My anger with Darmac still burned in my chest but all I felt now was a mixture of anger, jealousy and possessiveness. Seeing Matthew standing casually with a cup on his hands, sipping it slowly and a slow smirk on his face.

Seeing him reminded me of what happened the evening before when I saw him touch what belongs to me. This wasn't me tjinkin, I knew that. This was the Raze Amber had formed, Zane could testify how different I have been throughout her stay.

Matthew was a very good and outstanding warrior, heck I even made him the head of my army, I trusted him but I didn't trust his ability to woo a woman and for the first time I felt really protective. I have never felt this way for anyome, not even Brenda.

"Hey Alpha you're here." He greeted raising his cup with a smile that didn't reach his eyes.

I nodded, my eyes narrowed coldly on his figure and be prepared a place for me to sit. He's acting totally oblivious to the fact that I had been staring at him all through without saying a word.

"Are you going to say anything?" The meaningless word came out from my mouth before I could stop it.

"What did you say?" His eyes widened and he shrugged. "You are the alpha, you do want you want. Have a sit."

His level of ignorance or feigned ignorance ticked off, I couldn't help but jump right at it slamming my hands on table for effecfs without sitting. "I saw you yesterday, the way you looked at her."

His eye movement stopped for a second and he raised a brow at me. "Her? Who?" He paused before recalling. "Your sweet little girl. Never seen such before." He said casually taking a regular sip from his drink.

I fisted my hands on the table and my tone though dangerously low. "Don't call her that. She is mine and mine alone."

He paused before breaking out into a feat of infuriating chuckles, choking in the process. His eyes regarded me for a while. "But she isn't your mate. She has a mate already a man already…you know."

I flared. "Don't you dare say that again." The damned mate hit my woman such a man doesn't deserve to live, I'd make sure I end his sorry life when I get the chance to.

"Say what?" He feigned innocence.

I growled."Don't fucking play me Matthew."

"You of all know who I am, every new chick excites me."

I kept my anger in check, I was the Alpha but Matthew held power in the pack as well, I couldn't go in an open brawl with him causing an internal conflict. "Then I am telling you as the Alpha, stay away from Amber."

He scoffed. "What difference does it make? At the end you fucking dump them and move the next wolf that excites you." His eyes seemed strain, this sounded really wrong coming from a man that is mated not just any woman but one of our beauties in this pack, Carmen.

I have known all alomg, he didn't live Carmen one bit, if he did he won't be bothered about who I sleep with or not.

"You have a mate." I stated pointedly. "Carmen is such of s lovely lady, but you are not good for her."

"I agree with you." He paused and looked at me.

"Does she know?"

"Know what?" He raised a brow. "That I sleep around?"

My stare gave him the hint, he gave me a disbelieving look seeing my silence as a pass to go on.

"The least kid in this pack knows who I am dear Alpha." He smirked, leaning lazily on his chair.

I was so done with this.

"I am not cool with the way you held and looked at her." I said cutting the chase. "It passed your signal you know."

"Oh that, can't blame me for admiring such a delicate beauty."

"Shut the fuck up Matthew, I won't take this from you." I paused. "If you feel she was just a chick then so be it, she is my chick and you have no right to toy with what's mine."

He rolled his eyes, got up lazily and fiddled with some sandwich ingredients. Matt was also one of my trusted men, despite our differences I trust him a lot concerning a whole lot of things.

"Whatchu gon do with Brenda? She's back you know." He glanced from the counter.

I sighed."I just have to put her in her place, I don't need her anymore."

He smiled. "As usual, dump when you don't have any use for them."

I said nothing and focused on the liquid I drank, my mind roamed about. I don't have much time, I have to do it as soon as I can, seems I'll have much trouble if I don't make her mine.

"Got anything doing? Wanna chill out?"

I softly declined. "A council meeting starts in ten minutes."

"Sure." He said. "Our training starts soon. Taking a break, Amber pulled her off before I could see her."

I stood, patting his left shoulder with my hand. "Good man, we maintain our territories and we're good. I think you should give loving Carmen a chance." I said before strotting out of the room.

Darmac stood in the hallway, his eyes focused on his phone. When he noticed my presence he gave me small scowl.

"That isn't the way to look at your Alpha man." My eyes turned cold and narrowed down at him, they seemed to have forgotten how ruthless I am. "I'll order Matthew to give you your punishment for you disrespectful speech this afternoon. Don't try that again or I'd do it myself."

Shock marred his face and I patted his shoulder before walking of.
