Chapter 110 Pick a side bro!
Chapter 110: Pick A Side Bro!
“Why did you stop me from seeing Golden off Rema?” Octavia asked as she bit into an apple.
“Gosh Tavia, sometimes you are really stupid you know that right?” Rema said shaking his head.
“I didn't realize on time, but I think we must have lit a fuse. I noticed Golden's expression change when you were talking about Allan and Lindsay kissing.
She tried to hide it, but I think it got to her because she was struggling for control.
And then she asked you to see her off instead of Allan. Something is definitely going on between those two.”
“Oh I get it now. Remember I told you I overheard Lindsay by the elevator and saw her hugging Allan?
Well Gigi was there too but they didn't even know. I'm not sure how long she had been standing there but I saw her trying to get into the elevator and I rushed in after her.”
“OMG! Did she perhaps hear them and tried to get away, then I opened my big mouth again and blabber about what I had seen and heard?” Octavia slapped her forehead, a realization suddenly dawning on her.
“What the hell is Allan doing? Is he trying to lead two girls on? Golden obviously likes him and apparently Lindsay does too.
Honestly if he wasn't my brother, I would have beaten him up already. Playing two girls. How would he feel if some guy was playing with my feelings like he is doing to Lindsay and Gigi?” Octavia said beginning to get angry.
Rema shook his head, he agreed with what Tavia was saying. He loved his brother, but what he was doing was wrong.
It wasn't right to string two girls along most especially since he knew they obviously both liked him.
He just hoped Allan knew what he was doing and that things didn't blow up in his face and he ended up losing both of them.
Allan who had been standing outside for a while stepped into the ward. He had overheard his siblings.
Tavia stared at him with displeasure clearly written all over her face.
“What are you doing Allan?” She asked.
“Not cool bro, not cool. I love you but you are being a dickhead.”
Allan turned to Rema who was ignoring him. “Do you also think I'm a dickhead Rema?”
“Maybe not those exact words but yeah. You need to pick a side bro, you can't string both sides along.”
“You don't want to be that guy that plays around with girls feelings. Look I don't know how long you've known Lindsay, and we recently just met Golden but you need to make a choice.”
“He's right Allan. I personally like Gigi, not that I have anything against Lindsay. I think she's cool too, but I think you need to choose one of them and stick to your choice.
We would respect your choice no matter who you choose, but you need to make a choice.
And for heaven sake please stop dancing around in circles. Claim one girl and be done with it already.” Octavia said throwing her hands in the air.
“What she means is that if you are dating Lindsay then come out openly and admit it. And if it's Gigi, do same.
Stop avoiding the question when asked. It makes it seem like you are secretly dating both girls at the same time and that's why you are not claiming any of them for the fear of the other finding out.” Rema said calmly.
“Thank you! See, even 12 year olds have better clarity than you bro. How hard is it? How would you feel if some dude does to me what you are doing right now?”
Allan was speechless. He watched his younger brother and sister attack him from every angle and he was defenseless against their attacks.
Did he really lack clarity like they said? Was he really stringing both Lindsay and Golden along?
If some dude did same thing to Tavia, he would definitely break his jaw before warning him to stay clear of his sister.
If he felt like this at a mere possibility, then how exactly did Varney feel towards him? Throw in Alex and Fab for good measure, did they all want to murder him?
If his 12 year old siblings thought this way, how then were Golden's people thinking.
He felt a shudder just at the thought. Then there was Lindsay. He knew she had a big brother that adored her, although he had never met him, Trey had spoken about him once.
The problem was that he actually did like both ladies. That was a hard truth he had to tell himself.
Lindsay was his kind of girl. She had physique that turned heads everywhere. She was the kind of girl that would make other guys and ladies jealous.
It wasn't all about her physical appearance. She was also a very nice and sweet girl. She was gentle and calm and at the same time, a vibe to be around.
For Golden, she had a heart of gold. She had been around him in one of his most trying times and was a formidable rock.
She wasn't the typical rich and sassy heiress, if anything she was very humble and loving.
He felt at peace whenever he was with her and didn't have to put up any front. He could be himself with her.
It's just that he wasn't sure how his friends would react if he were to introduce her in his circle.
He didn't want them making fun of her body, and he didn't want her feeling bad or out of place.
He had watched her face backlash and bullying over the years because of her body and she only just got her confidence when Alex and Fab entered her life.
He didn't want to see her lose that light again. She might be able to withstand Linda's taunting, but Linda was a familiar devil.
How was she going to cope when other ladies she didn't know began to taunt her?
His friends although were cool, but they were a tad bit judgemental and would really scrutinize Golden if he ever did introduce her as his girlfriend.
He was only trying to protect her and that's why he didn't publicly acknowledge her.
Although he wasn't dating Lindsay, it would be easier for people to accept that they were an item because they moved in the same circle and Lindsay was Lindsay.
What he needed to do at the moment was try to clean up the mess he had created.
