Chapter 171 - Wanted by the Alpha Brothers

When we landed at the airport we had to get into more cars that were waiting for us but it was just a short drive to the Blue Moon Pack. I heard that's what they called themselves.

"Oh my god. I knew that you owned a large pack, But I never imagined it would be anything like this." Noah says looking out the window.

We saw people around everywhere. The town was bigger than his pack town. And as we kept driving we saw three different training grounds with hundreds of warriors training in each other them. Noah was amazed but I was a little terrified. I didn't know what to think.

"It's good to be home." Ivy says from the front seat of the car.

"Tell me about it. I hope my brothers haven't set fire to anything while we were away." Asher says.

"I don't think your brothers are the ones that we need to worry about anymore. I hope the kids didn't set fire to anything while we were away." Ivy says.

"Oh yeah. I forgot about them." Asher says. And Ivy hit him in the chest.

"I'm telling them you said that." Ivy teased.

"Oh shit. Please don't. Those monsters will attack." Asher pleaded.

We pulled up outside their packhouse and some guy came out to help Asher get the bags out of the car while Ivy took us inside and we went to the dining room.

"You guys must be hungry. Lunch won't be too far away." Ivy says. And then we heard footsteps come barreling down the stairs and we all turned to look at what it could be.

"Brace yourselves." Ivy says when kids started running into the room and they all ran over and hugged Ivy as she bent down to hug them too.

"Oh my god. They're so adorable." I say.

"This is Connor, he's 4, these two are Stella and Elsie, they're 3, this is Parker, he's 2 and this little bundle over here is Jesse. He's 4 months." Ivy says as a woman handed her the baby.

"You have five kids?" I asked shocked and looking her up and down again. She did not look like she had five kids at all.

"I know. People can't believe it. But they also don't realize that I train with the warriors. That's why I don't look like I've had five kids." Ivy explained.

"That does explain it a lot better." I say. Asher then came into the room and the kids tackled him as well and started jumping all over him and wanting his attention. Especially the girls.

"They are definitely daddy's little girl's." Ivy whispered to me.

"I can see them." I say. And Asher walked in holding both of the girls and the two boys were right by his side.

"Am I allowed to see baby Jesse?" Asher asked the girls'.

"No. You're mine." Stella says putting her arms around his neck and Ivy just smiled at him.

Once lunch was ready we all sat down at a long table to eat together and we were introduced to Asher's brothers Beau and Cole and their mates Zara and Freya. Freya is Ivy's sister. And we met the head warrior Axel and his mate Fiona. Apparently they were the people that we would be dealing with the most. So they joined us for lunch.

But when we finished eating Ivy changed the baby and put him in his stroller and Noah and I left the house with her and Freya and Zara and she took me on a tour of the grounds around the packhouse. It was a really beautiful area. Louisiana was a beautiful state, even though this was the first time I had ever been here.

They showed me around different areas of the place and the training fields and made sure that I was seen by most of the warriors so that they knew not to attack while they were on patrol or anything like that.

Ivy was a really great host. But the kids were running around like they had ADHD or something. No wonder she needed the other two women to help her with them all.

"All werewolf pups are like that. They look like they have ADHD but they don't. They just have way too much energy. It's insane." Ivy explained.

"I can see that. You've definitely got your hands full." I say.

"I know. I wouldn't have had them so close together if werewolf pregnancies lasted longer than just four months." Ivy says.

"Are you serious? That's how long we're pregnant for?" I asked.

"Yeah. Why?" She asked.

"That just seems really quick." I say.

"It is. And that's why it's so easy to get pregnant again before your first baby turns 1." Freya says.

"Do you two have any kids?" I asked.

"Yeah. I've got a 4 year old girl named Quinn." Zara says.

"I've got a 2-year-old son Patrick." Freya says.

"Yeah. We were smart and stopped at one. At least for now." Zara says.

"Oh shut up." Ivy says.

"Well, there's definitely no shortage of Alpha's to lead this pack when the time comes." Freya says.

"Exactly. Another four of them after Connor." Ivy say.

"This place is amazing. How far is your territory?" I asked.

"It's most of the state. We didn't go as far as New Orleans because that is a vampire town." Ivy explained.

"Do you think my father could be there?" I asked.

"If he's smart then that's where he'll go when he gets here. But we don't know what his plans are yet. And we need to get you trained." Ivy says.

"I'll be training with the warriors?" I asked nervously.

"Don't worry. I've put you in the same group as me. I'll be training you. Not those big ass scary men." Ivy says.

"Okay." I say letting out a breath.

"It's alright. No one here is going to treat you like an outsider." Ivy assured me.

"And are we going to stay at the packhouse with you and Asher?" I asked.

"For now. There's a house being set up in town here for you. You and Noah can move into it once it's ready." Ivy says.

"Wow. Do we even get our own house?" I asked.

"Yeah. You bet." She says.

That night as I was getting out of the shower in our ensuite bathroom I walked into the bedroom to get dressed and Noah walked in.

"How did everything go today?" I asked.

"Really good. Alpha Asher wants us both to finish high school which I can understand. But other than that, he is going to start me working part time after school with the engineering team." Noah explained.

"Baby, that's great. You wanted to be an engineer." I say.

"Yeah. It'll be better than being a janitor like my dad or a cook like my mom." He says.

"Don't knock your parents. They're great people." I say.

"I know that. But I didn't want to be a janitor." He says.

"Yeah. I know that." I say.

"I'm gonna get a shower and then get to bed. We're starting school tomorrow." He says.

"Alright." I say climbing into the bed.

The following morning when Noah and I went downstairs we saw that something wasn't right. There were people scattered around everywhere and I didn't recognise anyone. But then Freya walked into the room and I grabbed her arm.

"What's going on around here?" I asked her.

"I don't know if I should really tell you. It's not my place." Freya says.

"Well, mindlink Alpha Asher. There's definitely something going on." Noah says. So we watched Freya as her eyes glazed over and she conversed with Asher.

"Alright. Come with me." Freya says reluctantly.

So we followed her outside and she took us into the woods. I was really nervous and Noah grabbed my hand and squeezed it so I would calm down a little and I knew that he was right by my side.

We walked all the way to the border and it was surrounded by warriors and I saw Asher and Ivy at the front of the pack.

The warriors got out of the way to let us through and when we got to the front I stopped in shock when I finally realized what all the commotion was about.

There were bodies lined up along the boarder. Each of them had two little prick marks in their necks which obviously indicated vampires.

"Their humans." Noah says.

"Yeah. Looks like there's a message." Asher says.

"This is because of me. Because they want me." I say.

"No. This is because your father is a sick bastard and thinks that this is the only way that we will hand you over." Ivy says.

"You're not going to?" I asked. And she looked at me in shock and disbelief.

"Of course we're not handing you over. We've dealt with more crap than this. We're not letting a couple of vampires scare us. Yeah, we're pissed about these humans. But that doesn't mean that we're going to give you up." Ivy says.

"What are you going to do about my father?" I asked.

"I think a meeting might be in order. Since he obviously got our attention." Asher says.

"That could have been his intention the whole time. Just to get our attention." Ivy says.

"Alright. I'll set up the meeting." Asher says.

"How are you going to find him?" I asked.

"We have our ways of contacting people. Don't worry about it. Freya, can you take them back to the house now?" Asher asked. And she nodded.

We started walking through the woods back to the packhouse when suddenly I stopped and I ran behind a tree and I threw up. Noah came rushing around and grabbed my hair and started rubbing my back.

"Those innocent people died because of me." I say.

"You heard what Ivy said. It's not because of you. It's because your father is deranged." Noah says.

But I leaned against the tree and slid to the ground and I couldn't help but let the tears start flowing from my eyes and Noah leaned in to hug me.

"I swear baby. Everything will be alright. I promise." Noah says. And I heard Freya walk up beside us. But she didn't say anything. She just stood there. And they both let me get it out. My father did that. My father murdered those people and now they were going to have a meeting with him. Was I going to be at the meeting? Was I going to come face to face with my father? I don't know if I can handle that. But I guess we'll see soon enough.
