I barely got any sleep the night before because of what happened at the park. They still hadn't found out who was at the park. They did rule out all of the witches and warlocks that lived in the werewolf kingdom. No one else from the Syrus's kingdom had shown up yet, and from what Cayson told me, if it had been someone from there, they would have been able to feel it.

Even after all of that, I was still in a good mood. It was the day Killian and I would finish the matebond, and that made me happy. I was still nervous about having sex with him in front of so many people, but that didn't stop me from being happy.

Once I woke up, I went to the restroom and showered. After showering, I put on a pair of sweats and a t-shirt. I went down to the kitchen to see the table filled with food. Tiara and Cayson were sitting next to each other. He had whispered something to her, and she was giggling. I smiled when I saw that.

"Good morning," I said as I sat across from them

"Morning," Tiara said

"Good morning," Cayson said

"Today is the big day," Tiara said

"Yeah," I replied. We all talked and ate. The doorbell rang, and Cayson went to answer it.

"Late night was crazy," Tiara said once he left

"Yes, it was," I replied. Tiara and I ended up sleeping together last night, and Cayson slept in the living room.

"So did you talk to Ashley about what happened last night?" Tiara asked

"No, I haven't seen her since we came back here last night," I replied

"I know you are going to think I am overthinking it, but what if Ashley had something to do with those people coming to the park last night?" Tiara asked. I looked at her for a moment before replying.

"Ashley wouldn't do that."

"I know you think that, but I think she would. think about it. She is the one who called you and asked you to meet her at the park after disappearing from the party last night. It is too much of a coincidence for those people to appear at the park," Tiara said

"Why would she do that?" I asked

"Because she is upset that you are Killian's fated mate," Tiara said

"You are definitely overthinking it," I said

"I don't think so. I think she is in love with Killian.I think she always has been and wants to get you out of the way so she could be with him," Tiara said

"T..."

"I am sure I am right," Tiara said

"Right about what?" Tiara and I turned to see Ashley standing there

"Nothing," I said after a moment

Cayson came back into the kitchen with Catherine, Syrus, and Helena. William was helping Killian get ready

"Today is going to be a great day. Everyone in the Kingdom is so cheerful. I haven't seen so many people want to help get things ready for a celebration in a very long time. Everyone is so happy for you," Catherine said

That made me happy. No one had ever been happy for me in my life. In the human territory, everyone mistreated me. They talked about me all the time, saying I was a freak because of my strange appearance. They laughed at the color of my eyes and hair. They said I didn't belong there and that I should have been kicked out because of the powers I had. I guess they were right I didn't belong there. I was never really one of them.

"Eliana, I wanted to ask you something," Syrus said after a moment. I could tell he was nervous

"What is it?" I asked

"I was wondering if it would be okay for me to walk you down the field at the Ceremony," Syrus asked and I stayed silent. I was shocked that he would ask me. The mating ceremoy was somehingg like a wedding. The female walked to the male like a bride would walk down a aisle to their groom. Just like with huumans the father always walked their daughters down and placed their hand in the malws.

"You don't have to agree if you don't want to. I know I wasn't around you growing up. I know I made a mistake staying away from you and I plan to make that up to you even if you don't want me to..."

"Yes, you can walk me down the field," I said cutting him off and he looked at me

"Really? You are sure about this right?" Syrus said

"Yes, I am sure. That is if you really want to," I said

"I do," Syrus said and a genuine smile appeared on his lips.

"Thank you Eliana."

After breakfast everyone Cayson and Syrus left to the room so that I could get ready. Catherine had a hair dresser and makeup artist do coem as well. Tiara, Helena, and Catherine wouldn't stop talking about how happy they were for me. I was still a nervous about trusting Helena. She had been being very nice to me but I wasn't sure if she was just putting on a show. I was Syrus's birth daughter and maybe she was acting so nice to me just to put on a front for him They were fated mates and I was sure she wasn''t happy that he had a child with anohter woman. I was going to keep my guard up around her.

"You look so beautiufl," Catherine said once I was ready. I had on my Violet Dress that flowed to the ground. My hair was hanging loose in spirals down my back and my makeup was done perectly. They didn't overdue with the make up and that made me happy. I wasn't the type to wear makeup anyway.

"Yes, you are so beautiful," Helena added.

"Thank you," I replied a little embarrass. No one had ever complimented me so much before.

Syrus walked inside and smiled when he saw me. You look amazing, Eliana. You look so much llike your mohter. She would be so happy to see you like this. I am sure she is looking down at you right now," Syrus said and that made me tear up. I looked over at Helena to see if she looked upset about his comment and I was shocked to see her smiling at me.
