Battle of Heirs

I had never been one to believe in fate. I had lived enough to know that even if fates were true, I was cursed with a bad one. One night was all it took for my entire life to flip upside down. One reckless adventure. One cursed accident. One stupid revelation I wished I hadn't known. Death now hung on my head, trailing behind me everywhere. But I wouldn't let it catch up to me. Because I would bath in the blood of my enemies before they could ever come near me. Let vengeance be my driving force. Come out then, let's dance. *** I had trained my entire life for this. I had killed, tortured, and fought to get this point of my life. It was rightfully mine. And I've never wanted anything more than to claim it. Until her. A girl with the heart of fire and tongue as sharp as blade. Her fire shone fiercely burning the ice surrounding my heart. For her, I would give it all up. I would let it all go down in flames. She wanted my blood, my heart. I would carve it out of my chest and lay it on her feet. For me, there's only her.
