Chapter 51

I screamed when I realised whose body I had been ogling for the past, 8 don’t know, 10 minutes.

“You’re disgusting!” I said throwing the broom at him. I wanted to throw the bucket but it was way to heavy for me to lift “you plan to take advantage of me! Eww” I threw another thing in the bucket at him, or I hope it was at him since i shut my eyes close, cursing everything I could think of that made me, even for a millisecond think that Elias was hot.

“ouch! Stop that!! You were the one that bounced in here on announced.” He sounded more amused than petrified. I could have sworn I even heard him laugh a bit as he tried to stop me.

“get back, fucking get...” he pulled me to him causing me to freeze. I was so close to his body, I felt every thing, his chest, his rock hard abs and worse, the water on his skin was soaked up by my clothes.

“You look cute while flustered” he smirked, enjoying each and every flushed emotion that I felt. “would certainly like this look you know” he teased further.

“you’re disgusting” I couldn’t help but laugh. “You know, saying nasty words doesn’t fit you, you looked like you were about to throw up for a moment there” I smirked. I tried to pull myself away from him but it was of no use, instead, he pulled me closer to me and was about to tease me further when it happened.

His towel dropped, it was obvious from the way his whole body stiffened, and I felt at length his whole package.

We both at the moment looked like we didn’t know what to do. He had noticed that his towel had fallen, I had noticed, no, I could FEEL that his towel had fallen and 5hat left room for a LOT of imaginations one I tried desperately to throw out the window.

Dead flowers, think of dead flowers’ I told myself over and over.

“umm ...Elias?” he tightened his hold on my hand as if to tell me to shut up. As usual, it didn’t instantly click what he was trying to say. “Elias I think... “ think what?? That your junk is touching me? That it feels long and... I mentally shook those away too. There was no way i could even dare to say that.

“Shut up Allison!” He snapped in a bit of panic. I was almost surprised he used that tone with me because the last time he did, we were more enemies than friends. He seemed to have noticed what he did because soon, he was apologising profusely. I nodded to tell him that it was alright.

“I’m going to let you go now?” he said rather awkwardly.

I nodded. I felt I was going to say something stupid if I did open my mouth. “Don’t look down okay? You can’t look down”

‘I was already pressed against you, with nothing to shield me from under there except mu clothes, there was really nothing if I saw it at this point’ but as usual, I kept my mouth shut.

He moved a step back “Hey!” He snapped. “eyes up here” he pointed at me accusingly.

“I wasn’t looking!”

“you....” instead of completing his words, he ran straight back into the bathroom.

I tried to cool my face and my whole body as I was still rooted in place and unable to move.

Soon after, he came out looking anywhere but me. He cleared his throat, before briefly meeting my eyes again. I tried everything to keep it cool but i was panicking on the inside

“ so, I originally called you to see you” he said adjusting his suit as if to cover himself more.

I widened my eyes, ignoring for a moment the awkward moment we were in. “you were the one that called me?”

“who did you think it would be?” he looked at me, talking like he was explaining to a three year old.

I ignored it because if I didn’t, I was going to be punching his face with the mop stick next. “The boss, I thought it was the boss of this branch or something, definitely not you.” It would only make sense that the boss here would want to see me.

“well sorry to disappoint, but I called you here” he said stretching his legs on the foot stool that was in his front.

“Business trip?” I asked looking at him weirdly. He didn’t tell me he had anything to do over here and we talked at length yesterday morning, and the day before that. Not that he was to tell about everything that was happening in his life each day but.... I took in a deep breath not wanting my head to explode with how much i was thinking.

“nope, nothing personal that I can’t send in an assistant.” He went further to cross his leg and get more comfortable on the chair.

“then why are you here?” I looked at him with raised brows. The awkwardness slowly leaving the atmosphere.

“you can’t just take in the fact that I have something other to tell you and that’s why I called you here?”

I shook my head no. I needed to know why he was here in the first place. Something in me wasn’t going to let up till I found out why.

“you take the fun out of things you know.” He rolled his eyes bit I wasn’t budging..

“you were having your first day at work so I decided to show up to wish you good luck” he said giving me that innocent smile.

I looked at him blinking with my mouth open like a fish that was let out of the water. “Aren’t you like the Ceo or something?” I was over amused.

“and don’t you work here or something.”

The face I made must have told him that I wasn’t impressed by his comeback.

“what? You started stating the obvious”

“But .. you have work, i think you shouldn’t have come. You’re busy and....”

“Ally,” he said, cutting me off. “you don’t need to overthink it, i came to wish you good luck as a friend. Just take it” he smiled messing my hair up ..

I smiled back giving him a hug. “thank you.”
