Aziz has been doing everything he can during our training. I know that he somewhat held back, and I understand that he didn’t want to severely harm me. But I want to fight with all my might and test my limits. As Luna, I shouldn’t make him worry about me. I didn’t want him to think about my safety when I was in the pack and divide his attention with pack matters.

He trains me every day, and I am happy about it, so he does. I can see satisfaction on his face whenever I manage to hit him. I don’t know if I did that, but he is not an idiot to pretend to be satisfied when he was faking taking a hit on me, right? Just like now, we were in the training hall and were training for four hours straight. I never thought that I would be able to do this. I mean, not getting that exhausted, even if to an ordinary human, they would have collapsed out of exhaustion already.

“Your vampire abilities have kicked in. With continuous training, you will be able to release them at your own volition. You won’t be relying on your anger anymore.” Aziz said.

“How can you be so sure?"

“Don’t you believe your mate?” He asked, grinning, so I rolled my eyes at him.

“You know it's not what I meant.”

“Of course, woman. I know what you exactly mean. So you better believe me because I have been through what you are experiencing now.” I smiled and nodded my head. “Are you that happy?” he asked.

“Hmm. At least I felt relieved that I would be able to defend myself and not make you worry whenever we're not together."

“We’re not going to be away from each other, woman. Don’t ever forget that. No matter where you decide to go, I will be there. I am going to come even at the end of the earth.”

“So sweet. I didn’t know that Alpha was capable or had the ability to say such a word.”

We are willing to do even the impossible for our friends, woman. Especially me. Because there’s nothing more important to me than you.”

“Are we here for training, or do you just want to act so cheesy here?”

“Cheesy?” he asked, creasing his forehead, so I laughed while nodding my head.

“You’re trying to be sweet and goddess; you’re making me believe everything you just said.”

“You better be, because they were all the truth.”

“I think we should go back to the pack house and have a break. You’re starting to make me feel like the most beautiful woman in the world.”

“It’s not just your feeling; it’s the truth as well,” he said, and that made me laugh even louder, but deep inside, I knew that I fell for him deeply, so I clung to him before I kissed him deeply. “Hmm… I liked that possessive and wanton kiss. You're making me feel like you want me to bring you to our bedroom already.”

“Yes, bring me already since I need to freshen up for lunch. I didn’t want them to see me all sweaty like this."

“Your wish is my command, woman.”

“Thank you very much!” I replied, and we went to our bedroom and took a bath. Being with Aziz, I realized that I am worth being taken care of, respected, and loved. Because of him, I remember the love of a family. I remember my parents, who were willing to do everything just to make me happy. Today, my grudge against his kind—both werewolves and vampires—dissipated.

I now understand that, like humans, there are also good and bad among them. Even siblings have someone they call a prodigal child.

“Do you know how much I crazily want you?” He asked while we were dressing up. The quick bath that we should take was extended since he didn't stop teasing me.

“Yes. And please, stop already. The pack members are waiting. I didn't want them to think that we kept them waiting; Reeves is back, and he'll tease us once he sees us later.”

“Don't worry about his teasing. He's just envious since Athena hasn't come back yet," he replied.

“Speaking of Athena, when did she plan on coming back? Does she not like Reeves at all?”

“They are both stupid, but I am 100% sure that they like each other. Reeves understood Athena's hesitation, and even if I knew that he had been with women before, I believe that he will be faithful and loyal to my sister.”

“How can you be so sure about that?”

“Because they're mates. Their feelings for each other are too intense. Another thing is, Reeves is my friend, and we are close to each other, so I know how much he wants his mate.”

“Then I just hope that Athena won't be too stubborn and accept Reeves already.”

“I know she will, and that will be soon.” He replied confidently before he offered me his hand, which I took with a smile on my face, and he led me down to the dining hall, where some of our pack members were waiting.

We ate with our pack members, and I'm so glad that they accepted me for who I am. I know that there are arrogant wolves who don't want a human mate or leader. But the Dark Blood Pack is different from other packs, and I'm glad that this is where I belong.

The vampire king has not made a move yet, but knowing how scared Aziz is for my safety, I became more eager to train and get stronger. Aside from learning to defend myself, I want to defend our pack as well. Having Hera, Lexis, and Athena with us, Aziz felt relieved and confident that they would be able to defeat any kind of enemy we faced, and I felt the same.

We are surrounded by strong pack members, which made our victory certain. For now, I don't need to think about his siblings and their mates, because, just like Aziz said, they won't be able to do anything about it. They will stay here, and the Lunar Pack and its members are surely on our side.

"Woman!" Aziz's voice rings in my ears. “You have been in deep thought for a while now; tell me what you are thinking.” He added. Oh, his breath was fanning my ear, and I started to feel something in between my legs, but I had to hold it since we were with the pack members.

“Nothing,” I answered and looked at everyone, who I just realized was looking at me as well. “I just thought that I was lucky to be here. Being your mate and the pack's Luna is the best thing that ever happened to me.” Everyone looked so happy after I said that, especially Aziz.

“And we're even luckier to have you as our Luna.” He replied sweetly before he kissed me. The clapping of the pack and their happiness for us filled the dining hall. Because of that, I wish that this would never end.
