Chapter 167 - Wanted by the Alpha Brothers

I woke up the next morning in the same suite of that hotel but in the spare bedroom and I looked around confused at first. But then I started remembering the events of last night. Everything that I was told. About my family, about my old pack, what my mother had done. And that I was with Ivy and Asher Silverton. I think that last part is the one that I couldn't get my head around.

I got out of bed slowly and walked towards the door and into the suite and I saw Asher sitting at the table reading something on his phone.

"Hi. I hope you're hungry. I ordered extra room service. I wasn't sure what you liked to eat." Asher says putting his phone down.

"I really like anything." I say and I go to sit down at the table. I look around and realize that we're in this suite completely alone.

"Ivy's gone on her morning jog. She does it every morning." Asher says without me needing to ask. I guess I looked a little uncomfortable sitting here alone with him.

"What time is it?" I asked.

"A little after 11am. You were pretty tired after last night. It doesn't surprise me though. Shifting for the first time is always really exhausting. Ivy can help you get it under control if you want." Asher explained.

"I think I need to learn how to walk and run like a wolf first. I kept falling over last night." I say. And Asher chuckled.

"Yeah. That happens too. It comes naturally to some people. But you weren't brought up in a pack. So the whole experience is new for you." Asher explained.

The door then opened and Ivy came in wearing a black and white sports bra and long black and white tights and sand shoes.

"Morning." She said and she walked over and kissed Asher.

"Hey. How was your jog?" Asher asked.

"Brilliant. I ran past three construction sites." Ivy smirked at him.

"Yeah. I bet that was a complete coincidence too." Asher says side eying her.

"Oh hell no. I love the wolf whistles. No matter how many kids I pop out, it's good to know that I've still got it." She said, teasing him.

"I could have told you that." Asher said, pulling her onto his lap.

"Yeah. But you're biased on the subject...Regan. How did you sleep?" Ivy asked.

"Really good. That bed is so comfortable. But, I really should be at school now. Noah is going to be worried about me. He saw my mother going ballistic last night." I explained.

"He called your phone this morning. I answered it and told him that I was a friend of yours and that you stayed with me last night. He's coming here after school." Ivy explained.

"Oh. So, he's not worried. That's a relief." I say starting to eat my breakfast.

"Well, I need to shower and change." Ivy says going to the master bedroom.

Asher and I didn't really have much to talk about but he started getting a lot of calls and he bought his laptop out and it sounded like he was doing work over the phone.

When Ivy came out of the bedroom dressed she saw Asher in the other room working and she made two coffee's for us and we sat on the balcony and she lit a smoke.

"So, do you want to go to your mother's house today to get your belongings?" Ivy asked me.

"I don't know if I can face her." I say.

"I know that it's going to be hard. But I will be there with you. And Asher will be. She won't hurt you. You can say whatever you want to her. Accuse her of whatever the hell you want." She tells me.

"So, you're giving me permission to abuse the crap out of my mother?" I asked her.

"That's up to you and your mother. We're just there as back up in case she tries anything." She says.

"Alright. I want to wait for Noah though. He should come with us." I say. And she nodded her head. She wasn't even attempting to argue with me about that.

I had heard so many things about Ivy and Asher that actually terrified me. I never knew that I was a werewolf and they were out there killing other werewolves that were so much scarier and crazier than themselves. I thought they honestly were really dangerous people.

But that's not the feeling that I'm getting right now. They aren't dangerous at all. They saved my life last night. They brought me here to safety because they knew that my mother was an abusive drunk. I know that I don't trust many people, but I trust Ivy. I can't explain the feeling that I am getting from her right now. I just know that everything is alright. Everything is going to be alright. Even with my mother. I might actually get a chance at a life now.

We stayed at the hotel until Noah arrived there and when he did I opened the door and the second I saw him, I caught a smell. A smell I had never smelt before. It was strange. Vanilla and rasberries. My breath hitched when I saw Noah standing there and I grabbed the door frame to steady myself and he was looking at me with wide eyes.

"Your wolf." He says. And I nod my head so he grabs me in his arms and spins me around in the air.

"You are my mate." I say when he finally put me down.

"You don't know anything about werewolves. How do you know that I'm your mate?" He asked.

"Because they told me." I say pointing back into the hotel. And that's when Ivy and Noah stood up from the couch.

"Oh my god. Alpha, Luna. It's such a pleasure to meet you." Noah says baring his neck for some reason.

"It's alright Regan. That's just a sign of respect for Alpha's and Luna's." Ivy explained to me. And I nodded.

"So, they told you everything?" Noah asked.

"Probably not everything. Ivy said that she didn't want to overload me. Which I am thankful for. But she did tell me a lot. I shifted last night. It really hurt and I didn't know what was happening." I explain to him.

"I could feel that you were in pain. Your wolf and my wolf can connect with each other. My wolf is trying to get to your wolf right now. He's going crazy in my head." Noah says.

"You can hear your wolf?" I asked.

"Yeah. You can't?" Noah asked.

"No. It's just me." I say. And I look at Ivy and Asher. But they were looking at each other. Like they knew something or at least knew that something wasn't right.

"That's alright. It'll come in time." Noah says hugging me again.

"Why didn't you tell me any of this?" I asked.

"Because I was afraid that you wouldn't believe me or that you would be scared of me and leave me. I couldn't bear any of those things happening. So, I just kept it to myself. I knew you were my mate and I kept you close after that." Noah explained.

"I thought this relationship started off really intense. I just thought that was normal." I say. And he chuckled.

"No. Not really. But now you see why." Noah says. He's been feeling this way for the last year and couldn't even show it. That must have really killed him. I don't know how he managed to cope for a whole year.
