Althea was shocked when she heard this, she thought that this person was a kind man since he had saved them, she never expected that he would order for them to be arrested!

Luis, who had been on guard this whole time, pulled Althea close to himself, his eyes fierce. 

“I knew you both were suspicious,"  Luis said in anger.

He had managed to get Althea away from Damian and now this was happening. What the heck was the meaning of this? 

"You have no idea who His Highness is right? You are lurking around in the woods when you are just humans...no one will be able to get here easily. We believe that you are spies and you have to come back with us!"the man called Randy declared. 

His highness? Althea eye widened “Oh no” she said

Luis and Althea backed away from both people, and just as they were about to run away, they found out that they were surrounded by even more people 

Althea bit her lips...it seemed that there was no way she would get out of this. 

She clenched her fist tightly, she had not yet mastered her fighting skill, but she needed to fight her way from this pool. 

If they allow these people to take them, then Damian can easily find them if it happens that his highness they are referring to was the crown prince who is a friend of Damian.

“Luis, draw out your sword!!” Althea said.



Alicia has not been able to rest easy ever since she helped Althea escape from the kingdom. She thought that she would receive news that Althea was dead a short while after she escaped, but after an entire day, she still did not get any news .

It was driving Alicia crazy, she knew that something must have happened to the beast that she sent after Alicia .

Otherwise, she wouldn't be able to contact him. 

Alicia felt like she was going crazy from worry, she could not meet the person she had sent after Althea and the baron was now looking for Althea. 

She knew that it would only be a matter of time before he came looking for her. 

She could always deny having anything to do with it, but what if Damian figured out that she was the one who helped Althea escape? Or even worse, what if he captured the man that she sent after Althea and forced him to confess?

The man would surely mention her name! Alicia was not sure that her father would be able to save her if that happened.

"Can you please calm down, Milady? I am sure that everything is fine. No one will trace anything back to you. Besides, Althea was the one who wanted to leave. Everyone knows that the baron had forced her to come here. No one will accuse you of helping her escape" 

Alicia turned to look at her maid, Nora, who had just spoken. 

She knew that her maid was just trying to comfort her but the only thing that she felt was complete annoyance. 

"Shut up! You don't know anything! Do you think that the baron will care about things like that? She escaped while I was in the castle with her! All of this wouldn't matter if she had died in the woods but now there's no news! What if Damian has already found her?" 

Alicia was really worried about this, she had worked so hard to get rid of Althea. She would be really pissed if her plans were ruined and it turned out that she did all of those things for nothing! 

The maid lowered her head, and she didn't dare to say even more. 

She knew the kind of person Alicia was, if she dared to make her more angry, she would only be abused by her! 

"Find a way to contact that person! I don't care what you do, find a way to contact him so he can tell us what has happened to Althea!" Alicia ordered her maid, a cold look on her face 

The maid nodded her head, and turned to carry out Alicia's orders .

However, as soon as she opened the door of Alicia's room, she saw a bunch of guards marching towards the room, with the baron leading in front. 

The Nora’s heart skipped a beat when she saw this and she turned to look at Alicia fearfully .

"What is going on there?" Alicia asked in annoyance.

The maid didn't get to respond because the door was pushed wide open just then and Damian barged in with his guards. 

"Baron, you can't just do this! This is my daughter's bedroom! If there is something you want to talk about with her we can talk about it calmly, but you can't just barge in here!" Alicia's father, Judan, spoke up for his daughter as he rushed into the bedroom too. 

He had an angry look on his face but deep down in his heart, he was scared. 

The baron had showed up at his house with a bunch of guards and insisted that he wanted to take his daughter for questioning.

Damian refused to tell Judan what Alicia had done, just insisting that he would take her away.

Judan tried to speak sense to the baron but he refused to listen. Deep down, Judan knew that the baron was not someone who listened to anyone else. 

He had a lot of power in this country and frankly, there weren't a lot of people who could stop him from doing whatever he wanted to do! 

Damian ignored the man who was trying to defend his daughter and his eyes fell on Alicia who had fear evidently written on her face. 

Although she was trying to mask it with a smile, he could tell that she was guilty. 

"Damian...is there something you want to say? You could have just asked me to come to your house. I would show up there, there is no need for you to bring a bunch of your men here. It's not as if I am a prisoner" Alicia said. 

Deep down in her heart, she was praying that she wouldn't become a prisoner! 

Damian sneered, as he approached Alicia slowly. Grabbing her chin, he forced her to look into his eyes. 

"I am only going to ask you this question once. Where is Althea?!!”
