CHAPTER 53- making a deal with the devil

CHAPTER 53

ALLISON'S POV

I couldn't hide the fact that I missed my son so much that I could do literally anything to have him back in my arms, but the deal was very tempting, having to give up my people for my son, that's a whole load of sacrifice. My parents, Christian, Xavier and the whole Basin city.

"What are you thinking of doing?" My wolf uttered as I shivered walking away from the door, I knew something was wrong, maybe it had words for me that would sort out the raging thoughts in my mind.

"I'm thinking of agreeing to his deal"I divulged knowing that it was the best thoughts I had at this point, I couldn't hide the fact that this was the best feeling ever. Seeing myself getting closer to my child and the shivers it brought to my body knowing that I could be putting my pack in a whole new world of hurt.

"That would mean that you would ditch your people, that would be treason" she was right but I had no choice, I loved treason as long as it would bring my child back to me, my mind had nothing else working aside the thoughts of having my child, getting closer to him and holding him in my hands.

"Well that's not actually treason, that's sacrifice for a greater course, my son's my eternal desire and I have no choice than to make those sacrifices for him" I had to lay out my reasons for accepting this deal, I had no choice.

"You don't have to do this to your people, have a rethink on this path that you're about to tread on, it's very dangerous and don't come back regretting" it warned, I cared less about the words of my wolf, I wanted my child and nothing was going to stop me from going to him or having him in my arms before the full moon festival.

"I can't regret an act that I know would lead me to my son, he's all I have in this world right now" I stuttered, feeling happy about my words.

"What about Xavier, he doesn't mean a lot to you, He's changed and you've grown to love him, don't you think of what they would do to him once they have that upper hand that you would give to them" I sighed.

"It's a payback for all the pains that he caused me, the trauma that he put me through and all the scars that he left on my body. He laid his hands on me, used me against my own will. You know he should deserve whatever what would come to him" I sighed at the fact that I couldn't do anything to deserve what was coming to him.

"Well he asked you for forgiveness, and you forgave him" She stuttered in a mild tone, I couldn't deny the fact that I truly forgave him but the love for my child brought back all the hate and disdain I felt for him.

"Yeah pains heal but scars remain, and those scars have led me into making that decision that would hurt him and a whole lot of people" I chortled knowing how it even amused me knowing that my people would be in pain while I go after my child and make sure he comes back to me, I can think of saving my people from him.

"You know this would be disastrous if they don't succeed with their plans, don't be surprised when everything goes Southside, Xavier would hate you the more and that would even be worse for you and your child"

"Just shut it and don't speak again, I can't think straight with your voice bugging my head" I was even pissed at the fact that my wolf couldn't stop talking about having a rethink on my decision.

"I can't let you go through this evil path"

"Well it's my cross to carry" I growled, wondering why I was feeling scared of all a sudden.

"I don't think you can carry it without my help, I don't want to be helping you when I know I warned you against it" trying to have me fooled, I couldn't let that happen, knowing how my life would be miserable without my son by my side, I would love to be exiled with my son at my side. It would be the best feeling ever.

"Well I don't need your help" I growled as I walked out of the room.

"You shouldn't do this, think about it" it stuttered as I walked into the courtroom.

I was even shocked that I didn't even stay a day, merely minutes after the deal was brought to me.

"Wow that's really fast so tell me what your decision is" I was a bit surprised when he was fast about knowing what my decision was.

I was a bit perplexed as I felt possessed like I was a whole different person.

"What's your name?" I inquired wearing a smile on my face.

"I'm alpha Connor, why are you asking?" He responded, I felt like not talking but I was forced to talk,

"I've read a lot of storied about you. My husband's father was the one that solely brought you out of the shit hole and gave you a post as his Beta isn't that right?" I stuttered, as the ministers looked at each other all murmuring at the words that they were listening to.

"We're here to talk about the deal and not some past history that I definitely want to forget" he growled as he clenched his fists on his throne, I was a bit scared feeling controlled.

"Well you can do that when I'm done speaking" I was even surprised at this boldness.

"So Alpha Connor, you have quite the history with women, you should know that you're just a wolf acting like a sheep" I continued, staring straight into his eyes.

"Well glad that you knew that so tell me what your answer is, are you giving me what I want or I should go ahead and tell the captors to go on with the killing" He chortled,

"You're wrong, my child can't be killed now, it's on the full moon festival so don't you put out words that are false" I was hating the fact that I was controlled by an unknown spirit.

"Hey firstly you'll have to give me a paper and a pen" I demanded for a pen and a paper staring at the Guard who stood beside me,

"What do we need that for?" one of the ministers inquired,

"Well as a proof to my terms and conditions" I uttered wearing a smile on my face.

"What terms?" He was a bit perplexed listening to my voice.

"My terms are as follows, you're only taking Basin city until I'm back with my child and when I arrive you'll leave, secondly you'll not harm anyone in the pack especially my immediate family and lastly you'll have to punish Xavier a little" I uttered staring at the smile on his face as he heard the words punish Xavier a little.

"That's really hard to decide for me" he stuttered, well whatever he does to Xavier he wouldn't kill him.

"In that case if you don't want your name to be written as the only man who had Basin city for days or months before he let them go freely" these words just flew out of my mouth uncontrollably.

"That sounds a bit catchy, I like the sound of that. Have it prepared and leave when you're back you'll receive a letter with the directions to your son" I was glad when he agreed to my words.

"Not really, it's an exchange... Once you have signed and I have signed that would be the seal I guess." I was even happy that whoever possessed was very smart.

"Are you saying that you don't trust me?"

"I can..can never trust a fellow like you" at this point I understood I was the one speaking and not anyone else.

"Bring it to me once you're done writing your terms and conditions" he agreed to my words.

"In that case I guess we have a deal" I chortled.

"That's really smart of you, you had him rocked hard on his seat and even made him smile with your words" My wolf startled me,

"That wasn't me"

"What do you mean?" I guess I wasn't the only one surprised at the manner in which my conversation went.

"I feel like I'm being controlled, I can't even remember the words that I said out there" I uttered wondering if she had an idea.

"That's really hard to believe"

"Well I guess but I'm serious with my words." I uttered as I wrote out all the terms and conditions, loving the fact that this was actually happening. Having my pack and my own child as well.

I walked over to the King's throne, he was eating his apples. The ministers were a bit eager to know if he truly signed it.

"Well where's the map to the castle?"
