Chapter 93
"Who are you?! What did you do to my aunt?!" Lyca roared. When the thick smoke cleared away, they could see the image.
"Hello, this is Madison. So throw out the claws and teeth..."
Lyca glare. "Did you look at yourself? Madison looks like a girl, but you don't "She replied, ignoring what the guy had said in front of them.
"Well, you tore my skin, so thank you. Now I have no choice but to go back to how I really look!" Madison replied as she calmly walked over to Lyca and Xavier.
"Wow! Dude! I didn't expect you're a hunk!" Xavier said with a laugh. He let his guard down when he saw Madison's strong body.
"Xavier! Are you crazy? Do you believe him?!" Lyca looked at Xavier in disbelief.
"My beautiful niece, aren't you happy that the girl you're jealous of is a dude?" Madison is making a snide comment as she walks to the fridge. He took an empty juice bottle and threw it at Xavier. "Michael is my real name..."
Lyca still doesn't believe it, but she is open to the idea that Luther could be telling the truth. "Why run away? Are you gay?" She asked as she looked Michael over from head to toe.
"Sally! Of course not! I have no choice... Men are seen by witches as their slaves. People who were born with balls don't have the right to do magic... So my mother, who is your grandmother, put a spell on me. That's how the story of Madison came to be "Michael spoke with a smile on his face as he explained.
"Thank goodness I wasn't born with these races," Xavier says with a skeptical shake of the head.
Michael nodded in agreement. "Ha Ha! Even though I'm in a bad situation, I'm still luckier than you because I'm still alive..."
"Ha Ha Ha! Funny! In this case, Lyca and I will make out!" Xavier said this with certainty.
Lyca just sighed as she watched the two of them talk. "Anyway, is this why you're always out here? Do you agree?"
Michael nodded. "Stop talking about my life, because it's not our main concern right now," he said, staring at Lyca. "You are... Right now, you and your crazy power are giving us trouble."
"That isn't the issue... The ritual is the problem for us. The day is changed by the priestess."
"...Night of tomorrow. I already knew that because my mom told me..." Michael answered in a calm way.
"Don't worry, Mom is doing everything she can to make sure the Priestess doesn't do anything wrong."
Lyca doesn't know why she feels so happy right now, but she can't explain it. "You must have something planned for tomorrow, right?" She answered back while shining.
"Of course! Our clan never swears to do something wrong. So, here's my plan:"
Xavier and Lyca paid close attention to everything Michael said. Since this plan is for their future, they are very determined and firm.

After a long time of planning, Lyca and Xavier left Madison's house. They were both quiet as they tried to figure out if Madison's idea was good.
"How do you feel? Can you do it?" As he led Lyca through the dark cave, Xavier asked with worry.
"It's for both of us, so I'll do everything I can to get through it." Lyca answered in a firm way.
Xavier can't answer because Lyca's safety is his top priority, and he's afraid that if he goes along with Madison's plan, he'll lose her.
"Don't worry, taking on the power of my ancestors is not that dangerous... My grandmother also won't let me go... She'll be with me to the end, "Lyca said this to make Xavier feel better. Even though he didn't say anything about it, she could feel his worry.
Xavier signed. "Are you sure that I can't go with you? What happens if you get lost again? Remember, you have too much power... Once you accept the power of your ancestors, I'm sure it will be harder for you to..." Xavier asserted. He got a tighter hold on Lyca's hand.
"I want you there, of course. But we can't go against our clan's rules. You can't come because you're not part of the family..." Lyca replied while giving Xavier's hand a squeeze.
Xavier took a deep breath when he heard this rule. He said, "Then I'll wait for you outside," but it was clear that he was feeling pressured.
Lyca gave a smile and a nod. "You are the first person I want to see, so it would be great if you could meet me after the blessing."
When they got back to the house where they were staying, Jaxson met them with awe as soon as they opened the door.
"What happened? What's bothering you this time?" With a frown, Xavier asked.
"What in the world do you mean? I'm always nice, and I don't get into trouble. And it's not me this time... It's Kai! He's in a lot of trouble!" Jaxson said this with his eyes getting bigger.
Xavier and Lyca looked at each other and were already trying to figure out what might have happened.
"My gut tells me it has something to do with Crystal and her strict grandmother, the Priestess..." Lyca replied as she walked over to the couch to sit down.
"Yes! I didn't know you had a palm reader." Jaxson was amazed and said so. "So what do we do?"
Xavier sighed as he sat next to Lyca. "It seems like the Priestess is starting to do something..."
"Why? Did we do something wrong? Will they get us just like they got Kai?" Jaxson asked this question with fear.
"You should get ready for that to happen, because it will. The Priestess is worried, so she is taking steps to make me do whatever she wants..." Lyca affirmed.
As Jaxson sat down next to Lyca, he spit out the saliva in his mouth. "I learned that Kai was put in the dungeon. Now they are hurting him."
Lyca gave it some thought. She couldn't save Kai because her grandmother could call for her at any time.
Xavier knew what was going through Lyca's mind. He stood up because of this. "My princess, is it okay that I won't be the first person you see after your ancestor's acceptance?"
Lyca signed and nodded. "We can't do anything else... If this ritual doesn't matter, I won't let you leave by yourself..."
"Wait! What are you saying? Don't you want to come? Liam and I are going to die! When it comes to witches, we can't do anything!" Jaxson was afraid.
Xavier took Jaxson by the hand and led him away. "Don't worry, I won't let you die..." he sneered.
Lyca was worried about the three people she cared about the most, but she couldn't help them even if she wanted to. Lyca hissed, "Wait for me," as she clenched her fist.
