Cassius is struggling to accept who his father is. How can I accept that Mormo is mine so easily? How can I accept all of this except the fact that I am pregnant so easily?
Cassius asks, “So my father is Pushan?”
Gabriel nods, “Yes. He is also why many creatures mate for life or an eternity in some instances,” He looked at me and my guys when he said that, “Your father Cassius knew Eva's fairly well because he had to guide some souls to Hell. We all knew each other. We were all connected,” He looks at me, “Similar as to how we are now too.”
Levi adds to what Gabriel has told us, “The Angels wanted division. They wanted good to seek to end evil. Why beings like me were hunted to extinction because we embody both good and evil.”
Amira looks at me, “It is why you're hunted now, Eva.”
Morgan hisses, “Raven wants to rule.”
Agnes nods, “Just as the Angels do.”
Morgan purrs, “You, Cassius, and your mates are what now stands in their way. You are the balance that they seek to eradicate.”
Levi looks at me as he grins, “But Eva, you possess something that they never could have anticipated.”
“What's that?”
“You're the ultimate weapon. You are that righteous human, that Alpha vampire. You are life. You are creation! But you also wield the power of ultimate destruction too,” he says.
Venus kisses my cheek, “You are the perfect being.”

Gabriel rubs my back, “You are and Cassius is part too. You are stronger because of your darkness. Mormo wasn't supposed to be able to conceive a child. Mormo is a hermaphrodite and rarely does both sets of reproductive organs function. Yes, magic could implant a child but not make one. Even Gods rely on the powers of nature. Yet, here you are Eva. You defy nature!”
Morgan purrs, “Fate.”
Gabriel nods, “Yes, we need her and that is why the Fates allowed her creation and that of her siblings. Without her and them, all will be lost.”
This just can't be? I get that nature will find a way. There's animals that change their genders, so why couldn't a God? Maybe Mormo possesses that ability and none knew of it. My mother is dead, so we can't ask her either. An eternal being is dead. How can that happen? I need answers. I can't risk losing anyone or my babies. My babies! Holy shit!
