Chapter 120 A New Clan
Chapter 120 A New Clan
Julia's POV
Seeing Blake resting, I quietly came out of the room. I was feeling uncomfortable, so I went out for a while.
Then I saw a bright light on the mountain that captivated me, and unknowingly, I began to follow the light. I didn't realize it until I stopped at the foot of the mountain.
"What? How did I come here? (Seeing the light) And, what's that?" I said seeing the aura lights in the sky.
Just then I heard some footsteps. I quickly summoned Rain of Illusions, and went to the side.
"Nodin, are you sure we can win? I mean, a city in the human world. Is that really possible?" A vampire asked.
"Ciro, that's something you don't have to worry about. But what about humans?" Nodin asked.
"Yes, the transformation is complete. Now they are half-blooded vampires. They are superior to us to an extent. They can bear the sunlight, but they can't control their anger. When they get angry, they lose their minds and will bite anyone in front of them. They won't even see who the person is. One, he bit his own mother, and sucked her dry out of blood." Ciro said in a hush voice.
"Doesn't matter. What do we care? Their relatives, they killed them, they will be blamed. Now, once they start increasing in the city and they get kicked out of their homes, and society, Then, our city will be the only place for them, and after the city fills, we will naturally take over the next, then the next, and the next. Soon, a whole state will be ours!" He began to laugh out loudly.
"Nodin, quiet down." A female said as she was looking around.
"Irina, what's the matter?" Ciro asked in a concerned voice.
"There's a spirit here. A strong spirit. A spirit that almost became immortal, but is not human. It is but it is not, I can't sense what it is." Irina said as she sensed me.
"Okay, if so, then let's go from here. Phantom Quenchers, let's go!" Nodin said as he led his vampires away.
As I came out, I sighed. "Oh my Moon Goddess, these vampires are making humans into half-blooded vampires. No, I should go and fast."
I leapt over the mountain and headed home.
"Blake! Blake!"
"Julia, what's the matter?" Blake came running and held me by my arms.
"What?? (Blake got shocked as I told him) Julia, we have to go right now." Blake said, concerned.
"I know, that's why I came back home. I can't go without you. Blake, from now I won't do anything without you." I said in a frank voice.
As we arrived at Ashstone Forest, I thought again everyone would stop us, but this time, they came and greeted us and took us to Gabriel's cottage.
"Blake! Julia!" Wade greeted us. "What brings you both here?"
"We came to meet Gabriel. Where's--" I was asking, as Gabriel's voice came from behind me.
"Julia, why are you looking for me?"
"Blake! Do you know about the Phantom Quenchers?" I asked in a hesitant voice.
"Phantom Quenchers? Not really, but I think they are new in town." Gabriel said in a curious voice.
As Blake told Gabriel and Wade what I told, Dustin, Dane, Denis and Claude also came.
"Good, I didn't bring Lily along. She would've gotten scared on hearing this." Denis said as he took a seat.
"Jenna, Isabella and the boys were sleeping so I came out." Dustin said as they came inside.
"Gabriel, if what Julia says is correct, then this is going to be a big matter." Dane said in a worried voice.
"Boys, we vampires are immortal, but every vampire has an age limit. Once you reach it, you have to follow it. The main stand is having a mate. And once you get a mate, you'r life is set. But immortal, as in will never die, and to increase the vampire population, that will be a tragedy. And if vampires take over, that will be an imbalance of the world." Gabriel said in a worried voice.
"Gabriel, what can we do?" Blake asked, concerned.
"Blake, to be honest, for now, the first thing is to keep an eye on them and find out how or where they are transforming the humans." Gabriel said in a worried voice.
"Yes, we need to know who's involved in transforming the humans, is it the full clan involved or a group."
"A group?" Denis asked confused.
"Yes, after being with Gabriel, now I also understand the terms. Not all vampires bite or drink blood. Especially pure blooded vampires like Shadow Outlaws and the elders. The elders are strict regarding this fact. The punishment is death." Wade said in a frank voice.
"What? Gabriel, is that true?" Denis asked concerned.
"Yes, It's the same as with you all. Wolves also don't hunt humans according to the treaty. The same goes for us, we also don't harm humans after the treat got signed. The reason vampires like me are pure blooded is, we don't have human blood in our system. And, after the treaty was signed, five hundred years ago, all vampires, elders included, have stopped drinking blood. That's why, now if the Phantom Quenchers are doing what Julia said, then the elders have to be informed."
"Okay, if this is the fact, then we'll dispatch our guardians to keep an eye on them, but where are they? I mean which city?" Claude asked in a curious voice.
"Sorry, I don't know. They didn't mention any city, but they only said beginning with one city and slowly taking over other cities." Julia said in a frank voice.
"Okay, we know one thing, they gathered over at the Mood Goddess mountain. Let's deploy the guardians and maybe they will come back. Then they can listen and maybe they'll take the name of the city. And, in case we don't get any names, at least they will be able to recognize them. We can find out who's who and then the ones who are responsible for transforming. Then we can deal with them and stop this from becoming a catastrophe that later may become a danger for us." Denis says concerned.
