I couldn't be pregnant!

Zac didn't call me and didn't show up at my house, and it had been three days since it happened. I tried calling him on Friday and he didn't pick up, and when I called his house, Hadija said that her son had gone out. What could I expect from that meeting? After all, I was the one who suggested that they work it out, right?

I got out of the shower drying my hair, keeping my thoughts on everything that had happened over the last few days, and when I thought about the last few days, I remembered the kiss Harry had given me, I closed my eyes and sighed, trying to get rid of that strange feeling inside me. It was wrong, and as well as him being my friend, I was in a relationship with one of his friends too. I walk to my closet and only then notice that I'm not alone. I feel my whole body shiver and quickly turn around, bumping into my boyfriend, who is standing right behind me. How dare he do that? After disappearing for days and then appearing out of nowhere, as if nothing had happened?

“What are you doing here?” I ask seriously.

“We need to talk,” he says and I let out a laugh, going into the closet to put on some clothes. As soon as I've finished, I go back into the bedroom and cross my arms at him.

“Now Zac? Do you want to talk now?” I say, already feeling irritated "You disappear for three fucking days, you ignore my calls, my messages and you think you can just turn up out of the blue and say you want to talk?" I walk past him and he pulls on my arm, just like last time, Zac squeezes so hard that it hurts, I try to let go of his hand but he squeezes even harder.

“You need to listen to me, can you stop being so fucking stubborn?” he says rudely to me.

“Let me go now,” I pull my arm once more "You're hurting me Zac, let me go." I push his chest and pull my arm hard, holding the spot he squeezed, this time his fingerprints would be there.

“Forgive me, Cassy, I just want to talk to you and clear things up,” he says and, still nervous, I shake my head and walk over to my computer desk, sitting down in the chair.

“I can hear you,” I said and he nodded, sitting down on the end of my bed.

“I was going to come to you after talking to Mandy, but some things happened and I couldn't ignore them at all,” he begins ”As you can imagine, Mandy aborted the fetus and it had complications. She can no longer have children and today she regrets it very much,” he continued "I was never a fan of children, but I was willing to be a father, I wanted to be a father one day and she took that away from me," Zac took a deep breath and rested his arms on his knees ”But I confess I was relieved, Mandy and I were too immature to be parents. Well, after she told me everything, we got everything we needed out in the open and sorted things out.” I instantly looked up at him as I tried to understand that last sentence.

“So you...” he looks at me and understands what I mean.

“Oh, no!” I laugh ”I've forgiven her, we've made up but we're not getting closer. Mandy and I don't get on anymore, and now I have you, don't I?” I felt like crying right away, he still wanted me, he was there for me.

“But you disappeared for three days, Zac, without even saying anything to me,” I say quietly, feeling the tears coming down.

“I needed some time to sort everything out, especially with Ryan. I've spent the last few days with him,” he says, ”You have no idea how much I miss him, Cassy. Before everyone else, Ry was my best friend, my brother,” he takes a deep breath and approaches me, kneeling on the floor he holds my hands and looks firmly into my eyes ”Forgive me for disappearing, I was wrong to act like that but I didn't know how I would find you or how you were with everything you've heard. But now I'm here, I've come after my love, my girl, and I really hope you'll forgive me.” And there was no way I couldn't forgive him, he was right there with me and he meant it. I can't deny that I'm in love with him, and that this feeling is growing, Zac was the guy I needed at that moment, and despite the silly fights we have and the problems that accompany us, I still wanted him.

“Don't do this anymore, please. If you do, I won't accept your excuses anymore, and we'll end this relationship.” I said and he nodded quickly.

“All right, I promise,” he said and he took my lips in the next instant, Zac was voracious, he devoured me with his kisses alone. And deep down, I felt something bothering me, and I remembered other lips around mine, I remembered the touch and the moan that made me let go. Was it wrong that I felt that way about kissing my boyfriend, and thinking about my best friend? because if it was wrong, I couldn't even regret kissing Harry, I just felt strange that I was feeling confused about it.

In the end, Zac spent the rest of the day with me, we watched a few movies and had a good cuddle, with a silly hand and everything. When his mother called to ask him to pick up his father at the airport, we said goodbye with a quickie in the hallway where the bedrooms were. Minutes after he left, I took another shower and went to prepare something to eat. Alicia was on call and Austin would be spending the night with Kiley, so no home-cooked meals for me today, I was going to order a pizza and two hamburgers for myself because I was unusually hungry, and my stomach was begging for a good snack. Thirty minutes later the doorbell rings and I run to the door to pick up my orders, pay the delivery man and thank him.

I took everything to my room and turned on the TV, this time I was going to binge watch The 100 and nothing was going to stop me. Well, that's what I thought until I opened the pizza package and the smell bothered me right away, but I still tried to ignore it and took a huge bite out of a piece of my four-cheese pizza, and when I thought about swallowing it, I ran to the bathroom and threw it all out, kneeling on the floor with my head almost inside the toilet, dizziness overtaking me. I took a deep breath trying to recover and the feeling of craving came back again, I threw everything I had out, and it was making me weak, my whole body was shaking. In the next few minutes, when I felt better, I walked over to the sink and washed my face. I grabbed my toothbrush to get that damn bad taste out of my mouth, but when I opened the little box where the toothpaste was, something caught my eye. As soon as I put together the pieces of what had been happening to me for a while, and looked at that still unopened pink package, I felt my lungs run out of air and my vision blur.

It couldn't be real, it couldn't happen to me. Not now.

I dropped my brush on the floor and walked slowly back to my room. What would I do now? How would my parents react, how would Zac react after everything that had happened with Mandy?

This couldn't have happened, when was I so careless like that? When did I allow this to happen?

I couldn't be pregnant!
