"C'mon, I'll drop you home."

Ethan said keeping his tone ever so casual and calm with her. When in reality he was quite annoyed that she was trying to escape from him.

How dare she. Didn't she know how dangerous and vulnerable she was right now by walking all alone on the empty country road, whilst a rogue killer was still on the loose?

He'd never desired a girl quite as intriguing, charming and cute as her. He loved how defensive and defiant she could be with him at times. But escaping him like this was the big stupid mistake she could ever do.

Ethan secretly eyed her neckline. Out of nowhere, he wanted to grab her by the neck, and pull her close to him in a very possessive way. He wanted to hold her by her long dark hair, take in her incredible scent that drove him wild. Ethan didn't want to just scent her, he wanted to claim her soft moist parted lips in the most passionate ways. Oh, how he thirsted for her sweet kiss. He could never forget the exciting thrill he felt when she first kissed him. Even though they were pretending to make out to get rid of her unwanted attention, Ethan couldn't help but slowly fall for her.

His wild side was quite eager inside of him to dominate her at all a cost.

Maybe he could just mark her now, reveal to her that he is Alpha Roman who has fallen madly in love with her and simply tell her the truth.

Even though he wished to attack her on the lone roadside and claim her as his, he didn't want to be that guy that took her rather wildly without warning.

Besides, if he did so, that would lead to his beloved hating him. Something he did not wish. His mission was to protect her until Mark returned.

Kavyaa sighed and nodded out of defeat.

He was fast and much stronger than her. She would have a chance to get away from him in the woods, but that would mean she'd need to expose her powers.

Which she didn't want to. She already had Kane hunting for her, and she didn't need any more unnecessary attention on her.

Knowing it was a stupid move to flee from him. Kavyaa obediently got in his car without a word.

Ethan closed the door and swiftly got into his driver's seat, glad about the fact that she didn't run from him. If she did, he'd have to persuade her by force much to her dislike.

"The route you'd taken was far from home, Mia? Don't tell me you were trying to escape?"

"Sorry, I just needed to take a walk alone and clear my head."

Her heart skipped multiple beats, making Ethan secretly roll his eyes. She could keep a blank poker face with him all he wanted, but her heart never lied.

He let her little lie slide for now and kept his tone neutral with her. Her actions to flee were just. She'd seen and heard a lot of things she shouldn't have.

"Mia, I understand that you require space sometimes..."

'Really? I don't think you do' she secretly thought to herself.

"But having you walking out on the quiet country road where not many cars pass by, worries me."

Kavyaa simply sighed heavily as he continued on.

"It's not safe to walk out here on your sweetheart. Not when there's still a killer on the loose."

The two went quiet for a moment. Especially Kavyaa. How could she possibly trust him? For he'd locked her in her room the night of a red moon. She'd seen him change from his warm warm kind gentleman to a rather strict raunchy man who'd coerced her into doing things privately before him. I mean why the hell would he make her strip for him when he had a girlfriend? Oh yeah, just because she broke one of his rules and went out in the woods, he punished her. She'd unwillingly stripped Infront of him and she'd seen him making crazy love to Sasha that truly freaked her out.

If she dared run from him, who knows what the hell Mark's crazy cousin would do to her? Even if in secret there were times that she was rather infatuated with him or attracted to him, due to his stunning looks there was a part of her that feared him.

She couldn't deny the fact that Ethan had the same energy as the masked man Roman. Even if he'd denied the fact that he wasn't who she thought he was. How could Kavyaa be so sure, if he was telling the truth or not?

"Look I understand that things between you and I haven't been great lately..."

Kavyaa couldn't help but scoff at that, as he drove on.

"But you must understand Mia. I'm just trying to look out for your safety." He concluded.

Kavya didn't say a word. She had a lot running through her head, ever since she'd seen Ricky being bitted down by a Cloud who turned into a vicious-looking huge wolf. She wanted to tell Ethan about it and stress her worries that she wasn't going insane, for she knew what she saw and it was real!

But how could she possibly confide in the one that locked her away in her room once? Ethan Verrono was too powerful and dangerous to say anything to. She'd predict that he would probably laugh at her, which would make her push him away from her trust circle.

Who was she kidding? He may be her temporary guardian, but there was no way in hell that Kavyaa could trust him in the supernatural matter.

The only one that she could trust was the dragon man, from her dreams.

Seeing that she'd fallen greatly silent, Ethan continued to talk to fill the awkward silence between them.

{R} If you truly want her to listen, you can pull over and take her by surprise.

Ethan secretly smirked at that thought. For he relentlessly dreamed about sinking his teeth into her marking as her as his. However, he knew he couldn't. She had no idea about who he was and he wouldn't dare pounce on her just yet.

{E} Roman, behave can't you sense she's upset with us?

"If you were heading towards the docks, I hope you had your green paperwork with you?" He asked glancing his sharp gaze over to her in a discreet way.

Crap she forgot about that! She needed the green sheet of paper with her guardian's approval since she was technically under the age of twenty-one.

She lightly cursed out under her breath making him smirk.

"You know, you have to get my permission if you want to leave the Island right?"

Ethan reminded making her cross her arms over her chest, in an annoyed kind of way.

"Why did you try to leave Mia?"

"Personal reasons." She finally said after looking out the window and avoiding all eye contact with him.

"Such as?"

"I don't want to talk about it."

Roman wanted Ethan to pull over and grab her on his lap and kiss her most passionately.

He craved to hold her and caress her and drive her emotions in a state of europhia and she screamed out his name in absolute pleasure.
