"Oh, he is hot."

Helaine commented when Bernardo came on the screen. My heart skipped a beat when he looked directly at the camera. Damn! He was hot for real and all mine. My wolf jumped, and my heart sang at the sight of him. I love him so much.

"He loves us too."

My wolf whispered excitedly. That's the best part of everything, the fact that he loves me so much too. It amazed me that the man standing in front of the podium staring at the camera was all mine. The man who's the number one person in the kingdom owns my heart and the best part is that I own his too. Amazing couldn't begin to describe how it made me feel. And when he started speaking. I listened with my ears and my heart.

"I am standing before you tonight because I have a very important announcement to make."

He said after greeting the kingdom members. The common room was absolutely silent. Everyone had their focus on the TV and what the king had to say.

"A few months ago, some very disturbing things were revealed and for the past two months, we have been doing everything we can to resolve the issues that arose. I am glad to tell the good people of the Crimson Moon that we finally finished with that tonight and I have come before you to let you in on all that has been going on."

Bernardo said each word in a firm-steady voice that held so much power and authority. It dawned on me again in that moment that I mated a man of authority. He went on to tell the kingdom everything that has been going on and how a group of wolves have been working behind the scenes to bring down the Crimson Moon.

He talked about how it started years ago while his father was still king and even talked about how the traitorous wolves were the reason both the former alpha king and the zeta passed away and how the person responsible also poisoned the Queen Mother.

The way he listed everything that Sean had done and the effect it had on the pack and everyone broke my heart. He stood there talking about a man who was supposed to be a family member who turned out to be pure evil.

I saw him lose his cool for a moment and his voice even shook. My heart went out to him. Giving him as much strength as I could muster. He got hit the most because he trusted Sean.

"The leader and main traitor who is responsible for the death of my father and the former Zeta is my uncle, Sean."

He stopped talking after mentioning his uncle's name. I saw the pain in his eyes and felt it too. I wanted to reach out to him and hug him.

"I trusted Sean so much because he came to me like a good man but he turned out to be a traitor who not only murdered the former king but spent the last years after my father passed away plotting on how to take over the throne from me. He even went as far as including his son in his evil plans."

He paused and looked directly at the camera before he spoke again. The flashes from the cameras were a lot and I didn't know how he wasn't blinded by the lights. He looked unfazed by them.

"Theo who used to be a beta of the sub-pack that his father presided over before he took over turned out to be just as bad as his father. He too had plans to take the throne and worse of all. He went after my mate."

At the mention of a mate, the flashes from the camera increased.

"Yes, I have found my mate and we have been together for months now. I know I should have made the announcement sooner but the timing of finding my mate and also finding out what has been happening within the kingdom collided and I wanted to come to you all with the good news once I settled the issues so as not to cause worries."

Bernardo went on. He talked about me to a great length that made me feel both proud and shy. Heck, now everyone knew about me.

"After capturing the traitors and reviewing their crimes. I have come to a conclusion that I think is fair for everything that they have down to the kingdom."

Bernardo said into the mic. I heard my breath as I knew he was about to announce what they would do to the traitors. I have only ever seen him give a public announcement like this once and that's when he ordered the execution of a loser who ended the life of his mate and their unborn child.

"I, as the alpha and king of the Crimson Moon hereby declare that the traitors, Sean and Theo be publicly executed."

I let out the breath I held after he announced what I already knew. Execution. That's the only fair judgment for those two. Keeping them alive will only be a recipe for more trouble in the future. He wasn't done yet.

"Also, I have a full list of every beta, delta, and everyone who helped them in one way or the other. Already, a lot of them are locked up and their punishment shall be according to the weight of their crimes and how they helped the traitors. Each one will get what they deserve."

He paused and let out a sigh.

"From here on, there will be a lot of reforming and I look forward to revealing everything I have planned out for the kingdom. As always, I work hard for the safety and good of the kingdom."

He went on. Harry reduced the volume of the TV when Leah started talking.

"I can't believe it. I mean, he already told me everything he found out but I didn't want to believe that the reason I lost my dad, the reason my siblings had to grow up without our father, the reason I had to watch my little brother become king at a young age was because of that man."

She looked close to tears. I stood up from where I sat and went to her.
