My Female, Mine

**A/N: Long chappy ahead! Enjoy :D**

The day he left, the sky had opened her soul and wept. The rain pounded the earth whilst the cold eerie fog loomed over the pack, a bad sign it showed us. It came as a big surprise for a storm brew in mid-summer and that itself brought fear into our hearts.

The main gate that looked too big for me once upon a time, seemed small only allowing out those going for war the others disallowed to leave and forced to stay in. I did not sleep the previous night staring at the moon with a gut-wrenching fear that crept up my spine. It sank its fangs into my flesh digging deep spreading its venom that flooded me from within.

The night was quiet yet if one listened closely they could hear the mourning of females who were preparing to throw the wolves they held close to their hearts directly into the pit of death. It was that feeling of uncertainty that struck us all. Whether we shall be blessed with their presence or shall never lay our eyes upon them again.

The Deimos I evaded like the plague, I looked for him. Keeping my eyes on him wherever he went I made sure he spent enough time with Kal. A smile would creep up my lips that I would hide from his eyes when he spoke to the young ones of the pack. Yet the second my eyes fled from him, his would land upon my flesh. It was a secret game of catch we played.

Whilst the grey sky added to the gloominess and sorrow we felt inside that day, the warriors clutched their females tightly to their chests. Mothers, daughters, mates. I had put my walls up whilst he was bare. His eyes were always on me, when the elders bid their farewells or when the warriors spoke to him.

As the engines of the trucks roared to life, my heart sank into deep stinky waters. As the weapons were loaded, my body swayed. My mouth shut I hadn't uttered a word to any wolf holding them deep inside. My emotions were wild and mourning within me but I did not show it for as their Luna I needed to be strong and stand tall so that they could lean on me.

As I held Kal that early morning I struggled to breathe, my male merely four months may never see his father again. Is this what our lives are meant to be was what I kept thinking. When everything was set, among the wails of the females he walked towards me.

His eyes on the pup in my arms, each step he took made me shiver. Anxiety, nervousness, pain. I had several emotions fighting for control within me. Bending down placing his cheek upon Kal's he nudged him softly as my male gargled and laughed and he earned a soft smile from his father.

"Be good, my male." He whispered voice achingly low almost a painful whisper.

His eyes snapped to mine and I held in my breath whilst I waited for his words or actions. He offered me a curt nod of acknowledgement perhaps thinking it was what I wished for him and swiftly turned to head back to the truck. I remember that moment for my heart sunk even deeper and his action had pained me.

But his steps halted mid path as if he had changed his mind or lost an inner conflict and he turned back to me, eyes met my drowning yearning ones.

He strode back to me, pace heavy and rushed eyes focussed with purpose. As he stood that day in front of me he took a deep breath and grabbed my hidden trembling hand in his and drew it to his lips. With closed eyes, he placed a deep small kiss upon my flesh thumb gently soothing the skin. His action had comforted me yet added fuel to the fire of my fear.

"I shall return to you in twelve days, this I promise." The last of his words whispered to me. With one final glance, at Kal and me he had left disappearing into the relentless fog.

But that promise of his was broken for he did not return in twelve days. He hadn't returned for a month now and I go insane with fear each day. Sleep starved I wait for him to return, for the trucks to come barging in through the gates. If he were on a trip meant for another matter I would call him but this was different, this was war.

"Alpha there is no use staring out the window every morning." Elriam whispers startling me from behind holding a cup of steaming tea meant for me in her hands. I was so engrossed with my waiting that I failed to notice her presence. "I would inform you first if some of our scouts have received news."

"I feel uneasy. Something is not right." I reply to her leaning my cheek against the window peering outside scanning the area. "He said twelve days. That has passed already and he has not sent any wolf back regarding what had happened."

"I understand, Alpha." She says.

"What if he is harmed? What if he is unconscious?" Anxiety bubbles up within me my heart pounding whilst my mind delivers thoughts of him when he was in a coma. It has grown to become a trauma to me that when war is mentioned all I can think of is him lying in bed as if he were truly dead.

"Did you feel anything, Alpha?" She questions as I turn my weary gaze back at her.

"Nothing. And that is what scares me the most for it is not a good sign." I whisper. If I at least feel him in physical pain I would know he breathes. My fingers tap the wooden table continuously whilst my mind formulates a plan. I must do something, I had waited but waiting brings no outcome.

"Whatever you are thinking of please do know I am against it." Elriam is quick to dive in with her truth for she knows me very well. She knows what is to be my next move.

"I waited, Elriam. I waited for a month." I reason with her.

"And perhaps you can wait for more. It is not safe, Alpha." She says pushing the fresh cup of tea closer to me.

"If you think this tea is going to make me calm down and halt my decisions, you are so very wrong." I mutter beneath my breath my accusing eyes meet her cunning eyes.

"Please it is not a good idea to put yourself in harm's way and what about the little one?" She implores me her eyes begging me not to do what it is I am thinking.

We stare at each other for a while a small wordless battle between us. "Call Cronus." I briskly break the silence only for her to shut her eyes in defeat.

"Alpha!" She calls out to me her voice raising not in a commanding way but in pleading.

"Perhaps I am putting a lot at risk but I must bring my male's father back safe and sound. It is my duty, Elriam." I say.

"Will you be doing this merely out of duty? Are you doing this as a Luna of this pack or a mate?" Her questions catch me off guard whilst my eyes widen. Digging my nails into the material of my shirt I keep my eyes away from her searching ones.

"Must I answer that?" I ask my voice softening almost questioning. Questioning that surges within myself.

I am met by her silence. I know she wishes nothing but happiness for me and I know her question was not for the future of this pack but mine. "I shall call Alpha Cronus." She says not wanting to indulge further knowing I do not wish for it.

She is quick to call him fetching her phone from her jeans pocket. I wonder if Cronus knows about this war that was quick to come to our pack. She hands me the phone that I take swiftly holding it over my right ear.

"Elriam." Cronus's deep voice strikes through after a few rings.

"Cronus." I greet him.

"Lumina!" He calls my name with a chuckle the seriousness in his voice quickly dying replaced with an energetic friendliness.

"I need your help." I am quick with my words, heading straight to the point. I am not shy or uncomfortable with him. He is my family.

"What happened?" His voice turns low and hollow the sound of the chair screeching against the floor tells me he has risen from his seat to hear me.

"Deimos has not returned for a month. I am dwelling in fear, I do not know what to do." I whisper unknowingly bringing the phone closer to my lips.

"The war, yes? Deimos informed me before he left."

"I am afraid, Cronus. I cannot bear another repeat of what happened in the past. I asked him who would protect him. He said himself! What if he is in a position where he cannot do so? What if he is in a position where he is calling out to me but I cannot hear him?" I struggle to breathe just from the thoughts of it.

"I understand, Luna. I thought he had returned already but I had an inkling this was bound to happen. That pack does not come under his rule, they will not bend to his authority. His pheromones would not affect them for they are similar to rogues. I knew it shall be a hard fight for him." Cronus's words add to my anxiety and I am quick to stand up as well leaving my position of comfort.

"I wish to go there. I wish to help him." I say. Elriam shakes her head non stop in disapproval her eyes pleading with me again. My safety is all that matters to her, she trusts in Deimos's strength.

"Lumina, it is not a regular pack. Your pack possesses the best warriors of all, they would have been able to handle it."

"Then why is he not here! It has been a month, I am not delaying this any longer. Please Cronus, help me." My hands tremble as I dig my nails into the flesh of my palms. The more he speaks of this pack the more the need to go fires up. I was unaware of this, my mind has been elsewhere. If I were a regular Luna I would stay put as I was told to but that is not who I am.

Silence consumes us and I know he is debating. He is on a rope with two ends, he needs to make a choice. Each choice has its own risk. Either I shall be harmed or Deimos is or shall be harmed.

"I shall send my warriors to help him but I need something in return." Cronus utters. He was making a deal. This was not the kind of help I was looking for I wanted him to come with me, yet it possessed the capability to work.

"What do you need?" I ask.

"For you to stay back home." He declares. He is sly with his words and his ways but I take heed to it for I need his warriors' strength. If it were Deimos he would not make such a deal with me for he would know I would not follow through. The thought brings a quick smile to my face.

"Thank you." I whisper. He is sending his warriors to death and he is doing it merely because I asked him. He is a good male, a good brother to Deimos and a good friend to me.

"Your answer, Lumina."

"I shall. I shall stay back." A whispered lie I tell him. Perhaps he can forgive me later on. He would understand me when he finds his mate. The bond that shall bound him and leave him breathless. The bond that shall tie him to his female where he would take each and every risk to protect her. He will understand.

As soon as our conversation ends and we bid farewell to each other my eyes are turned to the awaiting anxious Elriam.

"Help me slip away without the pack knowing." I tell her quickly running into the room with my beta hot on my heels. Pulling open the cupboard I grab a bag painted with the colour of ash.

"This is not a good idea." She says from behind me, her eyes glancing at my male lying upon the bed held by deep slumber.

"I know. But the matter leaves me with no choice." I reply whilst walking around the house picking up the supplies I need. Water, food, clothing...knives.

"But-" She begins to protest whilst I stop her with a raise of my palm. My fiery eyes turn to look at her.

"Elriam listen to me. This can go two ways, I may be too early or I may be too late. I prefer the first option." My voice low with a serious depth to it, our eyes meet as I wait for her patiently to contemplate the meaning of my words.

It takes a while for the spark of understanding to light up in her eyes. She gives me a curt nod of acknowledgement as I thank her with a quick smile.

"Kal drinks from the bottle, I taught you how to make his milk." I whisper to her who thrusts more packaged food into my bag. An older female of the pack had advised me three weeks ago that I can begin switching to formula if he takes it well and Kal indeed did.

Grabbing a shawl covering my hair and face so only my eyes remain bare to sight. If the pack knows I am leaving they shall see it as a negative sign leading to assumptions that shall merely cause unwanted chaos and devastation. If that pack finds me they may use me as bait. I need to be careful with my actions.

"Yes, Alpha."

"You are in charge whilst I am gone, find ways to calm the fire of curiosity that shall rise within the pack to my absence. Keep the scouts on the lookout, I may send a wolf back to you with news. Do not take your eyes off my male, hold him as if he is yours." As I run around the house with my quick actions my mouth spills non stop commands to her which she takes in with her hands clasped behind her back, head high and feet held apart. A warrior's stance.

"I understand." She says her voice booming and strong yet I see the fight in her eyes. She is unsure of my decision, now it is her turn to hold the immense fear I held.

I throw a pile of my unwashed clothes into her hands which she catches with ease. "If my male cries for me, wear these clothes and hold him. These clothes still hold my scent and shall calm him." My commanding voice manifests into a whisper as I near him to place a soft kiss on his cheek. He flinches but continues to sleep. "I shall bring your father back home."

Tightening the knot of the shawl at the back of my neck grabbing the bag holding it over my shoulder I give Elriam a curt nod of farewell. The fact that my house was not close to the pack lands came to my advantage and I am able to slip out with no wolf's interference.

As if the moon aided me with my decision only one truck remained, a truck meant for me to use for the warriors had taken the rest. Cronus had informed me that he would send his warriors right away. I need to be there when they arrive. Scanning the back of the truck finding several petrol jars that shall last for the ride to the war I grip the steering wheel tighter. Starting the engine, determination set free allowed to reign I drive away from my pack.

Five days, it took me five days to reach the independent pack lands. Five days of staring at the crumpled map, five days of sleeping in the tiny space at the back of the truck. Five days of taking baths in the cold streams and five days of hunting birds, frogs and wild hares.

The further I came closer to the final destination the more my surroundings changed. It became eerie and silent, wilder and less welcoming and calming. I left the truck far from the lands and went by foot the rest of the way. I held my wolf within me bounded in her cage for if she tore out of me the wolves would have recognized her scent. My body was covered in river mud that I smudged all over to hide my scent.

It was a difficult path of observing, crawling and hiding to get to their main base even searching for perhaps a camp set up by Deimos. I saw no bodies, I saw no blood. I did not understand, nothing made sense so I chose to do what looked like the best choice at the moment. I stayed put. I stayed at the same place hiding behind the shadows of the bushes for the entire day until the sun bled into darkness.

The sound of low chatter arises and I startle mind on alert quickly sitting up I peek through the leaves. Scanning the area two wolves sit upon a cut tree bark and speak between themselves. If I can fight and bound them perhaps I can get some answers. It is the quickest way and the easiest.

Picking up the knives gripping them tightly I crouch ready preparing my tactics for the attack. Once ready I make my move, it needs to be as quiet and swift as possible. As I begin to get up from my position a hand is thrust forward from behind to clamp over my mouth pulling me backwards with force.

Eyes widening I swing the knife in my hand aiming backwards one fluid thrust has the blade strike deep into the wolf's flesh. He grunts but his left hand around my waist only tightens as he pulls me further back away from the bushes, away from my safety.

He pulls me further into darkness and I struggle in his grasp kicking and scratching, I extract the knife from his flesh and he curses loudly but before I could strike him again he shoves me onto a tree elbow propelled into my neck. As my wavering vision comes back and begins to focus I stare at the male in front of me with surprise.

"Cronus?"

"Lumina." He says my name with a fury that spills out of him. His chest heaves whilst his burning gaze meet mine. His right palm adds pressure to the wound I gave him as blood gushes freely.

"I am sorry!" I shriek. Opening my bag taking out one of the used shirts I give it to him as he takes it to wipe his bloody hand and places it over his cut.

"What are you doing here? You broke our deal." He says his voice low with soft growls leaving his chest. He is furious demanding his rightful explanation. He stands in front of me dressed similarly to me a shawl that covers his face, I can only see his eyes.

"I had to. He is my mate, Cronus." I reply eyes scanning our surrounding. There seems to be no wolf present but us two. Where are his warriors? Did he come alone?

"Do you realize the risk you took? The harm that would have come your way?" He pushes me deeper into the tree as I meet with the wrath of his fury.

"I was doing good. I have observed quite a lot. I was going to gather more information from the two wolves -"

"There weren't merely two wolves, Lumina! There was plenty present hidden waiting for the wolf that shall come to be used as bait." He declares the truth as I stand caught off guard in front of him. I was sure there were only two I had scanned the area well.

"H-How do you know that?" I question whilst Cronus sighs. A low whistle leaves his lips and in a second several of his warriors come forward from the shadows. They are all dressed in black and some in dark green making it easier for them to hide.

"We practice camouflage. We converse through whistles and sounds. My warriors are the best at this." He replies finally releasing me from his hold. His anger towards me still simmers beneath surface and I find it quite interesting to see him upset for this is the first time I have seen it.

"Deimos. Have you seen him? Do you know where he is?" I capture the material of his shirt in my hands pulling him towards me my fearful questioning eyes meeting his. Cronus tilts his head whilst he gazes down at me and shuts his eyes in understanding.

"I do know where he is." He replies.

"Take me. Take me to him." I plead as he seeks my truth held deep beneath my eyes.

"I will if you promise me you will leave as soon as daylight breaks. I shall assign one of my warriors to take you home." He says waiting for my answer.

"I will. I will leave, I promise. Once I know of his well being I shall leave. Take me to him, Cronus."

He gives me a curt nod of acknowledgement and moves his eyes to a warrior behind me. The male walks forth and bows deeply to me. "This wolf shall take you. If I see you still present here tomorrow morning I shall seek retribution for breaking my deal the hard way. Do you understand me, Lumina?" Cronus asks whilst his witching green eyes glare at me.

"Yes, I understand. Thank you, Cronus. I mean it." I whisper and with one final glance at him, I follow the warrior who leads me another way far from pack lands to a more hidden private area.

The warrior possesses an axe in his hands that he uses to strike down thickly grown plants that block our way. He makes the path easier and on the way, he ties pieces of white string around the branches as a sign to find the way back. I wonder how Cronus and his warriors found Deimos. What kind of techniques did they use for it is difficult to find them merely with scents as it is a dense forest that hides smells.

"We are almost there, Luna Lumina." The warrior's gruff voice brings me back from my thoughts. I begin to notice several things, red paint at the roots of the trees or how I feel movement all around me yet there is no wolf in sight. These are the doings of my pack's wolves and a sense of pride and comfort looms within me for now I know I am truly safe.

As we head further into the density my eyes find light, rather fire burning on wood sticks in a circle with several tents huddled together inside. My warriors who are seated immediately get up with wide eyes and bow deep. I return their greetings with a soft smile and nods of acknowledgement.

My eyes find a large red tent in the middle and I am quickly aware of his presence. Before I could think I run, my heart pounding beneath my rib cage. Tearing open the flaps of the tent I find a droopy naked Deimos upon a folding bed with nylon straps.

Ragon who sits on a chair by the bed arises shocked by my presence. "Luna." He greets me.

"Luna? Luna who? My Luna or your Luna? Only I possess a Luna so Lumina?" Deimos speaks words I do not understand his eyes unfocused and wavering. He squints his eyes to have a look at my flesh as if checking if it were truly me. What is wrong with him?

His upper body is covered with several bandages yet he still bleeds, his wounds are fresh and deep. His lower body is covered by a thin velvet blanket where he is kept warm by a small fire burning in the middle of the room.

The tent is dark, the only light born through the fire. "Deimos." I whisper running to him sitting upon the bed analyzing his wounds.

"We were ambushed when Alpha and I were scouting. Their target had been Alpha Deimos, not our pack." Ragon speaks.

"Why him? Why is it always him?" I ask my words shrieked out my fury rising.

"He has always been a target from the day he was born. He possesses the power and fortune that every Alpha wishes for. If they kill him what he owns becomes theirs. This cycle shall never end until Alpha kills them all." Ragon explains a sadness lingering in the depths of his eyes.

"My female is here. Come, I wish to hold you." Deimos laughs red-rimmed eyes gleaming at me his arms open wide. He welcomes me.

"What is wrong with him?" I question confused by his antics.

"They struck him with silver, his wounds were not healing and he was groaning with pain, to reduce his misery we injected him with something to make him drowsy so they can heal when he sleeps."

My eyes scan his flesh, all these scars he possesses. Now he has more that shall paint his skin. Why must he always suffer this way? I thought I was the only wolf who had to fight for things my whole life but he had been the same as well. We both have our demons.

"Is she not truly beautiful, Ragon? Perhaps our goddess envies her." Deimos mutters his head leaned upon the pillow that keeps him seated burning eyes feasting on my flesh scanning me from head to toe.

I notice his bandages are soaked through, he will need new ones. If his healing is slow there are chances of infections. "Where are the bandages, Ragon? What about the salve?"

Ragon moves to a tiny table placed at the other end of the tent, "Here is everything he needs." He says pointing to the variety of items kept to help heal him. "Alpha Cronus brought more from his pack."

"Thank you, Ragon. I shall take it from here." I say whilst Ragon's eyes widen slightly to my words and a smile plays on his lips. He bows slowly and with a lingering glance at Deimos and me he leaves the tent leaving us alone.

Silence consumes us the only sound that seeps forth is the crackling of fire over wood. Taking a shaky deep breath I head to the table picking up the salve and bandages I stride back to the bed where he patiently awaits. His eyes are never taken from my flesh, he is devouring me this I know.

Biting my lower lip I sit close to his warmth, the first in so many months I have felt it. Our bond spurs back to life sparks of electricity run down my spine. With trembling hands, I begin to remove his bandages slowly as to not hurt him in any way.

Deimos neither flinches nor makes a single sound, he simply stares at me his chest heaving but his breaths are slow and tremulous. His chest shines with the sweat the covers him, his beard uncut making him look wild and ferocious to me.

"Deimos I need you to sit at the edge of the bed, I cannot reach your back this way." I whisper looking everywhere but his eyes. I know he is waiting to capture me and bound me under his spell. One that I must fight and escape from for if I am taken I shall submit to his desire.

It takes a few seconds but he nods slowly his eyes fluttering close. I help him up removing the pillow from his back whilst he grunts and moves forward using the heels of his feet. Placing his feet upon the ground leaning back, the weight of his flesh carried by his palms he sits patiently.

I dip the cloth into the warm water holding it in my hand peering down at him I find that there is no space for me to reach him for his legs block my path to get closer. Deimos recognizes this and swiftly opens his legs wide for me to stand in between them. The velvet blanket slips down his stomach to cover his cock. His pubic hair peeking out from the edge of the blanket, my eyes widen to his unhesitant action. It was a painfully slow seduction.

With slow steps, I dive into the space he made for me. Bending down my spine curving, I place the drenched cloth on his wound wiping gently cleaning his cuts. Our faces are close to each other for his hot breath kisses my cheek.

"I want to kiss you." He whispers into the shell of my ear blowing gently that sends shivers down my body and I gasp yet I do not move away from him continuing with the cleaning. "No, I said that wrong. I need to kiss you." He utters shifting closer to me his lips almost touching my flesh.

"You cannot, Deimos." I reply. He does not know what he is doing or saying, he is under the spell of the drug. He will not remember any of this tomorrow.

"Why? Because you hate me now?" He questions opening his legs wider for me giving me more space. A space that he controls.

"I do not hate you." I mutter dipping the bloody cloth into the water squeezing it to drain the blood.

"You lie. You lie to me. I can see it in your eyes." He declares grunting when I begin to smudge the ointment on his open gashes. He speaks but he cannot control the arousal that seeps out his pores. His desire for me on display with the position of his cock. Upright and painfully waiting to be calmed.

"I hold my truth." I whisper dipping my finger into the holder taking more of the balm. Deimos is quick to make his move, grabbing my waist pulling me to his flesh. He nestles his face into my stomach nuzzling taking in my scent. I startle a soft scream leaving my lips. He has captured me.

"Let me go, Deimos." I command softly. A command that is unclear, a command that is said just for the sake of it. A command he shall not listen to.

*"My female, mine." *He keeps on whispering in his drowsy state eyes closed indulging in my warmth and scent. A soft and deep kiss he gives to my stomach nudging me with his nose as if he were a pup. He is content with our position.

"Deimos!" I begin to push him with the heels of my palms but he does not make a move rather his hold on me tightens. Eyes peering upward his emeralds meet mine, I look away from him taking my attention elsewhere and this upsets him.

"What have I done so wrong that you won't even look at me? Tell me!" He demands his eyes getting wet for he has no control over his emotions. They are all over the place fighting within themselves to come forward. What he says, what he does is his truth. His truth that he hid shall come to light.

"Deimos, stop this." I say grabbing his wrists clamped behind my back trying my best to pry them away from me.

"This here." He extracts one hand from around my hips to point at his heart. He beats upon it harshly with a clenched fist. "It does not want to beat anymore. I cannot breathe without you. I cannot live." He speaks his truth as I stop fighting his clutch and watch all that he holds within pour from his soul. "So tell me, do you still feel the same way for me? Do I still have a place here?"

He grabs my palm and places it over my beating heart. Emeralds sink into me with undying hope, with everything he has in him he pleads with me. "Please have mercy on me, my female. Have mercy." He implores me.

"You-" I begin whilst he gulps visibly, anxiety swallowing him whole. *"You still have a place, Deimos."* And I speak my truth. I shall be generous with him tonight for he shall not remember tomorrow.

With no warning, he pounces upon me as a predator would seizing and throwing me upon the bed climbing over me a wide smile dancing upon his face a single lone tear drips down his cheek that he quickly wipes away. My words excite him bringing him the peace he needed.

Swiftly he swoops down pushing his lips into mine, my eyes broaden and my fists push at his chest. Mouth devourers mine with a burning passion, teeth bites into flesh. Trying to turn my face away from him is a challenge for his palms holds it in place. The blanket pools down further towards his feet as he lays bare hovering over me.

Pushing his mouth deeper into mine I clench my eyes shut with the fire he gives way. Unrelentlessly, unmercifully he takes my mouth as if he owns it as if it belongs to him. He has his way with my lips.

His kiss that I dreamt of every night, his kiss that haunted me even in daylight came alive. The sound of our mouths making love entices the serenity of the room. The fire burning over wood is nothing compared to the one burning between us.

I take what he gives, I take what I had yearned. Lips slide down to love my neck. Teeth bite only for his hot tongue to soothe the burn. Pain and pleasure he gives me. I whimper beneath him unable to fight against our bond. The hardness of his cock taunts my core with his slow thrusts as I spread my legs further for him.

He moans and grunts, I whimper and whine. My thighs quiver and the entirety of my being trembles. We are in heat, one that we cannot escape from. I taste him, he tastes me. A delicacy we had starved for. I drink him, he drinks me. A beverage we had thirsted for.

I breathe him in, he breathes me in. The air our lungs were deprived of.

The moon has bound us under her trance, we are hooked to the other. His face is red and he pants sweat dripping down his flesh. My chests heave buds protruding asking for his attention. He struggles to remain awake.

I frown scanning him from head to toe. My eyes widen when I find understanding within me, the burning passion dissolving quickly. Placing my palm over his forehead I sigh, I was right. "Deimos, you are burning up. You are unwell." I whisper trying to quickly remove myself from under his body so that I could aid him.

The drowsiness in his eyes increases showing me this male shall lose his inner battle to remain awake any moment now. "Stay with me. Stay."

"I cannot, Deimos." I whimper. My fight is dying. I do not know if I mean the words I say anymore.

"Sleep with me." He mutters eyes fluttering close he falls upon the bed losing the battle sleep taking over. He lies on his side face turned towards me. No tension boils within him, he is in peace.

I shift backwards to give him more space to sleep but he merely pulls me to his chest unconsciously his nose tucked into my neck he whispers,* "My female, mine."*
