Ignorance 2
Chapter 77: Ignorance 2
Kayla's pov
After breakfast, I went to my room. I ignored Louis, not wanting to talk to him after what Conrad had told me. Conrad had said that Louis was not to be trusted. I didn't know what to believe, but I decided to play it safe and keep my distance from him. I didn't want to make a mistake and get myself into trouble. I felt uneasy, not knowing what to do or who to trust.
I lay down on my bed, trying to relax. But my mind was racing, and I couldn't focus on anything. I kept thinking about Conrad and Louis, and I felt like I was stuck in the middle. I didn't know who to believe or what to do. I just wanted everything to go back to the way it was before, when everything was simple and uncomplicated. But I knew that was impossible.
I closed my eyes, willing myself to relax. I tried to take deep breaths, but my body was tense, and my mind was racing. I was afraid of what would happen next, and I felt powerless to control the situation. I felt trapped, like I was in a maze with no exit. I felt hopeless and alone.
I stood up from my bed and walked over to the window. I looked out, and my eyes landed on a beautiful garden. The garden was full of vibrant flowers, swaying gently in the breeze. The grass was a deep green, and the leaves on the trees were a rich, glossy green. It was a peaceful scene, and I felt a sense of calm come over me. I took a deep breath, letting the fresh air fill my lungs. I felt a little bit better, but I was still troubled by my situation.
I tried to sit down again, but I couldn't bring myself to relax. I felt restless, like I needed to move. I decided to take a walk around the garden, hoping that the fresh air and movement would help me clear my head. I opened the door and stepped outside, closing the door behind me
The sun was warm on my skin, and the air smelled sweet and fresh. I took a deep breath, taking in the scents of flowers and freshly cut grass. I started to walk around the garden, letting my feet guide me. I felt my mind begin to quiet, and I felt a sense of peace starting to settle over me. I noticed the details of the garden, the vibrant colors of the flowers, the intricate patterns of the leaves. It was a little paradise, and I felt myself relax even more.
As I continued to walk, I felt my body begin to loosen up. My shoulders relaxed, and I felt a weight lift from my chest.I kept walking, trying to clear my mind and let my thoughts come to me. After a while, I had an idea.
I sat down next to the water in the garden, letting the cool breeze brush over my skin. I closed my eyes and listened to the sounds of nature, the chirping of birds and the rustling of leaves. I felt myself beginning to relax, and I let myself sink into the moment. The sun was warm on my face, and I felt my worries begin to fade.
As I sat there, I began to feel more and more at peace. I took a deep breath, and I felt my body begin to unclench. My mind started to clear, and I felt a sense of calm wash over me. I sat there for a long time, enjoying the stillness and the warmth. I felt like I could stay there forever, lost in the moment.
I could feel the gentle breeze on my skin, and I could hear the leaves rustling above me. The sun was warm, but not too hot, and the light played across my eyelids. The grass was soft beneath me, and I could smell the sweet scent of flowers. I felt connected to the earth, as if I was a part of the natural world. It was a feeling of peace and contentment, unlike anything I had ever felt before.
I opened my eyes and stood up, stretching my arms above my head. I felt renewed, as if I had taken a long nap. I felt energized and focused, ready to take on whatever came my way. I knew that my kids were the most important thing, and I was determined to be the best parent I could be. I walked back to the mansion, the doors creaking open as I entered. I felt a surge of determination, ready to face whatever challenges might come.
I headed for the stairs, but then I heard a familiar voice. I stopped, listening closely. It was Louis, and he sounded upset. I hesitated for a moment, but then I decided to keep going. I knew that if I got caught up in whatever was going on, I would lose my focus. So I took a deep breath and continued up the stairs.
I turned on the water, adjusting the temperature until it was just right. I stepped into the shower, and the hot water hit my skin, sending a shiver up my spine. I closed my eyes, letting the water wash over me. I could feel the stress and tension leaving my body, carried away by the water. I reached for the soap, inhaling the scent of lavender. I lathered up, enjoying the feeling of being clean and refreshed.
I turn on the shower, and the water begins to flow. I step under the water, and it's warm and soothing. I close my eyes, and I focus on the feeling of the water hitting my skin. It's as if I'm being washed clean, not just of dirt, but of stress and worry. I feel my body relaxing, and my mind begins to quiet. I feel calm and peaceful.
