70: Alone with him in his cabin!

Kavyaa notice him changing direction from the normal route he took.

"Umm...Ethan, where are we going?"

R: Somewhere well no one will distrub us ;)

"I have another place, up the mountain."

Ethan knew he had to come clear to her eventually. He wouldn't be able to keep up with his secret and notorious facade for much longer. He knew Kavyaa was on to him. It would be only a matter of time until she truly figured him out.

"Wait, why are we going up the mountain for? Aren't we returning to your main place?" Kavyaa asked whilst concealing her panic tone.

"I would, but I don't want to."

"Why not?" She looked back at him before he returned his sharp gaze on her.

"Because I want you all to myself this weekend." The way he looked at her made her grow uneasy. It was a look of sheer seduction, the type of look that said, 'I will have you.'

"Ww..What?!" She couldn't help but stutter, with her heartbeats skipping stones. What was he planning to do with her now?!

"Kidding, I just want to get away from Sasha for a while." Ethan chuckled loving her troubled look.

"Did you two fight?" She kept her panic locked for now. Ethan was pleased that she was talking to him again.

Fight?

No. He didn't fight with Sasha yet, but that dumb girl was on the verge of getting kicked out of his pack after he found out she slept with one of his business rivals on the blood moon night. Even though she was in heat Sasha would have known not to f^ck with those whom he loathed and hated. He would have forgiven her if she mated with his best betas. But on the night, they too rejected her crazy advances on them.

"Yes. She's done something bad that disappointed me." Ethan said darkly, secretly sending a shiver down the secret Apsara's spine.

"Like what?" Kavyaa asked after sensing a dark tension that loomed over his eyes.

"She fell for my enemy."

Kavyaa's eyes went wide with surprise. She couldn't believe it, the way Sasha was around Ethan always made her think she was madly in love with him.

"Wait, she cheated on you?"

"Unfortunately." Ethan let out a short annoyed sigh.

The rest of the journey fell in silence until they arrived at their new place up on the mountain surrounded by thick dense trees and forests.

After Ethan parked his vehicle, Kavyaa got out of his car, to see a large wooden cabin house.

With a click of a button from his special remote tucked away in his pocket, the house lights came on, surprising Kavyaa.

Ethan walked up to his porch and opened up the door.

"Come on in Mia." He held the door open for her like the perfect gentleman.

Kavyaa nodded giving him a brief smile before she entered the house. She couldn't help but notice that she felt him smirk as she walked past him.

Ethan closed the door behind him as she took a look around. The place was grand, well-polished and furnished with modern exteriors all around her.

"I take it you like the place sweetheart?"

Sweetheart? She was far from being his sweetheart. Kavyaa tried not to scoff at that and instead turned her attention back to him masking on a pleasant smile.

"It's beautiful. But where is everyone else?" She asked looking around.

"Everyone else?" Ethan questioned with his eyes raking upon one body in a secret-hungry way.

"You know, Jaxson and Klaus and your staff like Mr Mead, your cook?" Kavyaa asked sensing no one around.

"Jaxson and Klaus and my personal staff don't come up here. This is my private place where I come to escape to when I need a break from town."

"But it's so clean here?"

"The cleaning staff maintain this house from time to time when I'm not in." Ethan explained removing his dark coat and hanging it on his coat hanger on the side.

Kavyaa nervously gulped. This wasn't good.

"So, um...we're like alone up this whole mountain?"

"Yes. It's just the two of us."

Kavyaa nodded at him, secretly hating the idea that she was stuck with him.

"This is just for the weekend right?"

"Yes." He replied seeing her features relax briefly.

Kavya didn't know if he was telling her the truth or if had he planned on keeping her here all alone with him for more than the weekend. She needed to stay calm and plan the right moment to escape. She couldn't let him know her true motives.

"Come on I'll show you around." Ethan walked past her and even though she had her eyes glued to the door, she knew she couldn't escape him just yet. She was up a cold mountain and there was no point of her running now, not when it was freezing cold outside.

She had no intentions of making him upset and pulling out his 'Master & Pet' act on her. Who knows what he'd do to her if she didn't comply?

Right now, she had to obey and comply for the sake of surviving him.

"This house has a cosy fire place in the living room, a private office and a nice cosy library if you wish to do your homework or read anything that catches your interest..." Ethan explained in great detail as he showed her around warmly.

As she walked upon the wooden flooring, she noticed it made quite a creaky sound.

He next led her upstairs.

"So this will be your room here." He said.

Due to the strong winds, Kavyaa was startled by the loud sound of her windows opening up, thanks to the cold draft that crept in. She gasped out of fright at the sound of the fluttering windows banging against the wall harshly. Ethan easily went over and closed her windows locked. He shot her a warm smile.

"Looks like the wind is strong tonight."

The howling sounds of the wind didn't make her feel comfortable. She felt like she was trapped in some sort of scary horror movie with a villain out to get her.

"Where is your room?" she asked, trying to distract her attention from the howling wind outside.

"Why? Want to spend the night with me if you're too scared?" He teased making her roll eyes.

"Hahaha..not funny." She retorted in a sarcastic manner making him smirk.

The night carried on with her settling in whilst Ethan got busy with the phone calls that he took in his private office.

Kavyaa plopped down on her bed letting out a huge sigh.

Escaping him right under from under his roof wasn't going to be so easy.
