✨Chapter 22✨

Julia asked Peterson to take the kids to school because she woke up the next morning. She didn't want them to go late to school because of her.

After she was done dressing up, she and Andrea were about entering the car to drive out of the house when a car drove in.

Because they were going out, they already opened the gate so it was easy for whoever it was to come in.

Andrea and Julia stared at the car with curiosity as they waited for whoever it was to come out of the car. When the person finally came out, Julia recognized him as the man that raped her.

"Who is he?" Andrea asked

"The rapist" Julia mumbled

"What?!!" Andrea exclaimed

Roy had smiles on his face and was walking towards them with his smiling face. Andrea couldn't stand the stupid smile he had on his face so she gave him a resounding slap as soon as he got to them.

"Who are you and why the hell did you slap me?" Roy asked angrily

"That's exactly what I wanted. Your smile was irritating me and I figured that was the best way to make it disappear from your face.

Do you keep coming here because you think Julia can't sue you? You think you are the father of the triplets so she can't? Unfortunately, if she can't, I can always do it for her.

I really hate bastards like you and right now, I feel like strangling you to death but I will try hard to control myself. If you ever come to this place after today, I will make sure you don't leave here with your whole body intact. You can try it and see. Now leave" Andrea said

"Why will I leave? I came here to talk to Julia, not you" Roy rolled his eyes

Julia ignored whatever he was saying and made a call to the police instead.

"Who are you calling?" Roy asked

"You will know when you see them here" Julia said

"You called the police?" Roy scoffed after Julia was done talking

"I wanted to call them the last time but I didn't so I guess that's why you have the guts to still come back here. I never knew people like you existed on this earth but then again, I can't be familiar with everyone and especially not bastards like you" Julia said

"I came here to give you a very important piece of information but since you are not interested, I will leave" Roy said and turned around

He wanted them to be interested and curious about what he had to say.

"Why do you even think we will be interested in the rubbish you have to say? Anything that comes out of trash like you will turn out to be trash. There's no doubt about that" Andrea said

"So you are not even curious one bit? What about you Julia?" he asked and turned around

"I'm not curious even the tiniest bit. Even if it's an information that will wake my parents from the grave, I'm not interested" Julia said

"Wow! But I can't leave like this. The information is too much for me to keep to myself" Roy said

"Find someone else to tell then because we aren't interested" Andrea said

"No, I have to say it. Jerry is your current boyfriend right? Do you know we are related?" Roy asked

"What are you talking about?" Andrea asked

"Jerry is my brother. We have the same father but different mothers so that makes us step brothers." Roy said

"I don't believe you. And even if you're step brothers, Jerry is way different from you. Leave now!" Julia said angrily

"You haven't even heard the most important thing and you're already like this. I'm yet to unveil the real secret" Roy smiled

"Your smile is irritating me" Andrea groaned

"Oops! My bad. I shouldn't irritate you yet" Roy said and kept a straight face

"The police will be here in any minute so just keep quiet until they arrive" Julia said

"You know that biggest secret about Jerry dating you? He only dated you after finding out I raped you. I told him how good you are in bed and he said he wants to have a taste to confirm how good you really are" Roy said

"And you think I will believe the gibberish you are sputtering? A psychopath like you can't change my mindset about someone" Julia said

"You don't believe me? Call him now and see if he will pick your call. Even if you message him, he still won't reply" Roy said

"I won't do that because I don't believe a word that you said" Julia said

"But you still need to confirm it right? Just call him and everything will be revealed" Roy concluded

Julia couldn't reply because the police drove in and took Roy with them.

"I'm going to leave the station within 24 hours and I will keep coming here" Roy laughed as they took him away

"Are you okay?" Andrea asked Julia when she noticed her pale look

"Do you think it's true that they are stepbrothers?" Julia asked

"I'm not sure but I know that Jerry didn't approach you with a different motive in mind. You can't trust what Roy says" Andrea said

"Even if he didn't have that in mind, I can't continue to be with him if he really is Roy's stepbrother" Julia said

"Let's go back inside for now, I don't think you can go to work like this" Andrea said and helped her inside

Julia was feeling a bit restless so she called Jerry. Just like Roy said, he didn't answer the call. She called him twice more and decided to stop.

"He must be busy" she mumbled to herself

After about two to three hours, she called again but he still didn't answer the call. She messaged him too countless times but he didn't respond.

"What's wrong?" Andrea asked, noticing the look on her face

"Jerry is not answering my calls. He's not replying my messages too" Julia said

"He must be busy then" Andrea shrugged

"Since about three hours ago?" Julia scoffed

"So? You believe what that imbecile said? I don't believe a word he said because Jerry isn't like that" Andrea said

"I told you he asked about the father of my triplets right? He even showed me Roy's picture on his phone so they are definitely brothers" Julia said

"Being brothers doesn't mean he approached you on purpose. Why will he ask you about Roy if he really did approach you on purpose?" Andrea asked

"I don't even understand what's going on anymore, I will just sleep" Julia said and went upstairs

*Jerry's mansion*

Jerry opened his eyes slightly with a groan. The migraine that hit him made him shut his eyes back.

"How much did I drink last night?" he asked himself

The maids already prepared hangover soup for him so he drank it and laid back on the bed. He picked his phone and when he saw the time, he sprang up.

"Ouch! My head" he groaned in pain and held his head in his palm

The time was already 2pm in the afternoon and he couldn't believe he slept for that long.

"I must have gotten tons of missed calls already" he mumbled and took his phone again

There were so many missed calls but the one that caught his attention was Julia's call.

"Why did Julia call me so many times? Did something happen?" he asked and scrolled through the calls

He saw that there was a message on his phone and went he checked it, he saw it was from Julia. He clicked on it and realized it wasn't just one message.

"Wow! I must have done something or did she miss me that much?" he smiled at the thought

He decided to go through the messages one after the other and the smile was leaving his face gradually as he read through the message.

"I guess it's really true that you approached me with a motive in mind just like your brother said. I'm really disappointed" one of the messages read

The migraine had completely disappeared by then because of her messages that he was reading.

Jerry dialed Roy's contact immediately and started wearing his clothes. He called him twice but he didn't answer the phone so he called his secretary.

"Where is that bastard?" Jerry asked Roy's secretary who was still trying to greet

"Mr Roy is currently at the police station but I heard he will be released soon" his secretary said

Jerry ended the call and got into his car, heading to the police station.
