Chapter 187
Thinking about it, Stephanie turned on the car radio, wanting to listen to some music and clear her mind.
The radio host said, “Hello, listeners, today is…”
Stephanie looked at the date.
Today was the 28th day of the divorce cooling–off period.
Stephanie calmed herself down. She told herself not to overthink and to go pick up Belinda from kindergarten first, or else she’d be late.
And Jeremiah also needed some time to deal with some things.
He already sent a message telling them it was solved, so she didn’t need to worry too much.
Thinking about it. Stephanie calmed down and drove over to Belinda’s place.
It’s just that Belinda was a bit weird this morning, like Belinda wanted to say something to her.
The dean too, seemed like he wanted to say something but stopped.
Stephanie looked at Belinda, then at the dean.
Waited for them to speak.
But in the end, neither Belinda nor the dean said anything.
So, Stephanie didn’t ask. She thought they had their own reasons and the freedom to keep things to themselves.

“Shall we go?” Stephanie said.
Seeing Belinda nod. Stephanie carried Belinda’s backpack, and they went to the kindergarten together.
“Auntie Stephanie, are you free to pick me up this afternoon?” Belinda suddenly asked before she walked into the kindergarten.
Actually, most of the time it was Stephanie who picked up Belinda. If she was busy, she would ask someone Belinda knew to pick her up. like the McKayla siblings, the Milton brothers, Jeremiah, and so on.
Normally, Belinda didn’t ask, but today she did, so that meant Belinda wanted her to come over.
Thinking about it, Stephanie touched Belinda’s little round face.
Stephanie squatted down, looked at Belinda, and said. “I’ll try to come. If I can’t make it, I’ll go see you tonight. I’ll definitely see you, okay?”
Belinda smiled, her eyes curved, nodded hard, then went into the kindergarten.
She had just taken a couple of steps when she seemed to remember something, ran back, and gave Stephanie a kiss on the cheek.
Only then did he run to school with a smile.
Stephanie touched her face, and there was a smile in her eyes too.
Belinda and her relationship got better and better.
This made Stephanie feel warm inside.
After watching Belinda walk into the classroom, Stephanie drove to Conway Entertainment.

At 8:30, Stephanie’s car stopped downstairs at Conway Entertainment. She put on a disguise, then went upstairs.
Ever since the thing about her and Jeremiah being secretly photographed came out, she had been more careful.
All the way to the most hidden meeting room, Stephanie walked in and finally took off her mask.
“I’ll probably get there around 9.” Jeremiah’s voice message came through.
Stephanie nodded and took a notebook from the side to start drawing
She still had details of “The Ethereal Voice” finals to work out.
Time flew by. After a while, the meeting room door was pushed open. Stephanie looked up and saw it was Jeremiah.
Jeremiah’s expression was really complicated. He closed the door and then sat down across from Stephanie.
“What happened?” Stephanie looked into Jeremiah’s eyes and asked. “Your expression was weird.”
Jeremiah’s fingers tapped lightly on the solid wood table, like he was trying to think about what to say.
This really shocked Stephanie.
After all, Jeremiah had always been a hot–tempered guy, so what exactly made Jeremiah so hesitant to speak?
Thinking this, Stephanie asked.
“I can think too, okay!” Jeremiah was speechless when this was brought up. Last night, the old man said he had no brains.

Damn it!
“Sigh. whatever. I’ll just tell you straight.” Jeremiah said, giving up. “This morning at the Conway’s mansion…”
Two hours ago.
The Conway’s mansion.
Jeremiah had always been secretly watching.
Once the boss and Simon showed up, he went and stirred things up.
These two vicious wolves couldn’t wait to take him down and definitely wouldn’t miss this chance.
Letting the capital side put pressure and forcing Serena, an artist under Conway Entertainment, to quit was their best shot right now!
Even though Conway Entertainment could still get a share from “The Ethereal Voice” later. Serena’s commercial value was totally ruined.
“The Ethereal Voice” was an important show, but it wasn’t the most important. The most important thing was Serena’s business deals and all kinds of endorsements after that. That was what really mattered!
As long as Serena was ruined, it meant Jeremiah had fooled around for nothing.
So, these two brothers just kept messing with Jeremiah at this critical moment.
One moment he made sarcastic remarks, the next he chatted with others, secretly offered a cooperation price, and stuff like that.
But Garrett didn’t care about it at all.
If you got killed in a fight, you could only accept it yourself.
