Chapter 170

Adara POV

I couldn't contain my joy and relief as we celebrated our victory. Seeing George safe and sound, and Vill rescued and brought to us, was the best feeling in the world. The people of the Waterfall Pack were ecstatic, and we all came together to rejoice in our triumph.

We danced and sang, our voices echoing through the forest. I hugged George and Vill tightly, tears of happiness streaming down my face. We had done it, we had saved Vill and defeated Malachi's soldiers.

The pack's energy was electric, our bond stronger than ever. We had stood together and fought for what was right, and we had emerged victorious. I looked around at my packmates, my heart full of love and gratitude.

In this moment, I knew that we were unstoppable. We would continue to fight for our freedom and our way of life, and we would always stand together, no matter what challenges lay ahead. The celebration continued late into the night, our joy and laughter filling the forest.

I called for silence, my voice commanding attention from my soldiers. "This victory is just the beginning," I told them, my eyes scanning the crowd. "We must be prepared, for our pack can be detected soon. We need to be ahead of the game, to anticipate Malachi's next move."

My soldiers nodded, their faces set with determination. I could see the fire in their eyes, the desire to protect our pack and our way of life.

With that, I dismissed them, and headed to the meeting hall. Vill, George, Jameson, and a few of our captains were already gathered, their faces grave with concern.

"We need to discuss our next move," I said, taking my place at the head of the table. "We can't let our guard down, not even for a moment."

Vill spoke up, her voice firm. "I agree, Adara. We need to be proactive, to take the fight to Malachi's doorstep."

George nodded, his eyes gleaming with determination. "I'm with Vill. We can't let him dictate the terms of this war."

Jameson spoke up, his voice measured. "We need to gather intelligence, to know Malachi's movements and plans."

I nodded, my mind racing with strategy. "I agree, Jameson. We need to be smart, to outmaneuver Malachi at every turn."

The meeting continued, our discussion intense and focused. We knew that the road ahead would be fraught with danger, but we were ready. We would fight to the end, for our pack, our freedom, and our very lives.

Immediately after the meeting we all dismissed and I called Vill whose excitement is undeniable. I know that there's much I need to ask her. But this is not the right time, we're in the middle of mess.

I turned to Vill, my eyes locked on hers. "Vill, do you know anything about the Sword of Truth and the Book of Revelation?" I asked, my voice low and urgent.

Vill's expression turned serious. "Yes, Adara. The Sword of Truth is in the Darkmoon Pack, and the Book of Revelation is also kept by Malachi's ancestors."

My heart raced at the revelation. "Is there any way we can find them first?" I asked, my mind racing with possibilities.

Vill's face was grim. "I wish I could suggest a way, Adara, but the risk is too great. The Darkmoon Pack is heavily guarded, and Malachi's ancestors are not to be trifled with. Going there would be suicide."

I nodded, my mind working overtime. I knew Vill was right, but I also knew that we couldn't give up. We had to find a way, no matter the risk.

"Let's think about it, Vill," I said finally. "There has to be a way. We just need to find it.”

I looked at Vill with determination. "Find a way, Vill. If we can know the exact location, we have to risk it to get it first. We can't let Malachi's ancestors keep it from us."

Vill's eyes narrowed in thought. She was silent for a long moment, her mind working overtime. Finally, she spoke up.

"Adara, I think I have an idea. If we can connect our spirits together, we might be able to find the location. Our ancestors used to do it, share their knowledge and power through the spirit bond."

I leaned in, my heart racing with excitement. "How do we do it?"

Vill's eyes locked on mine. "We need to meditate together, focus our energy and spirits. If we're lucky, we might get a vision or a sense of the location."

I nodded, my mind made up. "Let's do it. We have to try.”

I  sat cross-legged on the ground, my eyes closed, my spirit reaching out to Vill's. I could feel her energy, her power, and her determination. Together, we focused our minds, our spirits entwining like vines on a trellis.

The air around us seemed to vibrate with an otherworldly energy. I felt myself being pulled into a vision, a glimpse of the past. I saw Malachi's ancestors, their faces grave and determined, hiding something precious, something powerful.

My eyes snapped open, and I looked at Vill. "I saw it," I whispered. "The Book of Revelation and the Sword of Truth. They're hidden in Malachi's castle, in a single hole underground."

Vill's eyes widened, her face set with determination. "Let's go," she said, her voice barely audible.

We rose to our feet, our spirits still connected, our hearts pounding with excitement and fear. We knew that retrieving the Book and the Sword would be a dangerous task, but we were ready. We had to be.

Together, we made our way to Malachi's castle, our spirits guiding us, our hearts filled with hope and determination.

As we returned from the spirit realm, our eyes opened to the familiar surroundings of our pack's den. But our minds were still reeling from the vision we had shared. We knew that retrieving the Book of Revelation and the Sword of Truth wouldn't be easy. Malachi's castle was notoriously well-protected, its spells and charms legendary for their strength.

"We need to be careful," Vill said, her voice barely above a whisper. "The spells protecting Malachi's castle are no joke."

I nodded, my mind racing with strategy. "We'll need to gather a team, our strongest and most skilled warriors. And we'll need to come up with a plan to breach the castle's defenses."

Vill's eyes locked on mine, her expression grim. "We can do this, Adara. We have to."

I nodded, my heart filled with determination. "We will. Together, we'll get the Book and the Sword, and we'll take down Malachi once and for all."

But as we spoke, I couldn't shake the feeling that we were in for the fight of our lives. The spells protecting Malachi's castle were legendary for a reason, and we were about to find out just how strong they were.
