Chapter 59 059
Damien's POV
"Alpha, we have a problem." Lucas came running into my room to report.
I scoffed, "What problem could possibly make you barge into my room without knocking?"
"I don't know how to say this to you, Alpha, but Gamma Ronald, is here with some men demanding to see you because he claims you have his daughter with him and he hasn't seen his daughter in days." Lucas replied me.
It felt funny to me because I haven't seen her in days. I didn't want to make her angry again. So I decided to wait for a few days before going to her. Of course I wasn't going to let it last for a long time. I know she must still be mad at me for what she saw. She didn't pick my calls and she blocked me. That was enough reason for me to stay away. Now he's here to tell me that I took his daughter. Isn't this ironic?
"I need you to take me to see him right now. There's some things that I don't understand. And I need to ask him. I told Lucas. Yes, Alpha, he replied and rushed out. I got myself dressed and went out to look at him. When I found him in the living room, he seemed very restless and he didn't just come alone. He was there with Amelia's brother too. I don't know why father and son are coming to look for their daughter here. What exactly is going on with them? This is becoming confusing and weird to me.
"Gamma Ronald, I was told you wanted to see your daughter because you think I hid her here with me." I said, sitting down.
He scoffed. "Isn't it true? I'm not here for any games, Alpha. Damien, I think I've given you enough respect and I need you to bring out my daughter right now. I'm taking her home with me."
"Again, not a lot of people would dare to disrespect me like this, but I'm only giving you this chance because you're her family. She's not here with me. Tell me what the hell is going on right now."
"What do you mean tell you what is going on? She's obviously here with you. Why are you hiding her? Where else would she go if it wasn't for you?" Her brother asked me.
They seemed serious about this, and it was becoming weird to me. They looked very worried and desperate. Could it be that they are telling the truth and they don't know where she is? That was when I finally realized that I needed to be serious.
I stood up immediately. "What do you mean you don't know where she is? What the hell are you all saying? You locked her up for days and you're telling me now that you lost her? Do you seriously deserve to come to my place to ask me this?"
"You're saying she's not really here with you? What the hell is going on?" Her brother asked me again.
I can't believe this ridiculous question that he's asking me. It's making me so angry.
"What the hell were you all thinking when you lost her? How could you make such a huge mistake like that?" I scolded the both of them.
"If you don't know where she is, then we won't bother you anymore. But I'm telling you now that you better not have anything to do with this. I'm sorry I won't be able to respect you anymore. Because you don't deserve it." Her father said to me and wanted to leave but I wouldn't let them leave like that.
They needed to tell me everything in detail. Amelia is nowhere to be found. That's not something I will fucking accept. She's mine. Where else would she go if it wasn't for my place? Did she really leave because they did something to her?
"What exactly did you all do to her? What made her leave?" I demanded.
"We should be asking you that. The day we allowed her to leave home, she came home sad. I saw her that day but didn't go to her because I didn't want to bother her. Why don't you answer what exactly happened to her?" Her brother answered.
I tried to remember the day he was talking about and it was the same day she caught me with Carla. How do I explain things to her? She doesn't even want to listen to me. I never wanted to do anything with Carla. She drugged me but that would be uneasy to explain.
"Alpha, Damien, we have a lot to do. Since our sister is not here, we naturally have to look for her somewhere else. So, excuse us." They said and walked away.
"Lucas," I called, and he immediately rushed over.
"Yes, Alpha."
"I need you to find out what exactly happened in their house and also look for her right now. Make sure you tell me what is going on or any other places that she might have passed through."
"Yes, Alpha. I'll do that immediately!" he said and rushed out. I couldn't stop thinking about it.
At first, I felt panic and then I felt a bigger fear. After that, I couldn't understand my feelings anymore. I was having mixed reactions filled with jealousy and other things. What if she ran away with another man? Is she really doing this to spite me?
I waited for Lucas and he came back not too long after with the results.
"Alpha, I checked everywhere and many other things. I also checked security footages but I couldn't see her leaving anywhere. The only person I ever saw her with was her best friend. Don't you think we should ask her?"
I kept thinking about it and I didn't know if it was the right decision to ask her best friend about anything. If she knows anything about Amelia, she might not want to tell me but it's best to ask her first. Even if she doesn't want to tell me anything, I have my ways. She disrespected me the last time and now Amelia is not here. What is going to happen if I decide to tell my way with her?
"Find a way to bring her to me. I'm going to question her myself."
"Yes, Alpha, I'll be right back."
Amelia, you just wait for me. I do not believe that you are lost or anything else. I feel like you ran away from me and I'm going to get you back.
