Jealous
Arabelle can't contain her happiness after Ralph kissed her and they became a couple. She can't help but smile and daydream all day. It's hard not to think about what happened last night. Good thing her mom and Amie were already asleep when it happened. She decided to forget about the descendant for now. She's too happy to think about the bad things that she has to do. Maybe the curse will no longer hurt her mom. That's good enough for her if ever.
“Sis, mom wants to talk to you.” Amie suddenly shows up.
“Great! She's awake now.” she exclaimed and got up from her seat in the living room.
“Yeah, she looks way better now.” Amie replied.
“That's good. I'll go to her now.” she told her.
Amie just nodded and replaced her sister in the living room. She can finally watch some TV now that her sister is around. Their mom is doing well as well so it's okay to look for some entertainment. She chooses a cartoon show to watch and relax. Having her older sister around made her feel better. At least she doesn't need to do everything around by herself anymore. She's grateful that she's finally home. Her mom is recovering fast as well.
“Hey, mom. Good morning!” Arabelle greeted her.
“Ara, it's good to see you at home again.” she replied and smiled happily at her first born.
“I'm happy to be here. How are you feeling?” Arabelle asked and sat at the edge of the bed.
“I feel a lot better now than a few days ago. It seems like the curse is no longer inside of me.” she informed her.
Arabelle smiles at her mom and feels relieved that she's feeling better now. Her mom just took the potion yesterday and she's no longer looking pale. It's a good sign since it means that the curse has been neutralized. She hopes that she doesn't need to find the descendant anymore. If ever, it will spare her to do something bad to another person. She's too happy to even think about it right now. At least her mom looks a lot better right now.
“I think I saw your father yesterday.” her mom said.
“He's one of my friends but he looks exactly like dad!” she replied to her mom and remembered Armand.
“Really? I want to see him again if possible.” her mom replied and feeling hopeful.
“I'll ask him to come and visit you soon.” she replied.
Her mom just nodded as a sign that she agrees to her plan. She thought that she would ask Ralph to bring Armand next time. Although she's a little nervous about it since she and Amie noticed it. Armand's resemblance to their dad is cunning. What if there's more to it than meets the eye? She doesn't want to put a deeper meaning into that coincidence. He might happen to be her dad's look alike and nothing more. It happens all the time, right?

Ralph can't believe that Cassie is now back from her trip. He saw her the moment he got home from Arabelle's place. Although surprised, he's still happy to finally see her again. She's basically his daughter ever since he found her. If there's someone who should know about him and Arabelle, it should be her. He's excited to share his relationship status as if he's a teenager. Although he's almost 200 years old already, he suddenly felt younger.
“You should have told me you're going home!” Ralph said the moment he entered the palace and saw Cassie.
“Surprise! Aren't you happy that I'm back?” she tries to sound like her feelings were hurt.
“Of course I'm happy! You know I'm not good when it comes with surprises.” he replied to her.
“Well, it's good to know you're happy to see me. Anyway, I already met your new friends.” she shared and smiled.
Cassie is now smiling genuinely unlike with the other guys earlier. She's always excited to see Ralph even before. Although she's worried about him suddenly having new friends. It's really uncharacteristic of him to do that and invite them to live with him. At least that's what Justin told her when she asked. Armand seems to be really quiet or maybe he just doesn't like her. She doesn't care since she's just pretending to like them.
“Good. I met them when I was out there.” Ralph said.
“You went out of your castle? That’s amazing progress!” she exclaimed knowing the story already.
“Let's just say, I have to help my lady.” he smirked.
“Your lady, the maid?” she asked, irritated.
“She's now my assistant now since you left your post.” he corrected her, sensing her negative thoughts.
Ralph hasn't formally made Arabelle as his assistant yet but it's better to change her title. He's afraid that other people will belittle her just like what Cassie is doing. It's his job now to protect her from anything. Even from the malicious comments of other people around them. He's not planning to pretend that he's okay to call her a maid. Not that he's embarrassed about her job before but she has proven herself that she can be more than that.
“I'm sorry. So, it means she's your assistant now. Where does it leave me then?” Cassie seems to push it.
“You have decided to be turned into a vampire. That means you can get your own assistant after.” He said.
“Well, you have a point there. Aren't you the one to turn me down?” she asked and tried to sweet talk him now.
“You know I’m against it, Cassie. The council will find a vampire to turn you into one.” he reminded her.
“What if Arabelle wants to become a vampire too?” she suddenly asked, catching him off guard.
It doesn't even cross his mind that Arabelle might want to become a vampire in the future. When it happens, he doesn't think he wants to do it. He's not even sure if he likes her to be one of the undeads. Maybe he's attracted to her because she's alive. Plus, he can't deny the fact that he believes that she's Sofia's reincarnation. Turning her into a vampire is out of the question. He will never like anyone to suffer from the same curse he's been for a long time.
“Well? I don't think you even thought about it when you kissed her.” Cassie tried to question his decision now.
“Honestly, I never thought of that possibility. Although I never mentioned that we already kissed.” he informed her which made her cheeks hot from the revelation.
“It just seems like you already did that's why you called her your lady. I bet you're still thinking she was Sofia's reincarnation.” she replied with confidence.
“She was Sofia from the past. You can't tell me otherwise.” he insisted to her and she walked out.
They haven't seen each other for a long time and they are already fighting about Arabelle. Ralph never thought that she might be jealous of her. He thought that she's just throwing a tantrum but not a grown jealous woman.
