Chapter 53
The countryside, the castle.
Ella had been sent back again.
Looking at Dorian still unconscious in her arms, she worried that Joshua and Scarlett had really drugged him.
She needed to get a doctor to examine him.
When getting out of the car, Ella told the bodyguards around her to fetch a doctor.
But no one paid attention to her. They just escorted her into the castle.
Ella had no choice but to carry Dorian inside.
In the luxurious castle living room, under the expensive crystal chandelier, Michael sat on the sofa in high-quality silk pajamas, his knees bent, looking cold and noble.
His handsome face seemed covered with a layer of frost, his expression full of murderous intent.
Ella could clearly see
he was gripping sharp glass shards from a wine glass. The shards had pierced into his flesh, and blood was flowing down like water.
It looked shocking and terrifying.
Afraid that Michael might have an episode, Ella quickly walked over holding Dorian and told him honestly, "I was away too long and missed my child, so I went to pick him up. Michael, don't be angry. I came back, didn't I?"
Ella had thought that back at Tranquil Villa, with Joshua's protection, she could escape this demon.
She didn't expect to be so naive.
For the sake of being with Scarlett, Joshua had drugged Dorian unconscious.
She couldn't put her hopes in Joshua anymore.
Rather than staying by Joshua's side, watching him being lovey-dovey with another woman, she'd rather be with Michael.
At least he was clean and wouldn't make her sick to her stomach.
"Your child?"
Michael dropped the shards in his hand and stood up, approaching Ella step by step.
His whole body seemed shrouded in a dark aura, his eyes blood-red, his features twisted.
Like a demon from hell, he violently snatched Dorian from Ella's arms and held him up in the air, as if he could crush his throat at any moment.
"Michael, no."
Ella cried out in alarm, but didn't dare snatch Dorian back. She could only stand there trying to calm him down as much as possible.
"Listen to me, my grandfather passed away. Dorian and Aurora are the only things I have left in this world. Don't hurt him, or I'll die too."
Ella deliberately cried in front of Michael, tears streaming down her face.
"Michael, I'm begging you, don't hurt him."
Michael wouldn't listen.
His Ella, how could she have children behind his back?
She was supposed to be his.
They had made a pact when they were very young. He would be Ella's servant for life, would cherish her, spoil her.
He would marry her and make her the most noble and happy woman in the world.
How could she have someone else's children?
Michael couldn't control his violent impulses. He gripped Dorian's neck, determined to kill him.
"Michael."
Ella grabbed a glass shard from the sofa and pressed it against her own neck, threatening Michael.
"Let him go. If you dare hurt him, I'll die right in front of you."
Aurora was already missing. If anything happened to Dorian, she didn't want to live either.
Whether staying here or going back to Joshua, it was all hellish torture.
Death would be a release.
Michael turned his head. His blood-red eyes saw Ella pierce the sharp shard into her throat.
Blood flowed straight down her neck.
He immediately released the child and snatched the shard from her hand.
"Ella, you can't die. You can't leave me again."
Ella pushed him away and quickly picked up Dorian who had been thrown on the floor. She continued crying and pleading, "We've been apart for ten years. I never thought I'd see you again, so I had children with someone else. Either kill me, or if anything happens to my children, I won't want to live either."
Ella held Dorian tightly in her arms, afraid he'd be snatched away again and hurt.
Michael answered without hesitation, "Okay, I won't hurt him. Just don't do anything foolish."
He knelt down and held the mother and son tightly in his arms.
"As long as Ella doesn't leave me and stays by my side obediently, I'll give you anything you want."
He raised his hand to stroke Dorian's handsome little face, looking sincere.
"Your children are my children. I'll raise him well."
Ella hadn't expected Michael to actually give in to her.
Seeing that Dorian still wouldn't wake up, she quickly asked again, "Michael, my child won't wake up. Can you get a doctor to examine him?"
Michael nodded in agreement and immediately shouted to the servants waiting nearby, "Call the doctor over, quickly."
The servants bowed and left.
Michael helped Ella up and tenderly wiped the blood from her neck, his voice gentle with great restraint.
"Ella, let's take the child back to the room first, so the doctor can examine him when he arrives."
Ella nodded.
Thinking of Aurora, she struck while the iron was hot.
"I have another daughter named Aurora. She and Dorian are twins. She's missing."
"Aurora disappeared in that ocean where you saved me. Since you could save me, she should still be alive too. Can you help me find her?"
Michael had only one thought in his mind.
As long as Ella was well and could stay by his side.
As for these two children who suddenly appeared, he didn't seem to care that much.
Ella's children were his children.
So Michael didn't get angry about this anymore and answered without hesitation, "Okay, I'll send people to look for her. I'll definitely help you find the child."
After taking them back to the room and watching Ella put Dorian on the bed,
Michael pulled her over, very insecure.
"Ella, I don't care who the children's father is, but you can't leave me again, or I'll go crazy, understand?"
To calm Michael down and considering Dorian's safety, Ella could only go along with him for now.
He was a madman.
Normal one moment, crazy the next.
Completely unpredictable.
Who would dare stay by his side?
Given the chance, Ella would still leave with Dorian.
While waiting for the doctor, Ella was anxious and worried.
She looked at Dorian's unconscious state with heartache, hating Joshua even more.
The next day, morning at Tranquil Villa.
After getting up and washing up, Joshua prepared to check on Dorian.
When he came to the room, he found Dorian was no longer on the bed.
He suddenly panicked and started searching everywhere.
Joshua searched while calling out, "Dorian, where are you hiding? Come out."
"Your mother has already left me. You can't leave me too, Dorian."
Joshua searched the entire villa but couldn't find Dorian.
Thinking of the security cameras in the house,
Joshua immediately ran to the surveillance room.
Opening the computer, the image of Ella appearing on the screen instantly made him freeze, his heart feeling like it had been violently struck by something.
