Chapter 239 Chapter 239
Six months later, the house was filled with laughter again. The sound of Liam’s tiny footsteps running around the living room brought so much joy to everyone. Aunty Lisa sat on the couch, smiling as she watched him play with his toy cars.
Savannah, now heavily pregnant, sat beside her with a glowing smile. Her baby bump showed clearly under her light dress. Adrian came in from the kitchen, holding a glass of juice. “Here, my love,” he said softly, handing it to her.
“Thank you,” she smiled, taking a sip. “You’ve been so caring lately.”
Adrian grinned. “You’re carrying my little princess. Of course, I’ll take care of you.”
Liam turned and gasped playfully. “Daddy, how do you know it’s a girl?”
Adrian bent down to his level. “Because I can feel it,” he said with a wink.
Liam giggled. “Then I’ll be the best big brother ever!”
Everyone laughed. The whole house felt warm — filled with love, laughter, and peace. After all the storms, this was finally their sunshine.

Later that evening
The family sat together outside, watching the sunset. The sky was painted in shades of orange and pink. Savannah rested her head on Adrian’s shoulder, while Liam sat on her lap, tracing shapes on her stomach.
“Mommy, when will my baby sister come out?” he asked innocently.
“Soon, sweetheart,” Savannah said softly, smiling. “She’s just resting inside for now.”
Adrian chuckled and rubbed Savannah’s back. “You’ve done well, baby. Everything’s perfect now.”
Savannah looked at him, her eyes shining. “We went through so much, Adrian… but we made it. I’m proud of us.”
He kissed her forehead gently. “You’re my strength, Savannah. You’re the reason I keep fighting.”
A tear rolled down her cheek — not of pain, but of joy. “I love you.”
“I love you more,” he replied, kissing her hand.
Aunty Lisa smiled from the porch, watching them quietly. “God truly answered my prayers,” she whispered. “This is how it was meant to be.”

A few weeks later
One bright morning, Savannah gave birth to a beautiful baby girl. Adrian held her tiny hand and looked at Savannah with tears in his eyes. “She looks just like you,” he said softly.
Savannah smiled weakly. “We did it, Adrian. Our little family is complete.”
Aunty Lisa and Liam came into the room, their faces glowing with happiness. Liam climbed onto the bed carefully and kissed the baby’s forehead. “Hi baby sister,” he whispered. “I’m your big brother Liam. I’ll protect you forever.”
Everyone laughed, and Savannah wiped her tears. “That’s my sweet boy.”
Adrian looked around the room — his wife, his children, and his family. For the first time, everything felt complete. No more fear. No more pain. Only peace.
He took Savannah’s hand, squeezed it gently, and whispered, “This is our new beginning.”
Savannah nodded with a smile. “Yes, it is. And we’ll never let anything break us again.”
The baby cooed softly, as if agreeing.
Outside, the morning sun shone through the curtains, painting the room in golden light — a symbol of hope, love, and the beautiful life that had just begun.
