CHAPTER ONE HUNDRED AND FOURTY SEVEN

CHAPTER ONE HUNDRED AND FOURTY SEVEN

AMELIA'S POV

It took a while for me to understand what Vivian was saying, but I finally understood, and I was out of the execution grounds in a matter of seconds. There were no guards at the gate as I hurried to order a cab, strapping Miles to my back. He was the most patient of children. He never made a sound. It was almost like he understood that his mother was in some sort of trouble, and he had to be of his best behaviour.

“Please, can you hurry up?” I asked the driver with a sense of urgency. I couldn't stop boucing my feet on the floor. It all seemed like a dream at first. But it was really happening. We were really taking the last step. It had barely been a month since we came here, and I couldn't even blame Vivian for trying to rush everything. She still had a company that she was supposed to run. She still had a life outside all of this. But there she was, dedicating her time and money to the pack. She wanted to help them get rid of a pig like Alpha Logan from the throne. To think that I once looked up to him. I gagged at the thought.

I looked down on Miles again, giving him some of the snacks that I managed to stuff into the ticket in my dress. After he called out to her, I had this strong feeling that she would have gotten released. But then, Alpha Logan was too strong headed. He would never let her be spared. I just hoped that it wouldn't be too late by the time I got there.

“We are here, ma'am,” the driver finally said, and I got out, and paid him, not even caring about the change. I practically flew through the gates of Alpha Kyle's pack. I didn't need anyone leading me in anymore. I noticed a few guards calling out to me, and asking me to stop. But I couldn't.

I didn't even stop to breathe until I got to the throne room, where I saw Alpha Kyle sitting right in his throne. He cocked an eyebrow when he saw me.

“I expected your sister, and not you.” he said, and I cocked an eyebrow as well.

“Leave!” The guards that were walking behind me, came to try to drag me out. I looked up at Alpha Kyle.

Was he also going to disappoint is at a time like this?

“What are you doing?” He asked the guards. “Look at her properly. She's one of us now.”

The really looked at me like they were acknowledging me. I heard a hum of approval from one of them, and I almost blushed. But thisnwasnt the time for any of that right now. I could come back, and do that later. For now I needed to focus.

“So what happened?” Alpha Derek asked. “What do you need my help with?”

Vivian is about to be executed,” I said, and he got up immediately.

“What did she do?”

“Alpha Logan suspects her already for killing most of the people. And she asked me to do what I felt was right.”

A small smile appeared on his lips. So it's time, right?” He asked, and I nodded unsurely.

“Put her in the car,” he ordered one of his pack guards. The man led me to the car in the kst gentle manner. I allowed my head rest on the velvety seat. Alpha Kyle was by the window immediately.

“You don't have to worry, my men and I would handle everything. You just sit back and watch. I wanted to trust him so bad. I swallowed hard and watched as the driver drove out of the pack gates.

ALPHA KYLE'S POV

There were moments that came once in a lifetime. And this was one. Attacking Logan's pack had been my dream. Every single time he had stepped on my feet, and pretended that everything was okay between the both of us. I couldn't have any of that anymore. He had done too much. I could no longer deal with any of that. He had done too much.

I assembled my strongest of wolves. It was going to be an easy attack. Something that I could do myself since Enzo had already killed most of his men. But I still wanted to make sure it was worth it.

I made sure to teach them how they were supposed to handle the attack. And by the time we were ready, we headed out immediately. I was sure that Amelia would have gotten back to the pack. I wanted her to lay back and watch how I took revenge for every single person while still protecting the innocent pack members.

By the time we walked through the pack gates, I was already in my werewolf form. And so were my men. It was a dream come true.

As I walked in, the guards of Logan's pack were already in their werewolf form. The weakest of all of them. I couldn't help but snicker as I growled for Logan to come and face me himself. He hurried downstairs with shock written all over him.

“Kyle,” he whispered in shock. There was pain and betrayal written all over him.

He turned to his werewolf form immediately. He tried attacking first, but that was the worst move that he could have made. I pushed him immediately with my paw, until his back hit a tree. Of course, he was old. And I knew all of his weak points.
He tried getting up again when the rest of the wolves came, my men handled them with ease. Biting into necks and breaking arms.

The air was filled with the smell of blood, fur and sweat.

Logan tried delivering punches, but I was too fast for him. It didn't take any more time, and I already had him on the floor, with my teeth sinking into his neck. His fur was colored with blood already. He was struggling to breathe. He finally let out a small sound that showed that he had surrendered.

I finally let go of him with a smirk. If he thought he was smart, now we knew who was smarter.

I turned back to my human form.

“Take him to the dungeon,” I told my men. I turned back to the crowd that were watching in shock. It was the first time that I had attacked a pack, and they were cheering st me for attacking their Alpha. I couldn't deny the fact that I was in pure shock. Was he that wicked towards them?

I didn't spare them a smile. I spotted Amelia, who was looking at him with a smile written all over her. “Thank you,” she mouthed, and I nodded.

“Where is Vivian?” I asked, and she led me towards the execution grounds, where Vivian still stood at a spot, with her hands still tied to a spot.

“Alpha Kyle,” she said in a relieved tone.

I couldn't hold back my smile, and she knew that the job had been done. “Release her,” I ordered Enzo, who was finally in sight. He bowed as he headed up towards the execution spot. Even the executioner had gone to watch how his Alpha was almost killed.

“Did you kill him?” She asked, as she was being released from the chains. She rubbed against her wrist that were already turning red.

“He's very much alive for you to get the information that you need,” I told her, and she nodded.

“Thank you very much for not making me regret asking for your help even one bit.”

I couldn't help but smile to myself .

“Thank you as well. Getting rid of Alpha Logan is one thing that Almost every Alpha in the district wanted. I just fulfilled the task, and you helped with the rest of it.”

She turned to Amelia who walked towards her slowly. “Amelia,” she called out slowly, and ran to hug her. Amelia unstrapped Vivian's child from her back, and handed the boy over to her.

He held unto Vivian like he hadn't  seen her in years.

“Are you okay?” She asked, and he mumbled something that made her laugh.

Vivian turned back to Amelia. “I told you we will be done with all this soon enough right? Well here we are.”

Amelia nodded, laughing. “Where do we head from here?”

Vivian shook her head. “We head nowhere yet. Alpha Logan still had some answering of questions to do.”

“Can you lead me to him?” Vivian asked, looking up at me. She looked tired and exhausted. I was glad that she was going to rest after this whole thing. I just knew that she was never going to allow herself rest if i let her. And that was the reason why I had asked Enzo to continuously feed her.

“Sure, I can.”

Vivian turned back to look at Enzo. She couldn't stop herself from going to hug him, and he froze. She ended the hug, and he gave her a smile. He liked it. But of course, he was barely ever touched by anything except swords and blood.

“Thank you so much,” she said, as she hugged him again. “I don't know what I would have done without you here.”

I managed to pull her away from Enzo. “Are you catching feelings?” I asked, and she looked away, smiling as she shook her head.

“Come on, I need to show you where Logan is. I need to head back to my pack,” I said, and she nodded, handing her baby over to Amelia again.

“You don't want to hold him?” I asked, and she shook her head

“I don't want him going to places like the dungeon. He's too little for things like that.”

I nodded, leading her forward. I led her to the exact cell that I had asked my men to keep Logan. He had turned back to his human form. There were scratches all over his face. His left arm laid limply beside him as he laid on the floor. His eyes were half open, as he stared at the both of us.

Vivian shook her head. “I don't want him here. I want him in the last cell .”

“The punishment room?” I asked, and she nodded.

I smirked, and ordered my men to do that with the wave of a finger. Logan could t even argue or fight against their hold as they did so.

Vivian carefully inspected everything as they tied Logan to the chair that I was used to watching him torture people on.

Vivian leaned down.

“How does it feel?” She asked, and I could barely recognize her with the tone that she was using. “It's your turn to pay now. Not everyone is worth messing around with. Maybe in your next life you will learn that.”

“Are you going to kill him?” I asked her, and she turned to look at me, shaking her head.

“Absolutely not. He has some questions to answer before I would make a final decision on that.”

I nodded, watching her as she started up the grill that was in the corner of the room. I spotted the little scar that was on her arm.

“Was he the one that did that?” I asked, and she nodded, showing me the second one that was on her thigh.

“He killed my dad. Separated me from Amelia. And then tortured me. Let his sons torture me. Trust me, he doesn't deserve any kind of forgiveness.” I watched as her eyes slowly started to water.

I patted her shoulder, and she turned back to hug me. “He ruined my life, Alpha Kyle.”

I shushed her immediately. “You made things better for yourself in the end. You don't have to cry,” I said, and she nodded, raising her head.

“Do you want to sit back and watch while I ask him the questions?” She asked, and I nodded immediately. I wasn't stupid to refuse such an offer.
