CHAPTER 41
For safety precautions, and because Alpha Dante was still recovering, Lena insisted that he wouldn't go after Tyrion yet. She wanted him to be captured and prayed that Alfred was safe, but he wouldn't allow Don to go after him in his state of health.
Three days had elapsed since they left the hospital and returned to the palace. Alpha Don insisted that he would go after Tyrion, knowing so well that Tyrion would be waiting for him.
Lena sat on the bed with her child asleep in her arms. She watched as Don got dressed, stalling on himself different types of guns and bullets. He had his cap and dark glasses. "You look stunning, just like an assassin…." she complimented and grinned. "I wonder if I'd ever be trained like you…."
"No need!!" he had his gloves on. "I'll channel the strength to our child instead….."
She nodded, loving the response she got from him. "So, how long would it take? Are you going to bring him here or…"
"I'll have him killed there. There's no need to bring him here, so the pack members will call me incompetent. I'll take care of him over there before returning…." he assured her and walked closer to the bed. He sat down and took her hands, gazing at her face. "Be strong until my return…"
"Be safe too! I'm waiting for you here…." Tears already welled up in her eyes.
He kissed her palms and then placed a soft kiss on her lips. He could tell that it had been ages since he had done that to her.
Lena hated that he was leaving, but she didn't have to stop him since he was doing his job as an Alpha King and Don. She waved him goodbye as he walked out of the room and shut the door behind him.
She laid the baby on the bed and covered her with the blanket, then slowly came down from the bed. "I hope he will take care of Tyrion, so I will only have Bianca left to battle with. I'm not sure I'll make time ever for her. She can do her worst and end up like Evelyn…." she pondered as she had her footwear on to leave the room.
Odessa and the rest of her servants told her all that happened in the palace after she left. They also urged her to plead to Alpha Don to look into the death of Evelyn and find the source because they believed she was murdered…. but Lena refused
Evelyn's crime could lead her to be executed if she was still living, and she wouldn't want Alpha to keep behind the necessary things that he would do and begin investigating the death of a traitor.
Since Evelyn was dead, that was her end. If Bianca was the culprit, she would surely fall into some trap later on and face her penalty.
She stepped out of the room and locked it behind her. The moment she turned, her eyes landed on Bianca, who leaned on her doorpost, staring at her.
Not a single word left her throat as she walked past her and into her room to see her maids seated, chatting…. then she got seated with them.
"Why did you leave the child? Should we go take care of him?" Susan gestured, eyes widening.
Lena shook her head. "The door is locked, and no one can open it except me and Alpha. It's safer than this room…"
They all felt relieved and relaxed.
"So tell us again, why did you leave the child behind? Was it Alpha who told you to do so?" Odessa folded her arms against her chest, eyes affixed on Lena.
Lena glanced at them and hissed. "That isn't what's bothering me…" she supported her right palm to her jaw. "I'm trying to understand how I have a brother that I don't know about….."
"A brother?" Odessa furrowed her brows.

Alpha Dante reached the club, and he suspected Tyrion would also be there. They visited the club so well when he still resided in the Mafia Villa.
He wasn't with his car because he didn't want his presence to be known.
Standing before the building, he seized his scent so it wouldn't be perceived. Although Tyrion would notice that he was the one with his stature, whoever had never seen him months ago would doubt that he was the one just with the way he dressed.
The Don everyone respects barely dresses like an assassin. Once he wants you killed, he will search for you and capture you alive. But with the game he's into, taking a step he hasn't taken will be the only way to get what he wants.
He stepped into the clubbing hall and took a seat in the extreme. There, he was served his orders, and the first thing he did was to lighten a stick of cigarettes.
The clock was ticking, and he was trying his best to sense the presence of Tyrion around. If he ever inhales his scent a bit, he would trail it and find him quickly.
He had burnt three sticks of cigarettes already when a young lady approached him and got seated opposite him. She poured herself a drink, less concerned about the man who had his glasses, cap, and mask covering her face.
As she emptied the cup and was about to grab the bottle of wine again, Alpha grabbed her hand. He smirked. There was a scent lingering around her. "Where is he? The last guy that f*cked you…."
The lady grinned. She seemed fearless. Besides, it was their world, and they were used to it.
"On the balcony…"
He let go of her and stood instantly, leaving behind all he had ordered, and headed to the balcony as the lady said. When he reached there, he couldn't find him. "He found me first and sent her…." he exhaled a deep breath and continued, trailing his scent and leaving the compound.
He didn't stop walking, even knowing that it was a trap…. he entered a small route that was out of a major route. "I wonder how many men he has and thinks they would conquer me…" he scoffed and stepped into an unknown road he didn't know where it led.
Deeper on the road, he had chills all over his body and halted. "What was that? A dying wolf!!??" his palms dipped into his pockets as he summoned his wolf sight and sense to find the werewolf that called on him.
He took his left, walking slowly until he reached a tree that had grasses covering almost half of it.
"It's here…." he halted and began searching under the grass.
To his greatest surprise, a young man was lying lifeless under there.
He squatted instantly and carried him into his arms, bringing him out of the grass.
"What?" his eyes flew wide. He didn't see that coming. Was he with the male version of his mate? "Lena! No!!" he shook his head. "How can they possibly have the same looks? Even the birthmark…" he caressed his cheek, after which he checked his eye color. "He's barely alive…."
Staring at him for some time, he came up with an idea-the only way to save him at that critical moment.
He pulled out his glove and took out the little knife in his pocket. A glance again-he shook his head. "I'm sorry if this will hurt, but it's the only way I can save you." He placed the knife on Alfred's skin and left a little cut, then did the same to himself. He pressed his cut and watched as his blood dropped thrice on Alfred's cut.
He opened Alfred's mouth and dropped his blood thrice again, then watched him. He was certain that his blood could revive him and suppress the sign of silver he had noticed in Alfred.
About a minute later, his finger moved.
He smiled and held his hand. "Don't act rashly. You still have a long way to go…."
Alfred gently opened his eyes to meet him. "Are you the one?"
"The one? Who? Were you expecting someone?" Don inquired, perplexed on why that would be the first question of someone almost dead. "Uhmmm, I don't think you should bother who I am."
Alfred sniffed. "You must be her husband…"
"Her? Who's that?" his brows knitted.
"Lena!!" Alfred sighed deeply. "Did you…"
Alpha shut him up. "She talked when she was dying, and here you are talking too. I wonder how you two know each other? I never knew she had a sibling …." his nose wrinkled. "Let's leave that for another day…"
"You said she died? Is that a joke….." Alfred drew back his attention.
He glanced at him and shook his head. "I didn't say so. Just wait for me here. I will come back for you…." As he stepped back a bit, the sound of a pulled trigger made him halt. "So early? I didn't expect you when I wanted to find you?" he uttered and licked his lips, taking a glance at Alfred, who was quivering on the floor.
First, he put his glove on again and then dipped his palm into his side pockets to get out his gun.
"I'm sorry for coming back alive. I have no choice as well…." Tyrion said to him.
Don Dante nodded. "You have no choice indeed…." The moment he pulled his trigger, the sound of a released bullet echoed within. It was like a dream-something he didn't expect to happen. It sounded the second time, and then the third…. his gun fell off his palm.
