Chapter 170 Visitation Of The Goddess
Chapter 186
Lyra's POV.
My rooms suddenly illuminated in the middle of the night. The intensity was huge, big enough to make someone blind.
I sprang up. I knew this wasn't ordinary. It was divine. The greenish light had spread across the room and crawled on my skin. I didn't fret. I knew what it meant. I knew who had come visiting.
I sat up straight on my bed. I reached out for my night gown. As I try to squint my eyes from the intense light penetrating my vision. But I couldn't. I had to buried my face in between my legs.
Daughter of the goddess!” The word echoed into me. My heart vibrated.
No single words came out of my lips. I flattened my lips. I knew she was here to give a message. Or encourage me the way she had always been doing.
Daughter of thrones of the holy ones.” She repeated again, the intensity of her voice vibrating through the room. To the extent, it shook my bed.
The breeze blew into the room. Pages of my books and scroll were flipped upon due to the strange wave of breeze that had entered my room. The curtain of my room wasn't left out, the breeze blew them in different directions like a disturbed lily on the surface of water.
It's time to come back home… your time is up …”
The words vibrated into my eardrum . I squeezed my brow. I couldn't open my eyes in the direction of the light.
Noo…ooo. Never …” I muttered under my breath. My time is not up ….”
I managed to speak.
“I have not finished my business with all of them that caused my death in my first life… I have not started with Rosa? What about Alpha Vexhood? You want him to go unscathed. You want him to go unpunished. No… never… if they have to seek forgiveness for their sins… let it be far away from them…”
Your past wounds bleed and your pain speaks through it… thread gently … so that they would not turn you into a monster and you wouldn't lose your home…”
I wouldn't lose anything, mother, just give me time."
You have it daughter but don't say I didn't warn you…"
Her voice echoed. I nodded.
Then the light began to shrink through the wall. Until it disappears into the air.
The room settled back into normal. The breeze suddenly died down.
I looked at the wall clock on the wall. It's two a.m.
I went back to bed. I knew the second phase of my existence had been switched on.
The morning tickled fast as I walked into Rosa's room.
My queen here is your tea!” I carried the tray in my right hand.
Rosa looked at me amazed, like you reading my mind, I have been having a bit of headache this morning,”
You just need to relax, you have been stressing yourself so much…”
I watched as she took a glass of hot tea from hand.
She held her jaw tight as she felt a sharp pang of pain.
Ouch!.. did you add anything inside…”
No… your honor , I only added your favourite. I added lemon with cinnamon…”
I walked out of the room. On my way outside. I met the prison chief… walked past me.
He turned as I walked majestically past him. He quickly turned, watching my backside. I didn't have to look at the back. You will know when someone was looking at you when you don't have to look back.
He turned and headed back to Rosa's quarters.
I had walked out of the quarters when something told me to walk back and check on Rosa.
I didn't walk, and nor did I tiptoed.
Let me have my gold!”
Your gold is gone. I told you it is going to be risky… the king would call me now and don't know what to say…. If you press me this further I will tell him are the one that sent those wolves that were shut…”
“You can't tell me that… my gold is not gone you will return it back to me … I know you are joking! But if you think you want to be smart I will let Ryder know about everything you have been doing!”
Go ahead, you honor … I think I will have to leave you now…”
He was heading out when I quickly hurried my footsteps out of the terrace to the point that I almost fell on the ground.
I know what to do.
I think I will drop a unanimous note about this. If Jax likes to let him act or if he doesn't, that is a problem to deal with.
