Chapter 168 - Wanted by the Alpha Brothers
This feeling that I am having towards Noah right now is insanely intense. Like I just can't step away from him. I don't want to stop touching him. I feel sparks under my hands everywhere that I touch him and I can't get enough of it. It's incredible.
"Well, we should get going." Asher says.
"Where are we going?" Noah asked.
"To my house to get my things. Ivy and Asher won't let me stay there with mom anymore. There's a lot about her that neither of us know about. I don't want to stay there anymore. I can't." I tell Noah. And he nodded completely agreeing with me.
So we all went downstairs and we got into a waiting car that was out the front of the hotel and Asher drove to my house.
We pulled up out the front but I wanted to go in first. And Noah insisted that he came with me. That would be fine. But I needed to talk to my mother first.
As soon as we stepped in the front door I had to dodge a beer bottle that was thrown at my head and it hit next to the door.
"Where the fuck have you been?" Leah screamed as I walked through the door and then she saw Noah walking in behind me. And she scoffed.
"Of course that's where you were. Off with your boyfriend. Why shouldn't I be surprised, you little tramp." Leah yelled.
"Leah. That's enough." Noah yelled back.
"You know that your father has been here looking for you? He was here last night? Why the hell is that prick back in our lives now? How the hell does he know where we are? What have you done you bitch?" Leah screamed.
"I could ask you the same thing? But I don't expect you to tell me all about your obsession with your old Alpha and the people you killed to get them out of the way." I yelled back at her. And she stopped and stared at me in shock.
"Who the hell told you that?" She asked.
"That doesn't matter. I just know that you killed 7 people. At least 7 people that they could connect to you. I also know that I am a werewolf. And my father is a vampire. And I am packing my things and leaving this house now. And I am never coming back." I insisted, staring Leah in the face.
"Don't forget who I am bitch. I am your mother and no one will take you away from me. No one." She screamed. But then the door opened behind us and Ivy and Asher walked in.
Mom noticed them immediately and stumbled back. But they barely even looked at my mother.
"Regan. It's gonna be dark soon. We need to hurry. Before your father comes back." Ivy says.
"Come on. I'll help you." Noah says, grabbing my hand and taking me upstairs.
We gathered all my things together in one bag and I looked out the window as the sun was setting and I didn't realize that it had gotten so late. It had taken longer to get to my house from the hotel then I thought.
While we were in my room we didn't hear any noise coming from downstairs. Leah wasn't making a sound. I finally found something that would shut her up completely. And what a relief, it was Ivy and Asher.
When we finally got downstairs Leah was sitting on the couch looking really nervous and she looked at me with nothing but hatred in her eyes and I could tell that she would never forgive me for leaving her. Not that I really cared. I knew right away that I would probably never see her again anyway.
We got in the car and as we left the house I didn't even look back. I just snuggled into Noah in the backseat as I was watching the sun go down in the distance and it was getting really dark now.
We were suddenly jerked forward when Asher slammed the breaks in the middle of the road that would have left massive marks on the road.
When I composed myself I saw three men standing across the road in front of us. And it didn't take a genius to figure out who they were. They were vampires. They were looking for me. They wanted me.
