Cassie's Return
Cassie never thought that when she returns, Ralph will end up in the arms of that girl. She can't believe that they will end up being together right away. Although it took her a few months traveling, she didn't think that those two can actually have something. She had a feeling that she's not Sofia's reincarnation at all. Then why did Ralph kiss her with so much passion? She had no idea what happened while she was away but she intended to know.
“What in the world?" she can't believe it.
The moment she arrived at the vampire castle, she found strangers there. She was planning to surprise Ralph and went there unannounced. The problem is, instead of him she ended up meeting a werewolf and a warlock. They both seem nice but vampires don't normally associate with other creatures. Then she ends up finding him in another house while kissing his maid. She needs to take him back from her now that she's finally back for good.
“Enjoy it while it lasts, Arabelle. I'll take him back from you soon.” she promised to get out of the scene.
They didn't notice that someone was watching them earlier. It seems like they were too busy being sweet to each other. Now that they are able to admit their feelings, it's hard to stay away. It's confusing how things can change instantly. They both can't seem to contain their happiness knowing that their feelings are mutual. Ralph wanted that feeling to last so he chose not to say anything about Sofia. Arabelle might pull herself away from him and he can't live with it if he loses her again.
“What were you doing before I arrived?” Ralph asked her while he's hugging her waist from her back.
“Well, I was supposed to cast the locator spell and then you arrived.” Arabelle replied and giggled.
“So, it means you're still planning to find the descendant?” He asked her with an interesting tone.
“Yes, I'm going to try to find him but I'm not sure if I can end him though.” she replied.
Arabelle suddenly came into deep thought about it. She surely wanted to find the descendant of the dark witch. Although she can't kill him just like that without her feeling threatened. Maybe she can just look for him and when the right time comes, she has to do what she needs to do. It will be hard to take another life for someone to live even if it's her mom. She needs her advice about her plan to find the descendant. Although she knows she wouldn't want her to kill someone for her to get out of that curse.
“That's okay. When you find him, maybe he knows an alternative to break the curse.” he consoles her.
“I hope so.” she replied and started to relax in his arms.
~~
Cassie decided to go back to the vampire castle for now. She needs to wait for Ralph to go back so he can see her again. Now that she's back, she needs to go ahead with her transformation. She still wants to become a vampire like what she requested from the council before. She was able to think about it while traveling the world and made a decision not to go with it. But seeing Ralph with Arabelle made her ready to be a vampire. It will be easier to take him back if they're the same species.
“That witch can't take him away from me!” she whispered to herself and still feels annoyed by what she saw earlier.
When she arrived at the castle, she saw the guys were still there. Maybe she can use them to take back Ralph from that maid. She needs to have a back up just in case so she decides that she needs to be nice to them. Those guys are Ralph's friends so she will have a chance if she can also be their friend. She needs to take him back soon, especially because she will be turned into a vampire a week from now. Once she's already a vampire, her beauty will be frozen into place. She will never grow old and be with Ralph forever.
“Guys, are you home?” she shouted as if announcing her presence even if she knew they were home.
“Oh hey, Cassie.” Armand greeted her while sitting on the couch reading some books.
“Hello, where's the other one?” she asked, forcing a smile.
“Justin? He just went out for a walk.” Armand replied without taking his eyes from the book.
She doesn't really care where the other guy went. Although it's better for her so that she can talk to the one that's left. Maybe she can find a common ground with him so that he can be her friend. The first thing to do when trying to get rid of someone is to isolate them. If she's on the right side, she will have a chance to take back Ralph. He's her hero and she wants to marry him once she becomes a vampire. She knows almost everything about him, even his past. That's what she will use to get him.
“How did you meet Ralph?” she asked him again.
“Well, he found me laying down to the ground.” Armand replied as if annoyed from being disturbed his reading.
“Why are you laying down on the ground?” She tried to sound interested in his story.
“A fairy struck me with his magic and took Arabelle.” he replied and went back to his book.
Now she's confused about how Ralph meets that guy. Why did he mention a fairy and magic? Surely it didn't happen around here. It means Ralph went away from the castle. Does that mean he rescued Arabelle from somewhere? She noticed it with him ever since he took her in. He seems to have a hero complex and feels the need to rescue someone. Maybe if she's not just a child back then, he already falls for her. Although she knows that he's not that easy. He's still obsessed with Sofia.
“Looks like Justin is back.” Armand notified her.
“Great! I'll chat with him next.” She felt relieved since she can't get anything good with this guy.
“Wow, we have a visitor again. Hello there, pretty lady!” Justin exclaimed, trying to be cool.
“It's Cassie. She went here earlier looking for Ralph.” Armand reminded him.
“Hello! I decided to wait for him but we can have a little chat first.” Cassie told Justin with another forced smile.
Justin and Armand exchanged glances as if they already knew what that lady wanted. Of course they can't just ignore her so Justin decided to play along. Although she's so pretty, they know a villain when they see one. It's just like in the enchanted forest. Beautiful creatures doesn't mean that they are good. It's the same thing here in the human world. Most of the time, pretty people are the ones who can do the meanest thing. But for Ralph's sake, they need to be nice to Cassie until he goes back home.
“What do you want to know?” Justin asked.
