Boogie Man Fae

Boogie Man Fae
Alex could see that the man had a wound on his shoulder. Well that answered the question on who this man was. He happened to be The Wolf. What scared him was that he was in his home with Travis. The fact that Travis was fae but hadn't told Alex yet worried him. Sitting on the chiar across from him he looked him over. He could see that the man was dressed like he had walked out of a fantasy novel. Tight black slacks with chains hanging from the waist, a leather belt was wrapped around his waist. A midnight blue button down shirt was covered by a tight fitting vest that had a pattern that looked almost like wolves. The pattern was embroidered in what looked like silver thread. It caught the light in the room. Alex figured that he had a coat that went over the vest and shirt.

"I see you found my home." Alex spoke to the man worried that Travis would go missing next.

"Yes, it wasn't hard to be honest. The smell of a fae will always bring me close. A mixture of your scent with his told me this was your home." The wolf spoke softly his silver eyes looking into Alex's.

"I see, should I worry for my friend?" Alex didn't want to have to go looking for Travis.

"No, he isn't what I search for. Besides he..." he stopped talking for amoment as he looked up at Travis. "Well let's say that I wouldn't harm him."

"That is a plus at least. So tell me why you are here." Alex asked taking deep breath letting it out slowly.

"I am interested in you. You are a vampire but you act human still." The wolf tilited his head to look at Alex.

"Never lost the human I would guess. That and I see more than most would. Even though you are sitting here looking human I can tell that you aren't used to the form." Alex pointed out with a half smile.

"That would be true, I am more comfortable with the wolf." He told Alex with a odd smile.

"Well should I worry that you will take more kids in the area?" Alex asked with a half frown on his face.

Alex watched as The Wolf made up his mind on what to say. It seemed that the area was full of those that might have fae blood. It was a sweet smell in the blood. Something that Alex couldn't recall ever more than a drop or two of that type of blood. Travis gave him a look that told him to stop talking. Of course Alex couldn't stop the fact that he wanted to know more. This fae had already taken and harmed two humans in the city. Maybe he should listen to Travis but he didn't want to miss something.

"I have found a few, but none that I would worry over much about. The two that I did take had magic that couldn't be allowed in the human world. I can't at this moment explain any more than that to you. I shall be moving on to another city to find more magic. The two will be fine after a few days." The wolf told him with a slight nod of his head. His long brown hair fell into his eyes. Covering his face for a few moments.

"I am glad to hear that. I would hope that you won't harm them. Shocked you haven't been hurt before now. Glad that bullet didn't harm you to much." Alex pointed toward his shoulder.

"Didn't expect that human to shot. Shocked me so much I almost ate him. It was you that made me think better of it. That human had a darkness in him. It is part of the reason I came here today. That man isn't a good guy, not even a little bit. He needs to either be jailed or killed. The horror that he wants to put out in the world would make you shiver." The wolf tod me with worry and fear in his voice.

"I didn't think that the fae would be scared of humans." Alex could see the look on his face.

"When we do you should worry." The wolf spoke with hate in his voice. "Be warned of the danager with that man."

Alex would have to check on Frank and what was going on with him. After a few more moments the fae left, not drinking or eating anything while in the house. Alex knew better than to thank him. So he would have to look into this on his own. Once he was out of the house Alex looked toward Travis seeing him shaking his head.

"What?" Alex didn't understand what had just happened.

"You would find the one fae that no other fae wants to meet. He is sent out into the human world to collect the powers that are born into families beacuse some fae some place decided to sleep with a human. Not all are born with powers but sometimes later in the line it shows up again. He truely is The Wolf. No one knows his true name, just The Wolf. I am greatful that you didn't piss him off, but it worries me that he knows I am here." Travis gave Alex a worried look wondering what would happen next now.

"Maybe we should move again?" Alex suggested but could see the look on Travis's face. "I take it he would find us no matter where we are."

"Yes, he could find us any place we go. He doesn't keep to one continent or another. The Wolf is a legend that is used to keep fae from having children with humans." Travis explained as he sat on the couch.

"You mean he is the boogie man of the fae?" Alex couldn't beleive that was a thing.

"For lack of better terms. The only person who had power over him is the queen or king." Travis told him then sighed. This wasn't good at all. He would be looking over his shoulder for the rest of his life. "I still can't believe that he just showed up at the house. When I opened that door I about had a heart attack."

"I didn't have the time to come and tell you about him. I had to get the little boy to the hosptial and check on the cop." Alex felt horrible that he hadn't been able to warn Travis.

"Not your fault. The little boy was the priority in the situation." Travis understood why Alex hadn't come to tell him about the fae. "So are the two humans alright?"

"They are both in coma's at the moment. Rene should be alright by tomorrow. Raymond on the other had might take a few more days. He allowed me to take him to the hospital." Alex explained what had happened.

"He did what?" Travis had never heard of The Wofl doing that.

"Yea, thanked me for helping with Rene. Then let me take Raymond to the hospital." Alex was still shocked by it.
