Chapter 30 Chapter 30
Luceila's pov

It was getting obvious that everyone in this house hated me. There was one thing they held against me. It was either my face, my scent or my presence.

A loud bang from the door pulled me out of my thoughts. I turned sharp to see Reis walking in. The moment he saw me, his speed increased and soon, he was standing in front of me.

“Take off your shirt, I want to check out your back.” He blurted out of the blues, instantly shocking me.

“What are you talking about?” I blinked. I was completely confused by his outbursts. What had gotten into him tonight?

He took off his jacket and made his way towards me. “Turn around.” He told me, demonstrating it with his hands. I stood there staring at him, completely taken back by his attitude.

“What do you mean I should turn? What are—” The words died in my mouth when he spinned me and bent me over. I felt his dick brush over my butt and a soft moan escaped my lips.

What just happened right now? I couldn't struggle, Reis was obviously so strong that trying to fight him off only led to more brawl and my bones would weep for it.

So I remained in my position, praying that no one walks in on us. His hands roamed my back, pulling my shirt down to my shoulder as he traced his fingers across something I couldn't identify.

“Found what you're looking for?” I grunted, still subdued by his weight on my back. “If you have, will you please get off me before I choke to death?” I desperately wanted him off me but for some reason, I liked how he brushed against me.

“Who gave you this mark?” He asked, his eyes still not leaving my back.

“I can barely see shit so I don't know what you're talking about.’ I argued. He let me go for a few seconds before he picked up his phone and pressed against me again, this time he had taken a picture and he shoved it in my face.

It was a moon tattoo. But I never had a tattoo on my back, not even one that I had done on my own so seeing one on my back brought a lot of questions and I needed answers.

He finally let me go. “Was it Sisilya?” His expression darkened like he could piss on himself if he found out the truth.

I waved it off immediately. “Mum? No way, she'd kill me if she ever saw a tattoo on my skin, not even my back. You must not tell her about this, ever.” I tugged him by his shirt, making sure that he was listening to me.

It took him a while to finally respond. “I can't promise you anything, Luceila because as it stands right now, your life could be in danger and we don't know it yet.” He said as he paced around the house.

My chest swelled with fear. “Did you just say danger? Is anyone trying to kill me?’ I glanced at him, catching his every look to know when it's tough and hard. “Reis!” I shoved him by the shoulder but he could kinky stumble behind.

“I don't fucking know, Ah! I literally found out about it together. And it's messing with my head already.” He dug his fingers into his head as he increased his pace around the house.

I staggered back, fear blinded my eyes, causing tears to almost fall from my eyes. Was I going to die? I didn't do anything wrong, I knew nothing about anything that was going on and it seriously troubled me that someone would want me dead.

Reis made to leave the living room when I pulled him back, my grip tightened on his arm. “You don't happen to know anyone that could or might want to, you know….” I made a sign kneeling while showing him how the knife swiped.

We were still talking when Silas made his way into the house and paused for a few minutes. Reis noticed this and stopped, his hands dropped to his sides in less shock. “Do I have a pimple on my face?”

Even with the self-respect, I still felt my eyes dart from Ries and back to Silas. “Have you seen a tattoo like this before?” Reis shoved his arm in my face as he waited for Silas to look at the picture.

Silas leaned in, shaking his head “Not that I can remember, why?”

Reis came to stand beside me. “Females omegas with that mark are now found in the order. Peter had told me about it today while we were at the crime which was already small, concerning the number that were affected.” He sighed, rubbing the bridge of his nose. He was obviously frustrated.

Silas exhaled, taking Reis’s phone in his hand and he went through the pictures again and again. “Draven did say something about the border being raided and we don't know who. The worst case was we couldn't even find it.

That was when my brain touched, Draven was saying something about the border being exposed as all and before I could hear the rest, Silas had already dragged him outside.

“Were you spying on me?” Ruan's eyebrow raised in confusion. Usually, I'd look at myself from up in the mirror and with anticipated reaction but I just stood there, wanting to add something at least.

I scratched the back of my head. “No, uhm, I was going back to my room when I overheard you—”

Reis raced to cover me like he knew what he was about to do next. By the time Ruan could raise his hand to me, Ries had anticipated the toilet. A smug smirk from his lips reached his lips.

“Ruan….why are you doing?” Reis put his arms in front of me, blocking Ruan's mini attacks. “She wasn't eavesdropping. She was only concerned.” But telling by the look on Ruan's face, he was hiding something but this wasn't the time to press him further.

He only rolled his eyes, turned towards the stairs and began heading up stairs. “Let me know when you guys find out the owner of your scar or whatever that is.”

My mind ran wild. I was thinking of all the million hows I could've gotten the mark. Was it from mum or something else? I was still deep in my thoughts when I felt someone trace their fingers on my back again.

I turned to see Reis dancing his hands on my back. “Hey…stop.” I held his hand, pausing as we stared into each other's eyes.

Soon, Reis was itching towards me and I couldn't stop him. Or I didn't want to.
