Chapter 92 92

Chapter 92 92
CHAPTER NINETY-TWO

LUCIAN'S P.O.V

Aurora and I stared at him in silence, shock evident in her eyes as she stared at him then at Kieran. I raised an eyebrow at Kieran too, my hands clenching on the table.

I asked him, my voice low.
"He knows? You told him?"

Aurora nodded, frowning.
"Why would you do that? Can you trust him?"

Kale raised his hands up, his face calm.
"It's alright, you can trust me. I promise."

Kieran nodded.
"Yeah, he's my beta. I had to let him know." He crossed his arms. " Immediately you guys came, I told him and made him find out everything that's been going on."

I unclenched my hands and started eating.
"Alright. I'll take your words for that."

"Thank you. Now back to what I asked, what are you doing to do about him?"

I shook my head, slowly letting out a short sigh, glancing at Aurora.
"I don't know. Right now, I'm clueless. But I know I do want him dead and gone."

"Isn't he like your father? You still want him dead?'" Kieran butted in.

I flexed my jaw.
"I thought you said you found out everything about my pack's issues."

"Yeah, why?"

I leaned back, crossing my arms.
"Then how do you not know that he's not my father."

Kale and Kieran shared a look, both eyes wide.
"You didn't tell me about this." Kieran said.

Kale shook his head,.his eyes darting around.
"I didn't know about this either."

Kieran turned to me.
"How did you find out? What happened?"

I shrugged.
"It's a long story but lets just say the truth came out in the heat of the moment. It started all this."

"And I don't think he would like to discuss the whole details because it doesn't really matter." Aurora continued, giving me a reassuring glance, I nodded gratefully at her. "We should focus on what to do now. And that includes thinking about what to do now."

Kieran nodded.
"Yeah, you're right." He gave me one careful stare before dragging his eyes away from me. "The way we see it, killing him is the best option for you."

"I know that."

"But from what we know, he has links with black magic. Something very deadly to us and we don't even know what more he can do."

"Yeah, but I'm here. I can help." Aurora pointed at herself.

Kieran tapped his jaw with his fingers.
"I know you can. We know about the battle in that pack you guys stayed before coming here."

Kale's eyes shone as he stared at her.
"You were so cool. According to what I heard, you were like a war goddess on the battle field. You completely changed everything."

She lowered her head, her hair fallimg over her face as a giggle escaping her, looking so bashful.
"Thanks, it was nothing actually."

I placed my hand gently on her lap, just for a few seconds.
"Just don't get too carried away."

"I won't."

"Ahem!" Kieran cleared his throat, looking more serious.

Most of the pack members that had been eating paused to stare at him. But they went back when he shook his head at them.

"We need to get him out of that pack, away from your pack members. You need your own army if you're going to fight."

"Why? Do you think your members are not enough?"

He glared at me.
"I don't know about you but I will rather risk the life of your pack members than risk the life of mine." Aurora looked like she was about to speak but he continued. "I don't mind risking my life to help you, don't worry."

Aurora looked at me worriedly.
"I can agree with him on that."

I stared at her.
"Don't give me that look. You would do the same if you were in his shoes."

I gave it a thought then nodded.
"Yeah, I would." I tapped the table, my head in thought. "The problem is how do I get him out of that pack and get my men to come to me? You know he has my beta and best friend locked up in the dungeons? I can't think of how to go about this."

"We'll find a way. Let's just eat first, then get our thinking caps on later." She suggested with a smile.

"I agree. I'm starving." Kale cheered, happily shoving food into his mouth.

But few minutes into his breakfast, someone rushed into the dinning room and earned straight to Kieran. His eyes were wide and he panted harshly, like he had been running for a while.

"Alpha. Wolves approaching the pack."

Kieran and Kale rushed to their feet, their breakfast forgotten. I stood up along with Aurora. The pack members stood up too, their faces now apprehensive with fear while staring at their alpha.

"Rogues?" Kieran asked, his voice going hard.

"No." The man took a deep breath. "Hostile packs."

"What the hell?" Kale immediately looked at Aurora and I.

"Its a coincidence." I growled out.

"I hope it is." Kieran growled back and rushed out, Kale followed behind him while yelling.

"Everyone, head to the pack house and do not come out until we give the order."

I took Aurora's hand.
"Stay hete, I'll go with them."

"I can help too."

"I want you to stay here. Please. For my sanity. We don't know why another pack would suddenly attack. My hunch says it might be because of us. Stay here."

I waited until she nodded reluctantly then I rushed out in the direction that they had gone. I ran past people until I spotted Kieran and his beta where I went to join them. They were standing, staring at something in front of them.

"What are you doing here?" Kieran growled.

"I'm here to help."

"I don't think I need your help."

"Well I'm not asking. I'm giving it."

I turned to look. In front of me were more than a hundred shifted wolves, all snarling and growling, ready to attack. They stood at the edge of the pack border as if waiting for the chance to attack.

I turned to Kieran, my eyes certain. "Something tells me, I brought them here."
