."
"That's true." Nora now realized how troublesome divorce was for women.
As long as the man refused to divorce, it would drag on for a long time.
Nora said, "Olivia, just tell me if you need anything. I'm free lately and can stay with you."
Olivia smiled. "It's okay. If you have things to do, go ahead. I know what to do now. I won't let them bully me."
Nora nodded. "Okay!"
After finishing this matter, they went home.
Nora still needed to go out to mail Andrew's order, so she let Olivia rest at home while she went out alone.
Nora carried two large boxes of goods and Philip's shirts, taking a taxi to Brilliant Star.
She didn't dare bring them out in the morning because she was afraid of having nowhere to put them and afraid Steven would be angry.
Brilliant Star was also in Harman Tower, on the 56th floor.
Nora walked in.
Brilliant Star worked on Bluetooth and AI. As soon as she entered, there were drones flying around, with employees testing drones, and a robot navigator.
"Nora." Philip had received a call early on that Nora was coming to Brilliant Star to mail goods.
Seeing each other again after half a month, Philip's eyes were gentle. He no longer went to work at Apex Technologies Corporation and spent every day at Brilliant Star researching AI.
This was Nora's first time at Brilliant Star. Dragging two boxes of goods inside, she felt completely out of place at Brilliant Star.
She looked at the drones overhead and found them amazing.
Seeing her curiosity, Philip asked, "Want to look around Brilliant Star?"
"Sure." Nora was very interested. She was going to start a business next, and finding good products was important to her.
Nora followed Philip around Brilliant Star, with Philip introducing things along the way.
Nora listened carefully. To make money, she needed to understand each product carefully. These products could all potentially make big money for their owner in the future.
After learning about Brilliant Star's products, an hour had passed.
Her phone rang. She took it out of her bag - it was Steven calling.
Seeing Steven's call, she answered with a smile, "Hello."
Her voice suddenly became sweet. Philip, standing beside her, instinctively felt the person on the phone was someone special. He glanced at Nora and then noticed several kiss marks on her neck.
Philip was stunned. Did Nora have a boyfriend?
"Where are you?" Steven's voice came through the phone. It was already past five in the afternoon, and he wanted to ask her out for dinner.
"I'm at Harman Tower, mailing goods," Nora answered honestly. "It's Mr. Hayes's order."
Once this was done, she'd have no more worries.
Steven acknowledged, seeming not too keen on mentioning that Mr. Hayes. "I'm off work. Should I come pick you up now?"
"Why come pick me up?"
"To go out for dinner tonight." Steven decided directly.
Nora replied, "Okay, I'll let Olivia know. Call me when you get to Harman Tower."
"OK, I'll be there in about ten minutes." York Development Group was very close to Harman Tower.
Nora sent Olivia a message saying she wouldn't be home for dinner.
Philip asked her, "Going out for dinner tonight?"
Philip had actually figured out that the person on the phone was probably her boyfriend, asking her to dinner. Her expression was so sweet.
Philip felt a bit stung, feeling dejected. In just a short time, Nora already had a boyfriend.
"Yes." Nora smiled slightly and looked at Philip. "Philip, can I borrow some bubble wrap and packing tape from you?"
She didn't have any at home, so the goods weren't packed when she came.
"Sure." Philip had someone bring the items and asked her, "Are these two boxes the chips that the big client bought?"
"Yes." Nora nodded and was about to squat down to pack them.
Philip stopped her. "Nora, the boxes are too big. You won't be able to move them. Let me help you."
"Okay." Nora looked and saw that the two boxes were indeed too big for her to handle. "Thank you."
"No problem, we're friends." Philip said, "I see these two boxes are quite large. Let me help you nail two wooden crates outside later. It'll protect the goods and be safer."
"Great, thank you!"
If Philip hadn't mentioned it, she wouldn't have known to use wooden crates. She'd never shipped such large items before.
Nora was very grateful. Otherwise, if the goods got damaged in transit, it could cause other troubles too.
At this moment, Bianca came to deliver two trays of chips.
As soon as she entered, she saw Nora and Philip together. She personally heard Philip ask Nora if these two boxes were what the big client bought.
Bianca quickly realized that Nora had diverted the big client from her old store to offline!
This bitch Nora had clearly diverted that big client offline, but told them the client had canceled the order!
She was a scheming bitch!
"Nora!" Bianca put down the chips and glared hatefully at Nora.
Nora looked up and saw Bianca. Before she could speak, Bianca suddenly rushed over and grabbed Nora's hair. "Bitch! You secretly diverted the big client offline and put on an act in front of us, saying the big client canceled the order!"
Nora wasn't easy to bully either. She kicked Bianca back, making Bianca stumble backward.
Bianca deliberately fell against Philip.
"Philip..." Bianca pretended to be wronged.
Philip looked cold and pushed her away. "Bianca, what are you doing here again?"
"I'm here to deliver chips to Brilliant Star." AI also needed chips. Now that Philip didn't come to Apex Technologies Corporation anymore, Bianca could only run to Brilliant Star every day just to see Philip. She didn't expect to run into Nora at Brilliant Star today - what a small world!
And she'd discovered a big secret!
