Chapter 134: Dress Shopping

Chapter 134: Dress Shopping
Jaycee’s P.O.V.

We got up the next morning; Ace was already showered and dressed when I got up. So, i grabbed my outfit and went into the bathroom to take my shower. I forgot to pack my curling iron and hair dryer. (I guess its air drying for me today.) I thought as I stepped into the hot stream of water from the shower head. After getting out of the shower, I dried off my body and then my hair which I decided to put up in a high ponytail, I then put my dirty clothes and shower essentials in the duffle bag and grabbed out my make-up, I put on light pink eyeshadow and blush to match my pink sweater dress. I then put my make-up back in the duffle bag and went downstairs to breakfast.

“Do you need a ride?” Ace asked me as I went to sit down next to him at the kitchen table.
“No, she doesn't. I’ll take her, I was thinking leaving straight for the boutique from here.” Carmella said.
“Ok, then I'll just head right over to the apartment. Last night when I ordered the Livingroom tables, I also ordered a kitchen table since we forgot a about it.”
“Oh my god, thank you.” I am relieved that at least one of us was thinking. “Are we picking up the girls or are they going to meet us there?” I asked Carmella after taking a bite of my eggs.
“They’re going to meet us there.” She answered, as she gets up and picks up her plate, walks into the kitchen.
“Well, I'm out of here. I’ll grab the duffle bag after making sure that we didn’t forget anything, then I will head to the apartment. Oh, we forgot to get a washer a dryer.” I said remembering the two items that we need the most.
“Remind me when we go to the department store that we also need to go to the appliance department. I say to him as I get up from my seat to take care of my dirty plate. Ace comes back downstairs with our duffle bag over his shoulder. He then comes up to me and kisses me on the temple.
“I’ll see you when you're done.” He says as he walks over to the door.

Carmella and I leave shortly after him before we leave. Carmella kisses Ricardo. We walk out of the house and over to her car, we enter the car and when we are safely buckled in, she starts the engine.

“Ready?” She asked me as she pulled out of the driveway.
“Yep! You do know where we are going, right?” I asked her. We pull up in front of the boutique just as Shirley and Brenda Sue gets out of their car. We wait for them in front of the door; they walk up to us.
“We are so sorry for the other day, we should have never believed a word that bitch said about you.” Brenda Sue said.
“I understand that you hardly know me. So, what do you say we change that.” I suggested to them as Carmella smiles at reaction. Entering the store, we are greeted by a sales associate.
“Hello and welcome to Brides to be boutique. My name is Rhonda and I will be helping you today. You are the Garcia Bridal party, am I right?”
“Yes, my name is Jaycee Garcia. I am the one that called and made the appointment with you.” I say handing her my business card.
“Oh yes, the wedding planner. Now which one of you is the blushing bride to be?” She asked, looking at the three girls with me.
“That would be me.” Carmella said as she literally bushes at the statement.
“Ok, I will attend to you first, then the maid or matron of honor, then the bridesmaids. Is that ok with you?”
“Yes of course, however you usually work is fine with us.” I say to her as she drags Carmella away. The three of us follow them. We all got done choosing our dresses and having our measurements taken. “When will the dresses be ready?”
“Well, for dresses and the normal fittings so I would say no later than next week. I’ll call Jaycee when the dresses are ready and set up an appointment with her.
“That will work. Thank you for your help.” I say to her, shaking her hand. We left and as we walked to the cars, Shirley stopped us.
“Hey, how about gabbing some lunch before we go home?”
“That sounds good. Carmela?”
“I have no probllem with that. I don’t have to be to the bar until two this afternoon.” She informs us.
“Good! Where did you have in mind? I asked Shirley.
“How about the diner three blocks over, I think it’s a new place that just opened. I don’t remember ever seeing it before.” she suggested.
“Sounds good to me!” Bth Carmella and I say in unison.
