Lady Priya

Lady Priya
Sicilia

I must have forgotten to mention it earlier, but Lady Priya is one of the ladies called a complete package, meaning a heavily endowed woman. Her skin was milky, and her lips pink, she's a lady you wouldn't pass by without admiring her body and beauty.

“Is there something I can help you with, my lady?” I asked her with a polite voice. Although she was beautiful and looked friendly, I couldn't afford to mix with my nemesis. The same set of people who treated me like trash just because I was an orphan.

“There’s no need to be formal around me. Call me Priya, I think my name sounds better that way,” Lady Priya replied with a gentle smile.

“Humm, right,” I muttered with a grimace, and we both maintained silence.

‘Oh come on! Say what you have on your mind, woman, I ain't got time to play around!” I growled in my mind, looking at Priya's face with arched brows.

Priya's smile faltered for a moment, but she regained her composure. “I saw the way you spoke to my brother earlier,” she said.

I was surprised, does she mean it in a good or bad way? Of course, it's in a bad way! Or will she be happy that I insulted her brother?” I reasoned, my eyes fixed on hers. She must have noticed the tension growing inside me.

“Oh, there's no need to be scared,” Priya coaxed me.

‘I am not scared! A woman who has seen and dined with the devil can never be scared!’ I thought.

“I am surprised, Lady– I mean Priya, if by any chance you think I have disrespected you or your brother, please forgive me,” I replied politely, and the smile on Priya's face broadened.

“You have not disrespected us. I personally like your energy, that's why I need your help,” Priya said.

My brows furrowed, and I wondered if she needed my help with something mischievous. “What do you need my help with?”

Priya took a deep breath and sat down on a desk, “In a few days, my mother will return to this pack, and if she finds out that my brother, Ken is still single, she will surely give him out to one of her cruel friends, and that might make my brother more ruthless,” she explained, and I listened attentively, nodding my head to show that I was following her story.

“I’ve known you for a few hours, but I liked the way you handled Ken and Elder Williams. I think you're the perfect one for this job,” Priya whispered, looking around to make sure no one was eavesdropping on our conversation.

I arched my brows still not getting her point. “Perfect one for which job?” I asked suspiciously. Then different scenes played out in my head, and I imagined Priya and I laughing at Ken's corpse. ‘She must want him dead! I was right, after all, she wants a Northern pack for herself.’

But Priya shocked me with her words. “I want you to seduce my brother into falling in love with you or just act like you're both together so that my mother will get off his back for a while,” she whispered to me, and I froze.

I was so shocked that I kept looking at her for what seemed like hours.

“You might think of yourself as a slave, but I think you'll be able to carry out this job. In return, I will reward you bountifully, but no one must know about what we discussed,” Priya continued.

“You don't want him dead?” I whispered under my breath, and Priya raised her eyebrow.

“Huh, what did you ask?” She asked curiously.

“Humm, nothing, I am just shocked. I can't even think right now, this is a lot to take in,” I replied sincerely. Of course, it was a lot to take in! I assumed she needed my help to eliminate Ken, who would have thought that she wanted me to seduce him.

~
‘I can't seduce him, I came here to eat his fresh heart, not for some romance nonsense!’ I said to myself as I sat on my bed, everyone was asleep and the room was dark, but I couldn't sleep, and I didn't know what to do.

Priya's words replayed in my head as she tried to convince me. “I will give you till tomorrow to think about this, after breakfast tomorrow, please give me an answer,” she said with a smile.

I shook my head, not wanting to give her hope. “I think this is a bad idea, Priya. I am not capable of loving anyone, his mistresses will be perfect for this job.”

Priya had an assuring smile on her face. “Ken’s mistresses are simply after his money and position, my brother wouldn't spare a gaze on them. Also, you don't have to fall in love with him, just have his trust. Be his haven.”

“His haven? His trust?” I murmured, and anger filled my heart as I remembered how Ken had told assassins to murder me in my past life. “My revenge would be sweeter if he thought of me as a haven,” I reasoned, but I wasn't sure if I should agree. My other option was to ask the devil, Dracula, for his suggestion, but I was in no mood to see that cunning man.

I tossed and turned, my mind racing with Priya's proposal and the memories of Ken's betrayal.

"Easy revenge or bitter yet sweet revenge?" I whispered to myself.

Suddenly, a dark figure materialized in my room, he was resting his back on my window, his eyes fixed on the small knife in his hands.

"Frank," I said, recognizing the devil's son's presence.

Frank looked happy to see me and he smiled broadly. “Cilia, my dear, it's such an honor seeing you,” he said with his usual sweet voice.

Although I wasn't intimidated by people, Frank had an aura that demanded some kind of respect, he was a Demon Prince after all.

“How did you enter?” I asked him with a plain voice, trying to hide what was bothering me.

“How I entered?” He furrowed his brows at my question, “Sicilia, have you forgotten that I am a demon, I can enter or possess whatever I like.”

I nodded as if remembering something, “I mean what are you doing here? You can't just barge into a lady's room!” I growled at him, trying to transfer my aggression.

“A lady's room? Or my bad. I never knew this was a lady's room, I thought I was in the slave's quarters,” he replied with a taunting smile.

“It's not your fault! Now what do you want?” I asked, trying to keep my voice low so that the other ladies wouldn't walk up.
