Chapter 51 - Blessed with Two Mates

I woke up to the sun shining on my face. I blinked my eyes a few times before getting up and rushing to the bathroom. Ari was quiet. As I finished doing my business, I washed my face and brushed my teeth. Then, what had happened to Benny came rushing back to me. Benny was dead. I had lost one of my mates. Tears began to fall as I sat on the edge of the bed. Images of him flatlining flashed in my head and I couldn’t help but to sob even more. I lifted my head and let out a sad howl. I felt so selfish about being here crying instead of being there for Xavier.

Oh goddess Xavier. He’s probably hurting as much as I am or maybe worse. Just then, the door to the room burst open and Xavier rushed in. He wrapped his arms around me, whispering sweet nothings in my ear.

“He’s gone… Benny is gone” I sobbed harder.

“Little bird”, Xavier called. Just then someone else rushed inside the room, but because of my blurry vision from my tears, I couldn’t see who it was. Then, I felt sparks on my face. It couldn’t be Xavier. His arms were already around me. I blinked a few times and Benny’s face came into view.

“B-Benny?” I choked out.

“It’s me little one. I’m okay” he said. I couldn’t stop myself from lunging at Benny and crying all over again.

“Y-you are dead… you flatlined… they called your time of death” I sobbed, hugging him tighter. He didn’t say anything. Both Benny and Xavier held me until my sobs turned to hiccups.

“Mom bit me and gave me some of her blood. This woke my vampire side. Now I’m a hybrid”, Benny said, making me look at him. His eyes flashed red before they settled on red.

“Are you afraid little one?” he asked, his voice was a bit deeper and raspier. Was I afraid that he was now a hybrid? He could drain my life out of me if he wanted, yet, I wasn’t afraid.

“No. I’m not afraid”, I admitted.

“Good, because I will never hurt you, our mate, or our pups” he said before kissing me. This was his vampire talking and kissing me. I felt a prick on my lips before he sucked on it, then pulled back.

“You taste delicious. After you have our pups, I will mark you, but for now just a tiny bit of your blood is enough” he said, kissing me again. When he pulled back, he looked at Xavier and pulled him into a kiss. From what I could see, he did the same thing he did to me to Xavier. When Benny pulled back his eyes were glowing brighter.

“Do you trust me mate?” Benny asked Xavier.

“With my life” Xavier replied. Benny smiled, showing his sharp fangs. Benny kissed Xavier where his mark is and just below it he gently sank his fangs into Xavier’s skin. Xavier groaned before moaning. This was something special. I know this meant a lot to Benny and his vampire, to know that your mate trusts you with his life… is everything. Benny pulled back and licked Xavier’s wound, sealing it. I could see a drop of Xavier’s blood trickle down Benny’s lip. I leaned forward and with my finger I cleaned it and he sucked my finger, making me gasp. One of his fangs pricked my finger, making me gasp again. He licked my finger before letting it go. He closed his eyes, taking a deep breath. When he opened his eyes, they were back to normal.

“You should get ready, little one. There’s something we need to show you”, Benny said. I nodded and went back to the bathroom. I turned on the shower and began to get undressed. I looked at myself in the mirror. I couldn’t believe that Benny was alive and a hybrid at that.

I didn’t wash my hair since I washed it yesterday. I washed my body, shaved, and washed my body again. I washed my face again, then turned off the shower. I towel dry myself then wrap the towel around my body and walk out the room. Both Xavier and Benny looked up when I stepped into the room, each letting out a low growl. I blushed and went to the walk in closet. I put on a pale pink lace thong with a matching bra. I decided on a floral print shirred Cami dress and for shoes I wore white wedges. I put my hair in a side braid then walked out of the walking closet just as my stomach growled. Both of my mates looked up at me with wide eyes.

“Sorry” I blushed.

“No need to be sorry. Come on, let’s get you three some food”, Xavier said. I extended my hands to both of my mates, making them smile.

“Alpha Jace, Alpha Brawn, and Alpha Peter are leaving after breakfast. They wanted to make sure you were okay before leaving”, Benny said.

“Were there many people hurt?” I asked.

“There were a lot of hurt people, but between the clinic, Nana, and grandma, everyone has healed”, Xavier said and I nod.

“What about mom? Is she okay?” I asked.

“Oh she’s more than okay” Benny grinned. I was glad mom was okay, but there was something I needed to tell Xavier. I stopped at the bottom of the stairs, making them both look at me.

“What is it, little bird?” Xavier asked. I placed my hand on my belly. When I do this, my bump is more noticeable.

“I have something to tell you” I said and he nodded, waiting for me to tell him.

“I killed Amanda” I said, looking down. I’m telling him because at one point in time she was his fiancé.

“Good” both Xavier and Benny said in unison.

“Huh?” I said confused.

“Amanda was one of the people who was using Benny as a punching bag. She wanted me to reject you both, so I could take her as my mate, mark her, make her queen, and give her a pup”, Xavier said, and I couldn’t help the growl that left my lips as Ari pushed forward.

“I should have made her death slow and painful”, Ari growled. Arms wrapped around me and I feel both of my mates take in my scent and I do the same to calm down.

“Is it bad that I found that really fucking hot?” Xavier asked and Benny growled in approval and I giggled. At this moment, my stomach decides to growl again, making them chuckle. As we neared the dining room, both of my mates stopped and looked at me with the sexiest smile ever. They opened the door and I saw a lot of people in the dining room. My eyes landed on the Alphas and their warriors.

“Your highnesses” they all said at the same time and bowed their heads.

“Please don’t bow. You all risked your lives to go into battle with me and my pack to rescue our king, our Royal Gamma, and the other people who had been victims of my sister and grandfather. The victims are still here with us and, from the bottom of my heart, I am truly sorry for all the stuff they put you through. None of you deserved what happened to you, but I promise you that you don’t need to fear any more. I have killed my sister and I know my mother killed her father, my grandfather. Alphas, warriors, and my warriors- no my family, it was an honor fighting beside you all. I could never repay you for what you have all done. Thank you” I said and bowed my head to them, making them all gasp. From the corner of my eye, I saw both of my mates bow their heads to them as well.

“It was our honor to fight by your side, my queen” Alpha Jace bowed his head in respect and so did the other.

“Please, enjoy your meal”, I smiled and turned to sit, but stopped when I saw my mom. She looks at me with tears in her eyes. Then her eyes went to my belly and her tears fell. She walks towards me and hugs me.

“I’m going to be a grandma” she smiled tearfully.

“Yes. Surprise” I grinned.

“I have a surprise of my own” she smiled.

“What is it?” I asked.
