Haula's POV:

What I'm I going to do? I'm so bored.

I pick my phone and call Margret but it rings and rings with her not picking. I call again still not picking.

Where could she have dropped her phone?

And now Theo says he would be back today till tomorrow as their flight booking had some issues.

I lay on the couch, picking my phone and listening to music maybe I'll sleep off and pass time.

I start drifting off to sleep when the doorbell rings. Why is it when I'm starting to fall asleep?

"Coming!" I yell over dragging my lazy legs to the door. I'm sure I look like a mess. My hair is loosed and packed up in a mess, and I'm wearing some old worn out jeans and baggy top. That's what staying at home all day does to you.

"Surprise!" Wait what?

My eyes came face to face with Theo and I quickly slam the door shut as I lean on it.

Oh my God what is he doing here? I look like a mess, my hair, my everything. I thought he said he was going to be back tomorrow.

"Haula," I hear him call my name as I realize he's still shut out. What am I going to do now? "Is everything okay?" He asks.

"Yes, yes I'm alright sorry." I say opening door. I have no choice he couldn't stay out there. I look at him seeing how nicely dressed he is with his blue suit that hugs his body perfectly. I know I'm drooling right now he looks so hot and handsome while I'm looking like an ordinary chili pepper.

"Hey," He smiles looking at me in amusement.

"You said you were not getting back today," I frown.

"I was only joking, I wanted to surprise you but seems like you don't want me here." His face drops.

"No, no, no come in," I drag him inside." That's not it I swear, it’s because you're here looking so handsome and nice while I'm here looking like an orange. I'm sorry if you think I didn't want you, I'm so happy you're here." I bow my head in stupidity.

"Oranges are sweet," He says coming closer to me as I smile." And you do not look like an orange, I like every part of you, you don't have to look like a princess for me to appreciate you. I love you for you." He says as my lips curves into a huge smile.

"You're gonna make me cry you know that," I tease.

"If it makes you feel less an orange, but I don't want to see you cry." He's so sweet, at times he makes me wonder if he's even real.

He caresses my cheek lightly as his other hand goes up to my sleeves then leaning in giving me a slow, I miss you kiss.

"You know my brother is upstairs right?" I laugh as he turns back to see if

there is anyone.

"Looks like he didn't see anything. I got you these," He hands over a bouquet of lovely lilies to me and I bring it closer to my nose inhaling its scent.

"Thank you, it smells so good.”

I peck him on his lips smiling happily.

"So why don't you get dressed, we're going out remember, I can't be the only one looking flashy." He pinches my nose.

"Ow," I jump up as he laughs. "So you didn't have any mission to go to?" I ask remembering how he told me he had a mission to go and here he is.

"I wanted to surprise you," He pulls me closer again making our chest come in contact.

"And I like it cause you're looking so takeaway," I wrap my hands on his neck bringing him closer.

"So does that mean other girls will be checking me out too?" He smirks. I raise my toes leaning in giving him a chaste kiss before pulling away immediately and he looks at me surprised wanting more.

"That's for the thinking of other girls and, no you're only mine to check out."I drop down as I release him but not before winking at him. "Make yourself at home, a lady gotta dress." I shake my body a bit leaving him stunned as I leave.

I get to my room smiling like I just won a lottery before going to my wardrobe.

Now what to wear.

I search and search but I can't find anything that I felt I could wear, most of the dresses that are here are either too much to wear on a date or less.

I must get something. Please wardrobe.

I check again, sigh after sigh after rampaging the whole wardrobe and then I found one.

It's a blue long off shoulder bridesmaid dress, and it looks perfect to wear. I didn't want to over dress as it was a date not a party.

I put the dress on the bed and take out my make up thingsI decide to go with a not nude, not glam make over, just something to bring out the dress.

I am done with my makeup and check myself out, I looked really good. Since my hair is loosed I decide to add much oil in it, then wrapping it in an American bun which to my favor it works and take out the necklace Theo got for me.

I take my dress and wear it to complete it all and my black heels to compliment it.

I am looking like royalty when I am done and I'm proud of myself. I take my black purse and head out, opening my brothers room but he isn't there, I guess he's downstairs.

I walk down the stairs carefully as not to make my heels sound too loud. "Who is this?" Nick asks as he sees me.

"Very funny," I smile at him and glance to Theo who has a stunned expression.

"You're looking good sis," Nick days again me and I smile at him.

"Thank you." I bow in courtesy as he huffs. "Okay I'm going out, I'll try not to be late. If mom gets back before me tell her I went out with Theo okay?" I tell nick.

Nick finally found out about Theo and knows who he is, as my boyfriend because Mom decided to tell him the day I didn't come home.

"Yeah sure, I might go to Sam's house also." He says and I nod. Nick comes closer to me as he stretches up to my ear level.

"I love his hair." He whispers and I giggle glancing back at Theo who still had a smile on his lips. "Bye, close the door when you leave." He yells before going up.

"What was that?" Theo asked as he came closer. "He said he loves your hair," I tell him.

"Ohh. I'm flattered" He says as we both chuckle. "Wow. You look very stunning,"He says staring at me intensely.

"Thank you." I reply blushing.

"I hope I am able to get my eyes off you." He says raising my chin up to look at him.

"I wouldn't mind if you stared at me all day," I reply looking into his blue orbs.

"Then who would drive" He takes a step closer to me as we stand only an inch apart.

"Yea that's true." I giggle as he leans in closer but I stop him putting by fingers on his lips.

"You'll ruin all my hard work," I say pointing out to my lipstick. "I'll do it later then." He straightens up. "We better get going."

I nod as we exit the house. We get into the car as Theo holds my hand in his while we drive to date land.

Throughout the whole ride, Theo's hand never leave mine and when it did, it comes back again. It is as if he didn't want to let go for even a minute.

We get to the location, seeing it is a very fancy restaurant named La Souee.

I've never been here and I didn't even know it existed while someone who's not from around here, knows better than I do. I really need to start going out a lot.

We smile at each other as we walk into the restaurant hand in hand. I expect the place to be empty but it isn't.

The inside is dim illuminating everywhere, making it look like a bit dark. The decorations having a color of black and gold as the chairs and tables are covered in mauve.

It was really beautiful as a song can be heard all round the place, giving it more of a romantic scene.

"Wow it’s so beautiful," My face lit up.

"I'm happy you like it." Theo responds as the waiter comes to take our reservation. "Theo McCall," Theo responds as the waiter directs us to our table.

"I love it." I say. Theo comes to my side as he moves the chair from the table for me to sit. "Thank you." I smile and nod at him.

"Anything for you." He replies going back to sit. "You look very beautiful." He comments and I bite my lip from laughing so much from happiness.

"Thank you." I bury my head in shyness.

"What can I get you sir?" The waiter comes whose name tag reads Dele.

"We'll get back to you." Theo responds. The way he took care of everything so manly made me fall for him even more. Not only is he courageous but also knows what a lady wants.

"How are you felling now?" Theo asks after the waiter leaves.

"I'm good, I haven't felt any discomfort which means I'm cured." I tell him.

"That's good. I'm really sorry Haula for everything I have put you through, I know I don't deserve you but you keep letting me in and keep forgiving me, it means a lot to me. I don't know if I'll be able to say the right words to you but I just want you to know how happy I am since you came to my life." My heart melts at the sound of that. He will never cease to amaze me.

"You don't put me through anything, and I'm happy to be in your life, Theo you complete me, you make me feel alive. We feel the same way about each other so you don't have to apologize about anything it’s not your fault and I'll continue to tell you that. Okay?" I assure him taking my hand up the table and joining my hand in his as I caress it.

He nods and smile which makes me relieved that this is over, all our troubles are over.

"You never did tell me how you got this place reserved in a short time,"I say changing the topic.

"Nothing a little GPS and phone combined with Lisa cannot do." He chuckles as I laugh with him too, before Theo calls the waiter over.

We order what we want as our food is brought within minutes. It looks so delicious and I waste no time immediately the waiter left as I dive in.

My name should be Staving girl on a date.

We are done eating after an hour or so, as we just stayed there talking and laughing at whatever each of us said.

"Haula," Theo calls becoming serious.

"Yes," I answer immediately. Theo comes over to my side as he extends his hand forward for me to take it and I do. What is he doing?

The song changes into a slower song as perfect plays on by Ed Sheeran. "I have never seen a woman like you in my life. Smart, beautiful, patient, outgoing and most of all lovely. The day I first saw you, was the day I fell in love with you, your voice which captured me at first but then you're beauty made me bewitched. I know we've had a little trouble here and there but that only makes our love stronger. You complete me, you understand me and you're the reason I hold on to this world that I'm living, I can't think of any better way

to do this or keep you mine than telling you how special you mean to me."

Theo stops as my heart races faster and tears wells up in my eye hearing these beautiful words, this handsome man is saying to me.

I look at him not taking my eyes off him, neither not caring how all eyes Were on us as I only focus on the man in front of me. The man I love.

"And how I would like to spend the rest of my life with you." Theo steps back as he goes down on one knee, taking a small box from his suit pocket and the whole place went in gasps.

"Marry me Haula Mathews, make me the happiest man in the world by marrying me because you're the only one I'll ever have eyes for. I know you don't want to get married till you finish college and I respect that and I 'll gladly wait for you cause I'm not going anywhere anytime soon. So will you marry me Haula Mathews?"

Tears came rushing down as my lips part to talk but can't. He is proposing to me, he wants me to marry him, to spend the rest of his life with him.

I become speechless, not able to say anything as I stare at this man that I love so much.

"Yes. yes. I'll marry you." I finally say as he slips the diamond ring into my finger.

And that people is how I became the happiest woman in the world.
