Chapter 37

“You are not doing this now, Jimmy!!” Jeff snapped as he held his right arm.

“He deserves some respect. All he ever did was keep you alive so that one day, you could continue the fight he couldn't finish. And what are you doing now? Want to have a hand-to-hand combat with your father?” He snarled as he watched Jimmy's wolf growl.

“Let him be, he has every right to do so. I have been a bad father, and he has been a spoiled child who challenges his father.” Ryan mumbled as he clicked his fingers.

One of the guards had put the cigarette in his mouth and had lighted it.

All the men who had accompanied him down here were all dressed in black.

They were huge, and their aura was domineering, and they all had glasses on.

“If I win your men in a hand-to-hand combat, then I get to decide if I get to go with you, or I stay back.” Jimmy snapped as he folded his sleeve up a bit.

He wrapped his fist, ready to break the bones of the first man to approach him.

“Jimmy!! Are you insane?” Jeff scowled as he tried dissuading him from taking the next step.

“Jimmy, my little boy. I know you are upset with me, but you stand no chance of defeating these men. Highly trained men who can break your bones within a split of a second.” Ryan muttered as he threw the cigarette on the floor, and crushed it with the heel of his right shoe.

Jimmy chuckled softly as he took a few steps forward with his fist wrapped and his veins, sprouting out like they were about to burst.

Ryan had ordered one of the men to attack and in a split of a second, the man was sent flying back to the feet of Ryan, groaning and holding his rib cage tight.

Tears streamed down his eyes as he struggled to get back on his feet.

Their eyes all went wild in shock, not excluding Jefferson, who was surprised how Jimmy did that.

Ryan had ordered the next guard, and it was a bit combative, as they were both powerful enough.

Jimmy incurred a broken nose as a deadly kick was released on his nose, making him bleed severely.

He staggered backwards as he maintained a stance and his green eyes got darker and his veins, sprouted out the more as he faced downwards.

He cracked back his nose, fixing it back and signaled the man to come again and this time around, he had backflipped as he released a deadly kick at the back of the arm, and he staggered, losing balance and being at the advantage of Jimmy who was completely enraged already.

All he could think about right now was the tales he heard about his mother and how his father abandoned him when he was just a year old.

He scourged the man's right eye off before cracking his left leg, leaving him disabled for the moment.

Before he could raise his head up, a deadly punch sent him flying as he crashed on a pillar before crashing down on the floor, raising dust up.

He coughed out blood as he struggled to stand up back.

“You're no way compared to my strength. I might be old, but I haven't lost my touch and with just a fierce blow, you'll be disabled for eternity without healing!!” Ryan scoffed as he ordered two of his men to support the two men Jimmy had beaten up.

“I get to decide if you come along or if you stay back, and my decision is, you are coming along with me back to where you truly belong to.”

“I fucking belong no where, I am a hybrid, two races and this is where I choose to stay!!” He snarled.

“Then I guess your mother was wrong. You weren't a fighter like me. You're just a child, a coward!!” Ryan cursed as he turned to leave.

“I will go ahead, and I will die while fighting to avenge your mother's death. You shouldn't have taken her beautiful eyes because you're nothing but a disappointment.” He turned back as he looked at Jimmy, who was now calm.

“What a-are you saying??” He stuttered as his eyes drowned in tears. “What-t do you-u mean by avenge her death??” He said in a low tone as he shifted backwards.

Uncle. Jefferson had supported him from behind as he tried to calm him down.

“Yeahh!! This is the time when you finally possess your true powers as a hybrid.”

“Every lives is woven together. Held together by secrets and you are not exempted, Jimmy. Your mother's killer is not just any vampire but a powerful vampire, and only you can stop him."

“Who is the killer??" He growled.
