Chapter 871 The Car Accident

Chapter 871 The Car Accident

Tiffany's eyes sparkled with warmth as she earnestly tried to comfort Leon.

“Nobody wants to deal with something like this, but it's already happened, and there's nothing we can do about it now. I'll stand by you and face this together.”

She blinked, her face full of determination.

Leon listened and met Tiffany's gaze, seeing the resolve and decisiveness in each other's eyes.

They both had their own ideas about this situation and were determined not to give up because of it.

“Alright, alright. I don't think it's such a big deal. There's no need to dwell on it.”

With that, Leon started the car and headed to the hospital.

The atmosphere was heavy compared to before, and Tiffany, although she didn't want such things to happen, knew there was no other option. After all, no one wanted to face these circumstances.

When they arrived at the hospital, they hurried to the room, where they saw Alfonso lying on the bed with his agent, Jace, standing nearby.

Upon hearing the commotion, Jace looked up and greeted them.

“Mr. Cooper, you're here.”

Jace stepped out, looking troubled, and joined them outside.

Leon’s face was serious, showing no emotion.

“What happened today? I need an explanation.”

His voice was low and firm.

Jace hesitated before sighing.

“I don't even know where to start.”

“There was a car accident on the way here. It wasn't extremely serious, but it's still not looking good. The hospital says Alfonso needs to stay here for at least a week.”

“Mr. Cooper, this is definitely our fault, but we didn't expect this to happen. Now that it has, we're trying to minimize the damage as much as possible.”

Jace's face showed anxiety, especially when he glanced at Leon, clearly nervous.

Tiffany noticed and quickly spoke up to comfort him.

“Feeling sad or scared won't help now. We need to handle the situation.”

“Don't worry, we're not here to interrogate you.” Her voice was gentle.

Jace nodded, his tone apologetic.

Leon frowned deeply. “Since this has happened, contact our partners immediately and apologize. See if there's any compensation needed and address it quickly to avoid bigger problems.”

Jace nodded quickly. “We've already taken care of most of that.”

“We were worried about affecting others, so we acted swiftly, but there's still a significant impact.”

“Mr. Cooper.” Jace looked at him seriously.

“Since joining the company, we haven't done much for it, and now this has happened.”

“You…”

“Enough.”

Leon’s tone was calm as he looked at Jace.

“It’s already happened. No point in hesitating. Handle it as needed.”

Jace nodded and glanced back at Alfonso.

“We’ll manage this. But we have a lot of work on our hands, and I'm afraid we might not be able to keep an eye on Alfonso.”

Tiffany watched, her emotions complex.

When the conversation was nearly over, she suddenly spoke up, “If Alfonso's event is in a week, can we consider having him attend?”

She looked earnestly at Leon.

Leon thought for a moment and nodded, though his face showed some exhaustion.

Tiffany took his hand. “You've been dealing with Freya's issues a lot lately. Why not let me handle this? I'll arrange for someone to take care of Alfonso.”

“Your company has a lot to deal with right now. With all the work you've given him, stopping everything now would waste everyone's efforts. Let me handle the less complicated tasks, okay?”

She looked at Leon, gently tugging his hand.

Even though Leon appeared calm and composed in front of everyone, Tiffany knew he wasn't as strong as he seemed.

Facing so many issues, it was natural to feel overwhelmed, a normal human emotion.

Jace noticed their interaction and felt awkward.

“Mr. Cooper, I'll go check on Alfonso. The doctor called me earlier.”

Seeing Leon nod, Jace turned and left.

After he left, Leon turned to Tiffany and said seriously, “You've already helped me a lot, and you have your own things to handle. If we stop this work, it’ll waste the efforts of everyone in our studio.”

“If we don't stop, there's still a lot to handle. I don't want to push everything onto you.”

Tiffany's eyes were full of warmth, and she felt relieved hearing this.

“I know you're under a lot of pressure. These things need handling, and you're stretched thin.”

“Leave this to me. You've helped me a lot before. We're married, no need for formalities.”

“Or do you not see me as one of your own, still being polite now?”

She pouted, looking displeased.

Leon shook his head and hugged her tightly, speaking earnestly.

“I would never think that. If you can help, that’s the best.”

“Alfonso needs someone to keep an eye on him. I wouldn't trust just anyone. He's still young.”

“If you can send someone, that’s great. If not, we'll find another way.”

Tiffany nodded. “Don't stress over this.”

“Sometimes what looks like bad luck might turn out to be good. Don't overthink it, okay?”
