So we now know for certain that a war could come if we don't do something about Raven. It is time to formulate a plan.
“So now we must wait until Raven tries something again?”
Gabriel nods, “I would assume so.”
Vlad kicks the carpet as he has fire form in his palm, “I fucking hate with waiting!”
Katie giggles, “Oh we know, Stake You Very Much!”
I laugh as he glares at her. Vincent looks at Vlad conspiratorially, “ Brother, now maybe you can see why she's so annoying.”
“Eeyore you're on thin ice!” Gabriel just laughs but it triggers me to remember something, “Venus, is Sam what you think he is?”
She goes over to Sam and runs her hand along his jaw and down his chest. She stops just at his navel as she turns to me, “Eva, how does he taste?”
“Earthy yet with a bit of spice. Similar to the other boys but a bit different. I just thought it was because he's a werewolf.”
Venus looks at my mates, “Guys, how does your woman taste?”
They all said ambrosia mixed with strawberries but Sam hesitated as if he wanted to add to it.
Venus walks over to me and runs her finger down my body, “The elixir of life. True immortality. Gods or Demigods are the only type of beings that are able to eat Ambrosia, as if a human ate some, they would literally burn away as the food is too powerful for them, although, as revealed by The Staff of Serapis, magicians can eat it and live. I suspect that the similar taste that the men share is the blood of a Demigod that flows within them.”
“Sam? You were going to add something. What was it?” He is too quiet, “Sam?” He looks around so I go over to him and take his head in my hands, “Tell me. You can tell me anything.”
Sam sighs, “Dark garlic mixed with truffle is mixed with her sweetness.”
Venus nods, “Earth and death and darkness. Yes, he's a Strigoi. But there's so much light in him too. They aren't known to possess any light.”
Amira nods, “Yes, he brought me forth, only light can do that.”
Venus thinks for a moment as she twirls a strand of her hair. Then she puts that strand behind her ear and looks at Amira, “Perhaps the Strigoi part was a dark gift.”
Amira nods, “It could have been.”
Venus asks, “Eva, you have met his family. What do you feel from them?”
“Light, comfort, and humor. Sam has that as they do, but more. I just thought it was because he was Alpha and was my mate.”
Gabriel looks at Sam more closely, “It was those things but I think that Venus is onto something.”
“But who could have given such a dark gift?”
Sam sighs, “The White Wolf.”
Morgan nods, “She tried to gift all the aided her, so it's possible that she gifted his grandfather.”
“It would have taken a lot of energy, though.”
Morgan sighs, “Yes, too much.”
I look at Eric and Vlad before I look at Morgan and Sam, “Her soul,” I put my hand on my belly, “She gifted her soul!”
Now I am starting to think that part of her soul was in me and when Sam gifted me a child he gifted me the other part of her soul.
