Chapter 39 Collin Left?

Chapter 39 Collin Left?
Anthony insisted on going home, but I asked him to fix the village residents' problems first. If Collin had already managed to escape, they could start thinking about helping me. And with a heavy heart, Anthony finally agreed, returning to the village without Collin.
At night, after all the reporters had been successfully dispersed from this house, I planned to meet Andrew and discuss the villagers' issues. I have to be able to persuade him to retract all his statements to someone who is collaborating with the villagers so that the villagers won't be down for too long.
However, I didn't find Andrew in his workroom. Is it possible Andrew is in Lucy's room? It's a complete lie that the man only considers her a friend. Look, even at this hour, he's still in Lucy's room to make sure she's okay.
But I have to speak, and Andrew always says I shouldn't be awkward in this house because I'm the hostess. It doesn't seem like it would be a problem if I went to Lucy's room and borrowed Andrew for a bit.
Finally, I decided to go to Lucy's room to see Andrew, but I heard Andrew's loud shout. "You are so bold to bring up Matilda's name without my permission!" Andrew was furious; I'm sure this started because the reporter mentioned my existence, and we were almost caught.
I didn't decide to go in; I waited outside because I was worried Andrew would get even angrier.
"I didn't know you were planning to hide all of this. Besides, sooner or later everything will be revealed. Everyone will know that Matilda is still alive." Lucy's words were followed by a loud slap that could be heard outside.
"Call Matilda 'madam.' I want my woman to be respected by anyone." I was quite stunned; Andrew loved me in an absurd way. Even though my heart is pounding, this is the wrong attitude.
"You want your woman to be respected, but you never respect her. You hit her, you were violent, you let her lose your baby, and you traumatized her so much she had to be hospitalized in a mental institution. If you want others to respect your wife, you must first respect her yourself. Because what outsiders do to her is what they see when you treat her." And the sound of breaking glass was heard.
"I tried to be quiet, to keep you by my side, and to treat you the way your brother treated you. I even cleared your name repeatedly. But you always feel like I just can't get angry at you? I even mistreated Matilda; if it weren't for my promise to your brother, I would have finished you off." Andrew's words were soft, but they were sharp and would make anyone shiver to hear them. Then the sound of something falling was heard; it seemed like Lucy had fallen, and Andrew was the cause.
Lucy has been blind all this time, just like I was before. Yet Andrew was so rude, and all the perfect images in the media and what was seen by the eye were nothing but an illusion. Andrew's content is nothing but pure emotion.
Right now, I hear footsteps heading toward the door. It looks like Andrew is going out, and I decided to hide. It's impossible for me to talk about the villagers when he's in such an emotional state.
I let Andrew pass me, heading downstairs, where I guessed he was probably planning to go to his workroom.
I glanced at my watch; it was already ten o'clock at night. If I can't talk to Andrew, maybe I can disguise myself and break into the detention room to tell Collin about the villagers' situation.
With strong conviction, I carried out my plan. Because this isn't my first time, I already know the points where I can move freely and get away with it until I reach the holding cell. I just have to trick the CCTV a little, avoid it as much as possible, or turn it off without anyone knowing.First, I went to the crew's changing room. Wearing larger-sized clothing to hide the curves of a woman's body.
Upon entering the detention area, I was quite surprised because there weren't many guards. Only three people were on guard, and they all looked tired and wanted to rest. Two of them were already sitting and asleep. The other one was still trying to stay awake, but several times he also almost fell asleep.
I waited a few moments until the men also gave up and chose to sleep. I counted in my head, and by the count of fifteen, the crew finally decided to sit down and sleep for a moment. I need to wait a bit until the crew is completely asleep so I can take one of their membership cards to get access to the holding cell.
After a while, I mustered the courage to approach them and steal one of their membership badges. After I enter the holding cell, the door will automatically close by itself, and I will be safe inside without supervision.
I crept slowly, not wanting to wake the other prisoners. My goal was to go straight to Collin's holding cell to talk to him. But how surprised I was that I didn't find Collin inside.
"Collin?" I called him in a whisper; perhaps Collin was in the bathroom. As far as I remembered, Collin said the holding cells had bathrooms for them to clean themselves. Maybe Collin was in the bathroom.
However, Collin didn't answer me. I thought Collin didn't hear me, but if I shouted, I would wake up the other prisoners.
I waited here for a while, but Collin didn't come out for a whole hour. Suddenly I thought, is it possible Collin has already escaped? Perhaps Collin waited too long for Anthony to arrive, so he used the plan B he mentioned.
With a feeling of sadness and emptiness, I returned to my room. And when I got to my room, I couldn't remember when I had turned off the lights.
The balcony was open, moonlight was the only illumination, and the wind made the curtains dance across the floor.
As I was about to reach for the light switch and turn it on, I realized someone was sitting on my bed.
"Are you looking for your doctor?" It was Andrew's voice. He was sitting facing me, his gaze sharp, with his black shirt open and both elbows resting on his thighs.
Andrew looked so angry, his eyes locked onto my movements until I forgot to turn on the lights.
With one hand, he gestured for me to come closer. And for some reason, I was willing and obedient. I approached him, following how his index finger gestured for me to kneel beneath him.
Andrew seemed to have a magnet at the tips of his eyes and fingers; I unconsciously fulfilled all his requests.
Then suddenly he grabbed my jaw tightly and whispered, "I've moved the doctor so that no more of my naughty wives will try to see him."
