Chapter127
The moment the door opened, Stella froze and her face paled involuntarily. It was a terrible thing to see Douglas' creepy smile. She finally realized she was in danger.
"Don't come any closer to me!" Stella cried out for help as she ran toward the room, but despite her loud shouting, it only increased Douglas's aggressiveness.
"There is no way your husband can save you today. Stella, just accept it. I've been waiting for this day for a long time." Douglas laughed as he approached Stella and slowly removed his own clothes.
Stella realized that things were far from good and that the consequences could be worse than she thought, so she resisted desperately.
Douglas grabbed her hands so hard that she let out a heartrending cry. Douglas ripped off her clothes roughly and a large part of her body was exposed at once.
"How exquisite!" Douglas said with a smile as one of his hands covered in tattoos stroked Stella's body repeatedly.
Stella was so frightened that she cried out loudly and her body kept trembling.
"Douglas, please let me go. Jeremiah will kill you if he gets to know about this." Stella was crying as she tried to threaten Douglas and get him to let her go.
Douglas suddenly flew into a passion when he heard Stella's words. He began to rip off Stella's clothes in a frenzy and then raped Stella, which lasted for an hour.
Stella was in a daze. Both her mental state and physical condition were deeply stricken. She lay on the floor staring at the ceiling with her dull eyes as her whole world went dark.
Douglas was gone. He left the scene of his crime quickly with the thrill of revenge, leaving only a mess in his wake.
Jeremiah, who was at the arena, had gotten word from his parents. His gaze became very frightening while he was suppressing his anger. He flattened his opponent extremely fast. The man in front of him did not know that his opponent had become extraordinarily scary and that he was about to become a poor punching bag.
Jeremiah returned home and was heartbroken and angry at the sight of his injured wife. Stella defended herself like a hedgehog, unwilling to talk to Jeremiah. Jeremiah lost his mind and went straight to Douglas' house.
"Jeremiah, you're back. I have some good news to share with you. Guess what, Stella's body is perfect." Douglas laughed and sneered at Jeremiah.
"Bastard!" Jeremiah angrily swung his fist at Douglas and slammed it hard into Douglas' face.
Douglas' face was grim but he still laughed and mocked Jeremiah.
"Do you dare to kill me?" Douglas looked at Jeremiah with a look of disdain, despite the fact that his face had been beaten badly.
Jeremiah controlled the strength he used intentionally because he had to consider Douglas' father, the Alpha, in this territory. As long as nothing vital happened in the territory, everything could be defused.
Douglas's provocation irritated Jeremiah and he couldn't help but hit Douglas harder. Douglas was unable to breathe from the pain and he wailed loudly, "Bastard, are you crazy? My father won't let you go!"
Jeremiah ignored his howls, his eyes sharpening, the fire of revenge eating away at his sanity. "Stop it, Jeremiah," said Stella, who had finally come out after staying home recovering from her injuries. Jeremiah had not seen her for a few days and found her more haggard than ever. Stella came to Douglas's house, knowing that things had turned out to be irreversible. She hated Douglas but did not want Jeremiah to risk his life for it. Werewolves who tried to kill each other would receive severe punishment and would even have to pay with their lives.
"Stella, you're here." Jeremiah's eyes slowly regained a glimmer of clarity. He threw Douglas aside on the ground and hugged Stella tightly.
Douglas lay on the ground, breathing heavily as he stared at the two of them with resentment. He pulled out a dagger from somewhere and roused himself up to stab Jeremiah.
Stella's face turned pale when she saw it. Seeing that the point of the knife was getting closer and closer, she pushed Jeremiah away and defended him from the knife, but the dagger was stained with poison. Stella's breath was getting weaker. Jeremiah had completely transformed into a wolf by this time and his rage erupted like a volcano in his heart. The dagger, stained with poison, was thrust into Douglas' heart and Douglas looked at Jeremiah in disbelief. He could not believe that Jeremiah actually killed him and tore him apart alive.
Jeremiah returned home with Stella in his arms.
He ran away with his parents and even killed two vicious humans on the way, thus causing the attention of the human police to the werewolves.
Douglas's father was extremely infuriated because of Douglas's death. He announced in the whole pack to pursue Jeremiah and the whole werewolf territory in San Francisco received the relevant news. Meanwhile, the human police department was catching and investigating the werewolves in the surrounding area because of the death of the two humans, temporarily allowing Jeremiah to have a short period of peace, but this did not hinder his intention to leave San Francisco. Jeremiah was ready to leave the place for some time.
On the cliff, Jeremiah looked in the direction of San Francisco and seemed to be able to see a family there. If he was right, Bella and Aiden should be having a happy dinner right now.
Speaking of Bella, when Jeremiah first met her, she had been a girl who liked to go to bars, who was both rebellious and lovable. Jeremiah had seen Stella in her, but at that time he was still on the run when he could not get to know the girl but could only offer her help secretly and chase away the harassers around her, but he did not expect that it was Aiden who had finally gotten the girl.
If time could be turned back, Jeremiah wished he could go back to that summer night.
It was always cooler in the evening during the summer and the boredom could be much relieved by that.
Jeremiah hated summer but loved the summer nights because it had also been summertime when he had first met Stella.
