CHAPTER 42
Alpha Dante took two steps forward and then swirled his neck backwards to see Tyrion kneeling on the floor with blood gushing down his face. He darted his eyes around until he met Lucas, who was taking a slow walk towards him. "Lucas!!"
"Alpha Don!!" Lucas bowed to him the moment he approached closer. "I took you unaware. I'm sorry for that…." he bowed again.
Alpha glanced at Tyrion, who was still kneeling and touched his shoulder. He fell with his face landing on the floor.
"Now, you are sure that he's dead…" Lucas kicked Tyrion and shifted to the other side. "I saw him stalking you from the club, and I understood you were after him because he was supposed to be executed." he looked at his gun and put it into his pocket.
Alpha looked at Alfred, who was still lying on the floor and seemed to have passed out due to the fear, and then he looked back at Lucas. "Let's bury him! No one should know what happened…."
Lucas agreed and joined hands with him as they lifted Tyrion and made him face the sky.
Alpha began searching his pockets. He took out all the guns, bullets, chains, money, and lastly, an envelope. He unsealed the envelope to read what was written in it and was stunned by what was before him. It was a letter of acknowledgement written by Lena's father and which bore his seal as well.
"Is that going to be a burden? Then we should burn it…." Lucas drew his attention.
He shook his head and dipped it into his pocket, and then continued with Tyrion.
They stripped his deceased body and then burned his body to ashes…. after which they had the ashes buried as well. With that being done, they were sure that he had died and wouldn't resurrect suddenly.
"I will take that guy to the hospital. Will you come with me?" Alpha said, pointing at Alfred.
Lucas went closer. "Isn't this Lena?"
He shook his head. "I am shocked as well…."
He carried Alfred as they hurried out of the wood–like area, and then he boarded a cab that drove him back to his Pack.
***
Six hours later.
The hall chamber of the blood moon hounds pack was filled up with the official ministers as summoned by Don Dante. He was yet to return but had sent out a message that his subordinate would wait for him in the palace.
They all waited patiently for about an hour before the Alpha's arrival was announced.
He needed to clear the air about certain things. Most importantly, the letter he had just seen with Tyrion. He believes that he held it with him and didn't reveal the truth because he had a hidden agenda.
"The Supreme Alpha!!" The guard at the main doorpost announced, and he walked in.
The whole officials bowed to him as he walked to his throne.
He signaled his chief guard to come forward, and he did instantly. "Have those executors all arrested after this gathering ends. Make sure that none of them escapes….." he commanded, and the chief guard assured him it would be done accordingly.
The meeting began, and the first thing he presented to the ministers was the letter which he handed to the royal secretary to read out before everyone.
The officials were astounded to hear that such a letter existed, and the secretary went ahead to present it to the chief minister who wouldn't hesitate to understand that it was written by their late Alpha King and bore his seal as well.
While the hall was noisy due to what they had just heard and seen, the royal secretary handed over to Don the letter.
"Silence!!!" he roared, and they all went calm-the hall became as quiet as a graveyard. "Now that it is known to you all, I hope none of you will stand as a barrier to my marriage with my mate…for I won't let that soul live."
Even the chief minister who would always oppose it was lost for words. He didn't anticipate that, and there was nothing he would do to stop it with the letter presented.
After some minutes of sitting on the throne but having nothing else to discuss, Alpha Dante made his way out of the hall.
He entered his room to find Lena seated on the bed and patting the back of the baby.
The serene sound of the door made Lena turn to meet his gaze. She climbed from the bed and ran into his arms, resting her head on his chest. "We missed you!!" she mumbled and sniffed.
He kissed her forehead, his arms wrapped around her. His face glowed like never before.

"Say that again, and I'll rip out your tongue!!" Bianca yelled at one of her maids. She had hated it from the start when she got to know about Lena's return. As if that wasn't enough, a message just got to her by the chief minister that Alpha had restricted whatever would come in between his marriage with his mate. That was the most horrifying part of it.
How on earth will she be able to stay in the palace if Lena ends up becoming Luna? She didn't want this from the start. She tried her best to see that Lena doesn't achieve that title-and here it's about to happen, and no one would be able to stop it again.
She looked away from the maid who had told her to exit the palace since Evelyn was dead. Yes, the maid was right. If it gets known that she murdered Evelyn, she wouldn't dream of Luna's position but would be executed without a second thought.
She slammed her butt to the bed and folded her arms. Her mind was clouded by the thought of Lena and how to handle her, but there was no option coming into her head.
After a long thought, an idea popped into her head. That was the only option left-an option she had forbidden but would have no choice but to do it.
"That witch, I will see him tonight…." he muttered to the hearing of the maid that had led her out of the palace the first time. "She told me to bring Lena's undies-anyone, and then a dog's blood. With these two things, she will have Lena killed without a trace through manipulation."
The maid licked her lips. "Don't you think it's perfect? You will have nothing to fear about being known as the mastermind."
She nodded. "I see! I don't know how to get her undies and the dog's blood."
"Leave that to me! I will get it before the day runs out, so it will be done tonight…." the maid assured her, and she let out a dirty smile.
