CHAPTER 52

XAVIER'S POV

"What in the world are you doing here and how did you get into this castle?" I was shocked to see my uncle, he was the Alpha of Devil's city, he was a monster hence he named his kingdom after his terror and wickedness, my father had him banished for his atrocities, he left with his accomplice and formed a pack far east. His victories were heard through the lips of foreigners but that didn't scare my father, it made him extra cautious and on occasions he tried to attack our forth, we always had the upper hand and defeated him.

This time was different, the tables changed... I was so confused as to how he managed to get into the castle without being seen by the guards and with his men standing around me.

"Hey you don't have to get yourself all worked up, I'm just here to prove one thing to you" he uttered as he tossed away my father's crown.

"Which is?" I was a bit perplexed wondering what he would say next.

"You don't have allies, you have enemies... Everyone in this castle and beyond hates you and if they have any chance to betray you they would" he chortled, as everyone mocked me, I knew he was lying, trying to play with my thoughts. I couldn't let him get away with this.

"That's a white lie, everyone loves me and no one can betray me" I retorted, trying to get back to my feet, staring at the spears being pointed to me on different sides, I sat back down on the ground.

"You see the reason why I said you're foolish, you don't have the ability to rule, your father died with his skills in his grave, he didn't pass them unto you" He was getting me pissed with his words, he was the same old uncle I had... Always insulting my father and his family, like he never got tired of doing it.

"Yeah right, you can talk all you want, take what you want and leave" I uttered hoping that he was just here for a visit, his departure was my only wish right now.

"We can't take it, we're here to claim it. We're taking over Basin City" at the mention of this words, my heart throbbed knowing that this was his heart long decision and I couldn't deny the fact that he had achieved it.

"That's insane, Guards!!"

"Guards!!!" I was shocked that no one was responding, wondering where Christian would be at this time.

"I think they're all asleep, they don't care about you... No one even loves his duty hence I helped them to rest... They're not dead" He divulged, wearing an evil smirk on his face.

"You ingrate,"

" I wouldn't do that if I were you" he warned as I tried hard to stand to my feet, staring at the spears piercing through my shoulders.

"You'll definitely pay for this"

"You know, I was the one that had your father in the position he was before he died... You should know about your sister right"

"Yeah I guess as much, your sister and you are the last survivors of your generation, how sad. I should kill you now and let your wife kill your sister, that would make it even"

"What are you saying?"

"Sorry to say this, but Allison your fiance walked up to me and we had a nice deal. She gave me your city in exchange for her son's life, Your sister is building a forth of her own but i guess Allison would take over after killing her"

"You would never get away with this,"

"Have him tied up and shut his mouth, I wanna take a tour around my new castle" He uttered as he walked up to me.

"Your father wouldn't be proud to know that this happened on your watch" I gave him a hard head bud on his lips, staring at the blood on his lips I wore a smile on my face.

"Fuckkkkk" I groaned as I fell down to the floor, I didn't see the back heel kick coming. It had me rocked to my knees.

"You should never hit your Alpha Slave" he uttered as he walked out of the courtroom, I was being led into the dungeons, surprise to see Christian face bruised.

"What the fuck happened?" I sighed as I got closer to him, I was happy that the mines didn't actually blow him up.

"You should have known that everyone around you hated you" his words were a bit complex, wondering who hated me, well I knew that Allison hated me for what I did, but I didn't have any reason for anyone to hate me.

"Including you?" I was wondering if he was among the haters.

"Now I hate you because you're so full of yourself , don't ever take advise from your folks, you do what's in your mind and see where it have us now... This shit hole we're slaves" He growled, staring at the bruises on his face and the tears in his eyes.

"We're not slaves, we're only locked up" I tried to convince him,

"If it wasn't for these chains on my hands and legs I would have given you a hard blow maybe that's what you need for a brain reset" he retorted,

"So Allison ditched me" I was pissed after all for even agreeing to Aurora's plan, I should have turned a new leaf completely.

"Yes how many times did you ditch Allison? You had her locked up in the dungeons, your uncle has you locked up... Karma is a fucking bitch," he scoffs mocking me, since karma had me too, it definitely had Christian too.

"Karma also caught up with you" I stuttered,

"Nope I'm only here because I made a fool of myself by not accepting to join your uncle's army, I never knew he had his army around the wall of the castle." he divulged, at this point I was really surprised. Christian stood for me even when he knew that this was how it was going to end. I knew I could always count on him, but I couldn't discover that trait in me that makes everyone wants to betray me.

"What are we going to do?" I sighed and laugh at the fact that maybe we could have a way out of these chains and this cells.

"Going to do? We're locked up... You can't even move in these chains" he retorted,

"We're fucking dead meat" he screamed into my ears, making me to shudder,

"You should have alerted me about My uncle" I uttered staring into his eyes,

"What would you have done? Fight against him and ten thousand soldiers on foot. You would be killed before you kill a dozen men" He chortled, I didn't actually know what his army were made of.

"I'm fast and so strong" I stuttered,

"Get yourself out of these chains then" I tried touching them, I groaned as I realized that they were made of silver, there's no use of trying to free myself, I would only burn out my skin.

"I don't really know what name to address you as, you always want to try out even when they tell you it's wrong" He sighed in a mild tone.

"That's increasing my wisdom" I chuckled,

"That's so weird and not wise so keep that in mind" he retorted, I was a bit perplexed knowing that Christian couldn't even respect me because we're placed in the same cell.

"What do you think could push Allison into betraying us?"

"She didn't betray me, she betrayed you and that's because you didn't actually take care of that lady, you showed her so much wickedness that she had no choice than to betray you"

"You're coming with us" I was shocked when the guards dragged me in these chains, hurting my wrists. I was a bit perplexed when my uncle stood beside the dark Hallway.

"Why's here so dark?" He inquired staring into the dark hallway.

"It's an abandoned part of this castle" I stuttered, trying to get him scared knowing that those rooms were just stores used to conceal old and worn out items in the castle.

"What's in the rooms?" he asked,

"I don't know you find out for yourself" I uttered immediately as he punched me right on my left jaw,

"You should learn to mind the manner in which you speak to me, slave... I wished your father was in these shoes and not you" the guards held me from falling.

"Fuck, you should know that your punches are not hard enough to make me feel pain... You punch like a cunt"

"Get him on his knees" I was a bit confused when his son punched me right on my chin, I didn't see that coming.

"You don't speak to my father in that manner" he shoved his knee right on my nose.

"Well where were you when your father begged my father for a position in the castle, if he wasn't given that position he would still be a commoner and you'll be a sorry little whimper" I spat out the blood unfolding in my lips.

"You bastard!!!!"
